I worked with Total Disposal as the personal representative for an estate, and they were great to work with. Pricing was fair and transparent, they were flexible with scheduling, and everyone I interacted with was very friendly and professional. During what can be a stressful process, they made things straightforward and easy. I'd definitely recommend them and would use them again if needed. read more

Total Disposal - Dumpster and Contact #. - Dumpster Rental Near Me - Arvada, Colorado

What a great company to work with! After his death, we were cleaning out my father's home and these folks gave us an amazing rate and swapped out our dumpster quickly when we needed a second dumpster. Pleasant, efficient and great customer service. Thanks folks for all you help! read more

I was looking for a roll-off dumpster and called 6 companies in total, shopping around. Most of the companies I called were at least a week out even though they advertised "next-day" service. All of the companies I called rented out for 7 days and were over-priced. It was worth it to shop around! I was so glad I called Total Disposal. The gal I booked with was happy, polite, and eager to help. They helped me decide which dumpster size was appropriate for my job, their pricing was under the other companies and their base rental was 10 days! They delivered my dumpster the next business day (even though I called later in the day). I ended up having to extend the rental, it was easy and only $15/per extra day. I could not be happier with their services! Total Disposal has earned a repeat customer and I will happily refer them to any friend that asks if I have used a roll-off dumpster service. Thank you Total Disposal!! read more

This company completely screwed me. They removed a dumpster without notice and ignored my request to keep the dumpster a few days extra (which is an additional fee). I clearly stated when I ordered the dumpster that I'll need it more than the 10 days allotted. Their response was no problem, each additional day is $30, which I agreed to. After learning that they removed the dumpster, they offered to bring another one, at an additional charge of $295! I was blown away by this. Forget this company. I order close to 40 dumpsters a year and will certainly not use this company ever again. Buyer beware. I suggest calling another company for your disposal needs. Edit: After reviewing my records, the dumpster was on my job site for 9 business days, not 10. They charged me for 10 days and only allotted me 9. On top of screwing me over and leaving me hanging, they shorted me a day. Horrible company. Never again will I do business with or recommend. read more

This was a great company to work with! They had the best price, and their customer service was wonderful. They gave me info on where to dispose of items that couldn't go in the landfill. They were "generous" on their 14 day pickup. I will definitely use them again. read more

Great service! I would use them again if needed, and I would highly recommend calling them first. Best prices and availability!

Super awesome to work with! They resolved a scheduling problem. These folks go above and beyond!!!

Great service. Trash cans are left in driveway and close to house. Reasonable rates. read more

Don't use them for anything. When we bought our house, Total Disposal was the trash service that the previous owners had used, so we stuck with them. We kept the service for 6 months and during that period, they failed to pickup our trash 6 times. I called every time and was told every time that the driver had come by our house and our trash wasn't out. That was BS because I had put the trash out the night before on every one of those occasions and it was in the same spot that it had been on the weeks when they did manage to pick it up. Not once did they come back out and pick it up the same day. They made me wait anywhere from 1-7 days before coming back out. I also never received any credits to my account. We recently ordered a roll off dumpster from them and we were charged a different price than what was listed on their website. I asked them about it and they said that they hadn't updated their website in awhile and those prices are wrong. I'm pretty sure it's illegal to charge a different price than what is advertised. We had the dumpster for a week and they failed to pick it up on the day that there were supposed to! I called and left a message for them for 3 days before they managed to call me back and came to pick it up 4 days after they were supposed to. To make matters worse, I received an unsolicited group text message from them asking me to rate how they did with the dumpster. I received the phone numbers of 9 other people who had recently been customers of theirs and each of them received my phone number. In addition to giving my number out to other people and verifying to those other people that my number is valid, they and the 2 other people who responded to them in the group text used 3 of the limit of 200 text messages that I get every month. Dan, their owner, needs a good lesson in customer service because my conversations with him were never pleasant and I don't appreciate being called a liar time and time again. read more

Good prices and great customer service. I would definitely rent a roll off from them again.

