I notified Mike of the issue 22 days ago (4/17/19) and excuse after excuse the work is still not done. Feel free to message me for more details and screenshots of the messages. I repeat, do not hire Mike or his crew, you will be sorry. I will keep spreading the word so others will not get taken advantage of.

Mike was a no show for the estimate he scheduled. The next day he showed up at 8 AM with a sob story and a zillion apologies. We had him do a minor repair on our garage. He quoted one price then added an extra $100.00. We re-hired him to do another roof repair and the next day he showed up, with no apology 4 1/2 late. His quote amounted to be $150.00 per hour for the time spent on the job. Mike had us make our check(s) payable to him personally yet wrote the bill on company letter head (M&R Construction, LLC). He did not want to clean up the discarded roofing material, nails, etc. on the ground. He verbally attacked my wife the following morning for asking about his falling apart shoes and van yet he had money for cigarettes and lottery tickets. I saw Mike's story on this site and was eager to give him business he was asking for as a new resident. Beware!

Instead of taking responsibility, they attempted to blame me for their improper installation. They were also not upfront about the total cost until after the old roof had already been removed. Additionally, no waivers or disclosures regarding the installation were ever presented or signed. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this company and believe you would be better off hiring a smaller contractor who provides better workmanship at a fraction of the cost. I also have numerous photos available for anyone who would like to review them before hiring this company.

On 2/28/24 or area was the recipient of severe storms with embedded heavy hail and high winds. Just east of us a tornado touched down in mostly open farmland and did extensive damage. The roof Ron's Roofing installed on our home went through the storm unscathed according to the inspector who was here today. Neighbors who had roofs installed after ours have to have new roofs installed subsequent to this storm. We would recommend Ron's Roofing to anyone who asks for a recommendation.
