I held back per Paul's request just enough to have him come back and finish the job, yet not enough to have someone else fix the installation issues. There is no warranty nor integrity here. I would avoid using him at all costs, and unfortunately he is Rycus Floorings only and #1 guy. I waited quite a while for Heritage to install my shower, which is usually a good sign-but after the damaged tiles needed to be ordered he bailed after weeks of waiting for the new tile to come in. He agreed to pay for the new box of tile, however I am trying to find a tile guy willing to finish and fix someone else's work. Sad part is they were only a day and a half's worth of work from completion and a good review, now it's my headache.

Tom and his crew built us a totally custom home, were professional, responsive, and now we are in our forever home. My entire family is happy here. Like living in a vacation home. Highly, highly recommended and believe me, my family is "picky". All the horror stories you hear about building, I have none. Only regret is I wish I had picked a different light fixture in one room. I would strongly encourage others to be cautious when doing business or working with this company…read morebased on my personal experience. I attempted multiple times to handle a serious issue privately and professionally involving equipment stolen and seen using it on FB post etc. When I arrived with law enforcement to try and verify the equipment, the business owner refused to cooperate or allow the officer to view it, despite the situation potentially being resolved very quickly through simple transparency. As someone who depends on this equipment for work, the lack of concern and accountability was extremely disappointing. What was even more concerning to me was the company's continued support of an employee "with multiple and recent DV and theft charges" despite repeated issues and complaints surrounding his conduct. Instead of helping resolve the matter professionally, I was met with denial and resistance. I have documented conversations, screenshots, photos, and other evidence connected to this situation and will continue pursuing the proper channels. I believe businesses should operate with honesty, professionalism, and accountability, and unfortunately that was not my experience here.

Levinsohn Restauration I do not recommend. The owner, Elliott Levinsohn, is the worst builder I…read morehave ever had at my house. He himself is not a good business man and his wife will do all talking, planning and writing up the bills. He was also extremely slow, so much so that my neighbors came to tell me that this man working on my porch was "taking me for my money". He also had a temper. His so called 30 years of experience is a lie. He worked in an office doing paperwork most of his life, hated his job and retired very early. His wife also hated her job and retired early. So they started this business. (She claims to be an interior decorator but never was able to show anything substantial she had done). He certainly did a lousy job at my house and it took him so long that it was laughable (at least my neighbors laughed). Plus he was very very expensive. The job was so bad that it came apart the next spring and I had to take him to court. In court he brought a witness with him who was a guy who's building license was taking away by the State of Michigan. My witnesses (a building inspector and a building contractor) recognized Mr. Levinsohn's witness but could not say anything in court, yet wen we all came out they were astonished that that fellow who's building license was revoked by the State was his witness. (Apparently that witness was quit well know for his bad work by other builders). By the way, I won in court, Mr Levinsohn had to pay for all the damage and I had another builder redo it. He is dishonest, slow, and his work is not as good at all as he claims. He has a very high opinion of himself, and has a temper, and his wife will do all the business writing and talking. Be aware of this duo.
