Fast, friendly polite I switched to Total Eyecare a year ago, my last set of glasses I got from another provider didn't last. My wife had an appointment and I was going to purchase some prescription sunglasses while I waited for her. When I went over to examine the frames one of the clerks asked me (in a very rude accusatory way) if she could help me with something. She actually blew off the customer talking to her to harass me. I said I was looking at sunglasses and she told me if I didn't have an appointment I has no business there. No problem, bought my $400 shades at Wal Mart vision center, they were great! read more

This was one of if not the busiest Optometrist office I have ever been to and I've lived in big cities for most of my life so that is saying a lot. Given they were having a "frame fair" where there were reps with different companies hawking their wares and showing people which styles suit them best (which was in itself a plus as I was able to try on new and different types of frames that I probably wouldn't have if there wasn't a friendly salesman milling about). But what really set this place apart was the extremely friendly and dare I say convivial office staff that was paramount in making my experience comfortable and even enjoyable (it was almost as though they could tell Doctors offices give me anxiety and they were there to joke and put me at ease). The Doctor's assistant and the optometrist were extremely professional and efficient, I was taken better care of than I have been by an optometrist in over a decade and I've been to a lot through the years. Thank You total eyecare, I am confident in my prescription and will be back. My one complaint was the lack of frames they have for Medicaid patients, it's a good thing I'm an aging hipster and gramma frames match my style. On another note the frames and lenses are very "spendy" so I would recommend going there with good insurance. read more

I change to Total Eyecare for several reasons, from my former provider, and I've never regretted doing so. My latest visit was an annual checkup, and they were already prepared with my insurance coverage limits and benefits. My exam went well, very complete, and they are always willing to spend as much time as I need and answer all my questions. During the exam, the doc found something distressing to me, but he assured me it was nothing to worry about, and explained why, to my satisfaction. They always explain the various ways I can get lenses for my particular issues. I will need surgery for something that causes discomfort and vision problems, and the doctor explained why in great detail and with complete professionalism and empathy. Why did I not go with Total Eyecare years ago? Live and learn. read more

The girl who I spoke with over the phone seem very passive and annoyed. I only wanted to inquire about a certain thing, she gave me what I needed but definitely made me feel very uncomfortable and awkward. If this is the phone service they provide, I would hate to actually go in and have to experience a full service. read more

Total eyecare has been taking care of my family for many years we can't think of going anywhere else. They know us, they take good care of us, they are personally involved with our needs. The only thing I don't like is frames and glasses are extremely expensive if you don't have insurance. read more

My eye exam went very well and the office staff seemed very nice. The woman who helped me with my glasses was very helpful in the beginning but after she decided that I would have difficulty finding frames, she literally sat at her desk on her computer and only answered questions I would ask. I actually had to ask her to please help me find frames that were suitable for my face, only then did she get up from her desk and help, "very little" I spent quite a bit on frames here but unfortunately I won't be back do to this very rude person. read more