This place has low regard for their customers. They sold off their residential service without giving their customers, who paid ahead, a chance to discontinue service before the sale. I will never use them again for any type of service! read more

When the time I paid for runs out, I will not be renewing my trash removal service with them. When I moved to Arvada they left a flier on my door, so I signed up for the weekly trash pick up. They come on time, take your trash, and get the job done. I just find this service to be too expensive for what it is. In addition, they drag your trash barrel on the asphalt, rather than use the barrel's wheels, which will eventually ware a hole in the plastic. Then they throw your barrel and lid on the ground in your drive way. I never thought I would have an opinion on trash pick up, I guess I'm an adult now. read more

I've had Total Disposal now for close to a year since I bought my new home and I have to say I am very pleased. What I really like and appreciate is the extra level of service of bringing my trash can up to my house when they pick up the trash. That little extra bit of courtesy, which only takes them maybe 10 seconds, makes a huge difference! They've never missed a pick up and I'm happy to say I will be continuing my service with them. read more

This has been the best experience we have ever had with a trash company! Good price heat service!

Very rude customer service rep. Actually, I don't know her name because she would not give it to me nor would she let me talk to a manager. I do know it wasn't Charlotte(spoke to her b4). This woman needs to learn how to talk to customers in a respectable manner. read more

Called on Monday from a flier ($10/month for the first three months), first pickup on Wednesday! Showed up before 9:00 a.m. and returned the garbage can to the garage door. Great Price, reliability, can't be that! read more

Terrible! Do not use! They drove right past my garbage cans and I called an dispose with a less than friendly female that pretty much made it known that I was already bothering her just with hello.... I asked why my garbage wasn't picked up and she said there was no payment made- I let her know payment was made on their Internet payment system over a month ago. She stated that if I didn't know the eEXACT date I paid it she could not help me... Seriously what accounting software do they use? I asked if I could give a payment over the phone today to have the garbage men come back since they were still n the neighborhood.. Se said no- they are way behind and can not come back... Seriously when is your customer service? On vacation or was there never any anyway? Wow in this day and age where people should help one another -- guess you don't get that from this company- Please think twice before using....I warned you read more

I have had total disposal for 1-2 years & never a problem. They stopped picking up my trash the 1st week of June & have not responded back to me. Are they still in business? read more

On August 15, I came home to find that my trash container was covered in oil. The lid was open and the oil was dripping on the pavement (the sides were covered as well). I contacted Total Disposal (spoke with Mike) and he claims that another neighbor must have had some type of cooking oil in their trash and when they dumped my trash in the truck, the oil container probably burst and covered my container in oil. I asked that they replace my container with a new one (or, at least, a clean one), but they would not do so. I told them I would not put the container in my garage as it was dripping oil and they needed to replace it with a clean one. After speaking with a few neighbors, I learned from another neighbor that when the trash was picked up, the trash truck had some type of hydraulic oil spraying out of the truck and it sprayed my container, along with the pavement by the garage. I have photos of the container, as well as photos of the oil spray on the pavement. I have contacted Total Disposal four times and they still have not resolved the situation. During one call, they claim they had someone return to my home and clean the container. They said they have a video showing it being cleaned and I've requested proof of their cleaning the container. I have never received a copy of the video nor, in my opinion, has the container been cleaned. It is covered in oil (and now dust/dirt stuck to the oil) on the entire outside of the container. They have yet resolved this situation and claim that they will not do anything further. I would NOT recommend this company. Poor customer service. read more

In general this company's service has fine-- but sometimes they simply fall short. Once I watched the two pick-up guys leave a full trash can because they each new-ish trash can disappeared during one pick-up. And this week they threw both empty trash cans into the idle of my very ornate and blooming Zen Garden. AND their contact email doesn't even work for registering a complaint. I may start researching other trash companies. read more

I just moved to the Brighton area and was in the need of a good trash company. I saw that ,I neighbor used them and asked how they liked the service that they were receiving. They spoke every highly of the drivers and of the office staff saying that they were very helpful in getting any type of special pickup arraigned. With this recommendation I decided to signup with them and I have been using them for about a month now. The drivers are very polite and always bring the trash cans up by the house so they do not get blown away. Shortly after my move I had a little more trash then normal and it was taken away with out a problem. I work in the Denver area so I decided to go to there office to pay the bill and just as I was told the office staff was very friendly. They even had a resident dog that was super friendly and happy to say hi. I would recommend this company one that is in need of a good and courteous trash removal service. read more

Great service, drivers, pricing is very competitive. Used for home remodel project would definitely use them again.

