Davan installed our new quartz countertops on 08/27/2025 after shopping around for several months…read more We ended up selecting quartz countertops from MSI. Some helpful hints based on our experience: 1. A big countertop dealer like MSI, located in Elk Grove Village, has a very large showroom where you can see the full countertop slabs. We had some preferences based on the web site pictures and the little quartz samples, but ended up selecting a different slab once we were in the showroom. You really want to see the full countertop slabs before your decision is finalized. 2. We were really disappointed with the Home Depot service, which is The Countertop Factory - Midwest. There was an extremely hard sell visit to our house and a take-it-or-leave it price. 3. Many quartz countertop installation services want you to select quartz they already have in stock. Davan let us shop around and we selected an MSI countetop, which MSI already had in stock. Our job therefore proceeded quickly from final slab selection to installation (less than two weeks). 4. I was unnecessarily nervous about our kitchen tile backsplash when our old formica countertops were replaced with new quartz countertops. We wanted to retain the old kitchen backsplash. That was not a problem and the installation occurred smoothly.

He worked with me on the size and found a remnant that perfectly matched my existing counter top. Once I assembled my island and called Davan I was ready, they came a day later! I am so happy with my counter top. Everyone there are exceptionally nice and very accommodating. They give you that personal warm feeling instead of the harsh and non caring attitudes we encounter. So perfect, you can't see a seam?…read more Five stars is not enough! A friend referred me to this local countertop shop. I had lived with new marble top installed by previous homeowner in my kitchen since I moved in 8 years ago. But.. the pattern was very busy, never had a nice sheen, and when I placed a clear drinking glass on it, you easily missed it? (You can't miss it in one of the pictures below.) First visit was to their Batavia facility to take home samples and discuss approximate costs with a very knowledgeable and personable staff. Second visit was to my home to measure. Third was at their site with templates of my layout on the actual slab so I could see the grain and seam alignment as it would appear in finished countertop. This was fantastic because as much as I loved the pattern I had selected, I did not like the way it would appear completed. With NO pressure at all, I was encouraged to choose from similar patterns on their many other slabs of quartz so I could get the look I wanted. Templates were placed on another choice and the veins looked like they would match close at the seam. Three professionals arrived promptly at 8am and departed at 11am (perfectly as promised) and the finished job was more than I ever imagined. I had to really search for the seam but could only feel it as it is perfect... can you find it in the picture? (HINT: blue post-its align on seam in second image.)

We were able to speak with Anna, who was very friendly and straightforward, look at samples, get an approximate quote based on the measurements we brought, and get back home with time to spare on my lunch hour. I was surprised with how simple it all was, and the price seemed reasonable. We called back and scheduled the in home measurement the same day, booked the service, and had it installed about a week later. On the day they did the installation, I had removed the previous sink but couldn't get it outside by myself. Art, the installer, helped me carry it down when he arrived, and was able to install the new counter and sink in less than an hour. Overall, a pretty easy and reasonably priced process. I'll likely go back to them when I replace my half bath and kitchen counters.

I had to wait ten days, but it was worth it. (Left a request on Angi, and not one viable reply.) He replaced five large tiles that had detached and regrouted around them... saving me from having to re-do the entire bathroom floor. Matched perfectly... you can't tell the old work from the new. Arrived on time and worked quickly. I was worried about tile/grout dust, but there wasn't a spec in my condo after he left. Highly recommended!

I hired Radek/Chicago Tile Services to rip out my old shower tile & shower pan and redo the entire thing brand new. He was very kind, super responsive and informative from the beginning and made the whole process very easy. Despite having some issues with the drain and having to bring in a plumber to assist with a portion of the work (which ended up delaying us about 1 1/2 days), everything that he estimated from both time and cost was exact. His work quality was great and he made it very painless by allowing me to select the tile and then picking it up to do the job. He is extremely knowledgeable and I will not only recommend him to others but will call on him when I need work from him in the future. Thank you again!
