May 2019 was an excessively rainy month, but when the weather finally breaked in June, our job started at 8 a.m. and was completely finished and cleaned up by 6 p.m. same day. As an aside, the existing flashings around 2 chimneys were a different color from the roof & on their own they thoughtfully painted the flashings to match the color of the roofing material (beautiful), besides sealing them. EXCELLENT. after being in my tri level for 1 1/2 years, the kitchen roof was leaking all over the place. Called in 2 roofers, one didn't call till a week later, and the other the next day, over a week and still no estimate from that roofer. Called Dal Bianco on a Saturday early morning not expecting a call till Monday. Two hours later Russ calls and an hour later he arrived, inspected and gave an estimate. 6;30 AM Monday morning I received a text that they can be here at 8 AM in between a lot of rain. They showed up, at 9 they had their permit and a team tore off and replaced the roof, by 12;30 they were cleaned up and gone. Seller lied that roof did not leak, six very bad areas. Never did I expect such quick response to my call or such great service. 100 percent recommend Dal Bianco, and so grateful because so much rain came after they completed the job. My 19 year old home needed a new roof. The original shingles were starting to crack. I called several roofers for quotes and Russ Dal Bianco came in with the best quote and the most thorough explanation of what needed to be done. He also offered several shingle options. The crew came out in the morning and finished at dusk. They did a superb job. Replaced some damaged plywood, replaced the skylight, and even installed vents that matched the roof color instead of shiny metal vents. The crew all put on headbands with lights to clean up all around the house as it got dark. Russ came back the next morning to do another go around to make sure he removed as much of the debris as possible - and only then did he ask for payment. Just had Russ Dal Bianco's company out of Munster do our roof on July 6, 2018. The roof looks great - got a compliment on the roof from a neighbor yesterday! - and the price was so much better than M&M's and Nombach Roofing and better than Lang's. What I also appreciated was that I dealt directly with Russ, the owner, and not a salesperson, as was the case with the other 3 estimates I got. Highly recommended, and he also does not use subcontractors. Russ was at our house with his crew at 8 am as promised and he was on the roof working part of the time too. He came back to check the progress around noon and then came back before 5 when the job was finished. The workers were polite and friendly and they also did a very nice job of cleaning up. I have purchased 2 rehab homes in the last couple of years. Dal Bianco did complete tear offs on both. They were significantly the lowest bid out of 3 both times. They were extremely fast and through. After about 4 years, the roof in my first rehab home began leaking around a sky light. We called out Dal Bianco immediately. When they came out they informed us that the leak was due to animal damage. They repaired the roof at no charge! We've used Russ twice. Once for a repair, and once for a new roof. I can't recommend him enough. Everything was very professional, and it was like a well-oiled machine the way the work was conducted. The roof was torn down and the new roof on in one day. Our home is 2000 square ft, not large, but not tiny. Not one of my plants were damaged, and the workers were as clean as they could be. At least a dozen men attacked my old shingles. One day and it was done. My roofing job might have been a little more difficult because we needed a transition material between the shingles on the main house onto the steel roof over the screened-in back porch. Perfect. We also had one new skylight installed. Clean! Clean! Clean! Even the dumpster was a three axle Dal Bianco trailer which means no residual scratches on our drive from a drop off steel box.
