But they are the first doctors that are there to actually help me and listen to me when I have any concerns. Never make me feel bad about it either, like some doctors. Very clean, very professional and frankly the best doctors I have been in to see in a very long time. This has always been a teaching facility, and they always let you speak to the doc in charge to explain your visit findings. Being a teaching facility I always thought that it would bring new ideas and practices to the practice as well. I can't say enough about this practice. My youngest daughter goes here as well, and she has major health issues for her age and she loves them as well.

I was given a printout that has nothing I couldn't Google myself. When I asked the woman who handed me the papers a question, she said it's all in the printout. My wife had driven me over and waited patiently while I was in there. She asked me what pharmacy they were sending me to. I diodn't see it on the paperwork and went back into the office to ask. One of the two indifferent office staff told me it was oin the first page. Nope. Took the paperwork back inside and the other one, who had handed me the papers, said I wasn't being given a prescription. So I paid $95 of my hard-earned money to be told to "get better," and if my symptions got worse, go to the ER. Wow. This is some way to do business. Google's Gemini states that "The most common cause of a sore throat is a virus, not bacteria. In this case, antibiotics would be ineffective and potentially harmful by contributing to antibiotic resistance. A proper diagnostic test, like a rapid strep test or throat culture, is necessary to determine the cause." That's fine, but they didn't do a strep test. The NP looked at my throat and said it was strep because of how red it was. The Nurse Practioner who saw me did not say anything other than that I should change my tooth brush. So I would say the strikes against this particular facility are incompetent care and snide, indifferent office staff. Considered lodging a formal complaint but chose not to. Would never go back and would never recommend them.

This delayed my knee surgery and I had a cardiologist run all relevant tests. His EKG showed no evidence of a heart attack and the tests showed that my heart was healthy. Now just over a year ago I went to care one for a persistent cough. At that time the did a EKG for unknown reasons and at that time informed me that I had had a recent heart attack. I went to the cardiologist that they recommended and after various tests was told that I had not had a heart attack and that my heart was healthy. So after all this I was billed and expected to pay for their incompetence. I would suggest they hire knowledgeable medical staff and their review ratings may actually go up

From the nurses to transport staff were all caring and patient and prompt whether drawing blood or carrying him down for tests. I didn't meet any of his doctors except those at admitting- rounds are so early I would have had to dorms night in order to catch them. Only thing, and what hospital doesn't have complaints, was the food. They brought him roast beef one evening for dinner and we thought it was meatloaf! lol But the desserts were quite tasty.

Good thing he agreed a half mile later! I turned around and off to the ER we went. John got "fast tracked", not that it's fast- it just really means they know going in that he won't be admitted. It took a while to be taken back- he was triaged in the front pretty quickly though. Once back- they sent xray fairly quickly and then we waited. A couple hours later the nurse walked in with discharge papers and we laughed because he hadn't seen the doctor- who strolled in just as we were saying that. John's like, so it isn't broke? and this time the doc laughed- oh it's broken alright! He ran through the diagnosis and that John needs to follow up with an orthopedic, to rotate taking ibprophen and Tylenol and ice, ice baby. And we were gone.

Sam, the xray technician was great, answered all my questions and explained everything. I was well taken care of for sure. I went back for a self imposed follow-up to make sure there was nothing else to be done and to be checked out and that was on Wed, April 22. Another Melissa who is a care giver whom I have dealt with in the past reviewed everything, answered my questions with no rushing. My experience, however, was not the best. The waiting time was surprisingly long despite being second in line. I waited for 40 minutes in the waiting room which wasn't a big deal for me but I was in the actual exam room for a long time, and it wasn't a very busy day. At one point I was alone in the waiting room. Once they finally got to me, I explained how I felt, since I had flu like symptoms and I needed some blood work done, and that's where my bad time was had. Here's the deal, nobody likes needles. I was told I have tiny veins, and after sticking me three times and two different arms I didn't end up getting the blood sample I needed. As soon as they pulled the needle out, blood was all over my arm, and some fell to the floor. Honestly, I'm a bit traumatized. I've had blood taken out before, and it has been very quick, almost painless, and one and done. This was a rough experience for me and idk if I can bring myself to go back after that. This was just my experience. I don't want to trash on the whole urgent care because people did seem very kind, but the waiting time was pretty long for an office that didn't seem so busy. I did after the third needle have a mini panic attack and they got me water and calmed me down. They gave me a slip to go to quest diagnostics after a few days because they couldn't get the bloodwork they needed. It's been a rough 2025 start, fam. Hoping that folks have better experiences than me.
