When you walked in this urgent care, it's very outdated. It doesn't feel like an urgent care more like an office space. There wasn't any people when I walked in. The receptionist was on her phone but she seemed surprised when I walked in. I had mentioned to her if this urgent care did RSV testing. She didn't know if they did. She went to ask the medical director and I waited for 10 minutes. She did asked me I could fill out paperwork until we get an answer. I didn't want to since I would be doing that for nothing if they didn't. Good thing I didn't because unfortunately they didn't do any RSV testing for kids. I went in for an ear infection and the First Lady I spoke to at the front desk was so kind, I came back up to hand my paperwork over and the girl behind the counter with glasses had a horrible attitude towards me. She made me feel so stupid I ended up leaving because it was better to pay the $300 copay at the ER where you are treated with respect over this place. I will never return. Also chatted it up behind the counter, after telling me I had to wait in my car until the provider was ready to see me. I was seen yesterday for my ears, throat and arm. Dr said he was giving me a script for antibiotics. What I got was an antispasm and pain medicine. I have called 3 times trying to get the right medicine and they just say leave a message a nurse will call me back. I am concerned also that whoeer else was in there whrn I was could have received the wrong meds as well and not be aware of it. DO NOT GO HERE!!! My 4-yr old son had a laceration to his head which was still bleeding upon arrival. Since we arrived at 7pm and this location closes at 9pm, the front desk nurse (likely not a nurse) told us there was a 2 hour wait in order for us to go somewhere else. There were two people waiting in the lobby. She didn't ask what his injury was, just what our military insurance was. According to triage, a bleeding head injury to a 4-yr ild should have been seen immediately. However, she couldn't be bothered. Remember that, this actually happened. This office would rather a child bleed freely from his head rather than risk (just risk) the possibility of of staying late. I had a bad experience with the nurse who took my vital signs and asked why I was there. She was cold and rude. When your in pain you want help not someone who tells you she can't call another doctor for a name of a prescription. How she too busy and don't have time. I was crying in pain and I couldn't believe how rude this women was. It didn't even seem to phase her that I was crying in pain. I called the office myself to get the name and when I gave it to her she was like oh ya thanks. Oh let me not forget how when they unlocked the front door for you to come in they couldn't even open the door. She just unlocked it. The staff are rude and very unfriendly. If I could give a negative star, I would. I went in for a physical and was told that there would be a 2 hour wait time. I took it because it needed to be done. The girl up front seemed to not want to be bothered and was semi rude. There were 4 people in the waiting room before me. As I sat and waited, numerous people came and went before all of us that were sitting there. Some came in for drug tests and physicals as well. The people before me finally got to be taken back as I sat and watched more people walk in and get seen. Over 3 hours later, I was finally taken back and my physical started. The young woman who took my vitals and such was the best one there! After all the vitals , I was taken to a room and waited 45 Minutes for Dr. Timothy Faber to come rushing in like he was in a rush to get out of the room. He proceeds to tell me I have Hypertension because of my high blood pressure reading. I in turn told him that he would have a high blood pressure reading too if he worked all day and then sat in a waiting room for over 3 hours as others got taken back and then another 45 minutes for a Dr. to come rushing in and being rude, too. He didn't like that. I told him I don't normally have high blood pressure, he acted like he didn't believe me. He then tells me I have a UTI and made some inappropriate comments about the specimen. What a bedside manner (NOT)!!! He then leaves the room and says the nurse will be in with my paperwork as I sat there waiting for him to at least give me a script. He did not. The nurse came in and looked at my copies, gave them to me and also said nothing about a script and I was escorted out to the waiting room to leave. I was dumbfounded by these actions. YOUR A DR. AND SEE THERE IS AN ISSUE AND DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!! I SEE HOW MUCH YOUR CARE ABOUT THE OATH YOU TOOK. Best advice is to avoid this place like it's a plague. Went there for Worker's Comp injury. Missed days of work due to my condition. Doctor refused to give me a release to return to work, because he didn't personally say that I could be out those days. Then, I tried to get FMLA paperwork filled out by him so that I could return to work. The office response