I was particularly impressed with the extra care they took to prevent drywall dust from going everywhere, including "walling off" the work area with plastic, covering everything else in the area with drop cloths and then thoroughly vacuuming the carpeting when they finished. I paid him to add a ridge…read morevent at one of my properties and assumed he did it correctly however I learned thanks to my handyman that the work was not done and instead of cutting a ridge vent into the roof, they just put the shingles over the ridge to make it appear done. I notified Mike of the issue 22 days ago (4/17/19) and excuse after excuse the work is still not done. Feel free to message me for more details and screenshots of the messages. I repeat, do not hire Mike or his crew, you will be sorry. I will keep spreading the word so others will not get taken advantage of.

We gave a "roofer" a chance who recently moved to Eaton Rapids from Missouri. Mike was a no show for the estimate he scheduled. The next day he showed up at 8 AM with a sob story and a zillion apologies. We had him do a minor repair on our garage. He quoted one price then added an extra $100.00. We re-hired him to do another roof repair and the next day he showed up, with no apology 4 1/2 late. His quote amounted to be $150.00 per hour for the time spent on the job. Mike had us make our check(s) payable to him personally yet wrote the bill on company letter head (M&R Construction, LLC). He did not want to clean up the discarded roofing material, nails, etc. on the ground. He verbally attacked my wife the following morning for asking about his falling apart shoes and van yet he had money for cigarettes and lottery tickets. I saw Mike's story on this site and was eager to give him business he was asking for as a new resident. Beware!