Very poor customer service. I had 2 weeks in a row with no pick up & they did nothing to correct the issue. I would not recommend this company for any trash removal needs. read more

I would not recommend this company. The $10 offer is a six month deal and then comparable to other trash companies they are more expensive. When I originally signed up for the service, I was never told of a bag limit. At the beginning of the summer, we put out our trash after doing a little spring cleaning. We had approx. 5 bags and three trash cans. My husband happened to be home at the time of the pick up and watched the driver pick up the trash cans and leave everything else. When he caught up with the driver and asked why they didn't take the rest, the driver told my husband to call the owner. We ended up speaking with the owner who told us it'd be an additional $25 charge to pick up the additional trash and that their policy is 8 trash bags during the spring and fall and 4 trash bags during the summer and winter. He also stated they have a $140K piece of equipment that can only take things that are easily compactable and he just wants to be treated fairly by his customers!?! Funny, here I am trying to ensure I'm getting the service I'm paying for and he just wants to be treated fairly. He also said that he didn't get the same story from his driver. What happened to customer service - he could have just picked up the trash, called it a day and still maintained a customer. Last, part of their standard service offerings is that the drivers will put your cans up by your garage door. I have three cans that are all broken now and generally laying on their sides when I get home. Apparently, they're not put, they're thrown. I've never had an issue with a trash company before. I'm switching back to a different company who offers a lower price and no maximum haul away. read more

Sadly they have not picked up my trash on four occasions and I am at the point now of switching to another trash company. I am giving them one more chance to redeem themselves, but I personally would not recommend them. read more

Rude people, terrible customer service and missing garbage cans, go somewhere else! My husband and I had called to see why 5 of garbage cans were disappearing, we had been with our previous garbage company for 6 years (they went out of business or I would still be there) without anything like this happening. Garbage cans are not cheap and when 5 out of 6 of them disappear it's an issue. Of course, they denied taking them. We then stated that would be our last month of service with them, some guy got really hostile. I then called later to verify our service was indeed cancelled, the woman on the phone was so rude. And she wanted to charge me $8 for not cancelling, she was literally yelling at me on the phone. I did find another company who is awesome, and pleasant when you call. read more

This company picks up my garbage. Most times. When I called the office it was my fault both times. I put out cans the night before. They said it was not there. The last pickup they took my wheels from the can with the garbage. Sent certified letter to them to complain. No response what so ever. Something is wrong with their office staff. read more

I can't even give this 1 star for the the way they handled my problem. They didn't pick up my trash for 2 weeks and when I called to find out why, they said my credit card was not valid and my phone number was disconnected. In my defense I said I hadn't called them with a new card number and I dropped my land line. When I asked why a simple knock on my door to let me know the situation, she told me they didn't have time to do that, making me feel like they didn't need my business. She said they would need to hire a person to check on every bad cc or phone number. They have my name and phone number, why didn't they send me a notice telling me I needed to update my info. I believe they didn't care if they lost my business. read more

I am so disappointed with Total Disposal's service. Firstly, we were quoted one price then overcharged. Secondly, we scheduled a pick up time for the dumpster to be removed but called to to reschedule for the following day because we needed more time. We we're told that was fine and that we would just be charged for the extra day....that's fine but then They turn up at 7:00 In the morning morning a day prior to pickup. So now we have stuff left over because they won't return it to us as originally scheduled. When I called them, not even an apology or a second thought to the schedule we had agreed on! So very upset since now we have to haul off the rest of our it stuff to ourselves and still pay the full amount for the dumpster (and they're not exactly cheap) read more