was, "We can't do that. You will need to see a primary doctor for FMLA. I took my husband to Suncoast Urgent Care on Thursday he had a bad cough for three days and not getting better, he has diabetes, heart and kidney problems and at this point I felt the cough could be covid, I asked the receptionist for a PCR test to be done for my husband had to scan a QR code and register him all over again after telling her his symptoms had to wait forever for a nurse practitioner to see my husband he checked him and told us that he just had a bad cold they never did a rapid test had they done that I'm pretty sure he would have tested positive instead he was given a prescription for antibiotics to take only if he had a fever, His PCR was positive. Upon my entry I was not welcome with a warm greeting, only a line of questioning, and being stared at up and down like I'm short. I inform the lady at the front desk (where 3 ladies were), that I used to work for an urgent care in NYC, and ask if they will need a stool sample, as I needed and could provide a sample at that moment. I was told no, that it was not necessary. After filling out my paperwork that only took 5 minutes to do. I WAITED ABOUT OVER AN HOUR TO BE CALLED TO THE BACK. THE ROOM WAS NOT PREPPED FOR ME, AS THE PERSON WHO BROUGHT ME BACK DIDNT NOT MAKE AN EFFORT TO WIPE DOWN THE TABLE OR TEAR OFF THE PREVIOUS USED TABLE PAPER. WHEN I SHOWED I WASNT GOING TO SIT ON DIRTY PAPER, THAT PERSON DECIDE TO ONLY THAN TO RIPE OFF THE PREVIOUSLY USED TABLE PAPER! That person took my vitals and I inform them I AM a CANCER SURVIVOR. THAT DID NOT CHANGE A THING!! once she left the room, I waited 20m minutes for a NURSE PRACTIONER to come in COLDLY, NO GREETING OR STATING THEIR NAME. The NP took a brief history of my symptoms, and HAD THE NERVE TO SUGGEST IT COULD BE COVID!! I ask how?? when my nephew and I are the only ones who ate from this ESTABLISMENT (Burger King), and the ONLY ONES experiencing these precise symptoms? I was told NOT TO RULE IT OUT!! When it came time to do the physical exam. They did not do so well physically examining me, IVE BEEN TO A LOT OF HOSPITALS and CLINICS IN A LIFE TIME!! HE check for my breathing.. LOL lets just say he did not really listen to my lungs, and for the STOMACH CHECK!! Get OUT OF HERE!! HE SEEM LIKE THE THOUGHT OF TOUCHING MY STOMACH WAS BENEATH HIM, HE SWEEP MY BELLY!! ??? NOT ASKING ABOUT ANY PIN POINTS TO the PAIN I WAS EXPERIENCING WAS or CHECKED MY ORGANS!! LIKE I SAID IVE BEEN IN AND OUT OF THE HOSPITALS/CLINICS I know what a thorough exam FEELS LIKE!! Cool as I approach the front desk, they wanted to charge me my co-insurance. The two ladies upfront decide to have an attitude when I refuse to pay for the co-insurance. I've been to urgent cares.. This is one was the WORST!! I did not pay the crazy amount, because i decide to call my insurance, only to find out the the SAME NAME urgent care in my exact town is IN-Network and only would pay the Co-pay, They thought they were going to collect EXTRA money from me, and say it was my co-pay.. IM SURE OF IT...because they think I'm STUPID!! Jokes on you. I'm from NY, I question everything, everyone, especially ones who are ill mannered. There was one lady upfront who look like she knew what they were up to... She look like she wanted to say something, but i can see how she couldn't. If I could give this place no star at all to write a review, I would. It is to be expected that the wait is long in places like this, but the wait makes a difference with your dealing with polite and compassionate people, which unfortunately the staff in this place are not! The front desk person was rude like no other. At one point waiting there, I witnessed her chew a client for walking in without a mask, when she can always ask politely. People are already sick hence they come to the urgent care. Nasty attitude has no place in places that should project compassion. After witnessing ample of demeaning attitudes towards the clients, I left and went to Lifeguard Urgent Care about 7 min away from this place. Thanks to google maps, we can look for other options. I will never patronize this place ever! If you're feeling awful and wants to feel more horrible, this place is for you. But if you seek compassion during your pain, then go somewhere else! Recently we had Sean Muffley care for my husband who was in need of immediate attention for possible Bronchitis which goes into his lungs quickly. Sean treated him aggressively with several meds to prevent this from happening. We have gone there for medical attention several times and found the care to be top notch and the front end staff were always courteous and attentive. The drive is well worth the care given. This is the worst place I have ever had to experience. The front office staff is absolutely out of touch with reality. I went in there on the advise of my physician because he thought I may have a couple of broken bones and I gave them my insurance card numbers and identification but because I didn't have the actual card they wouldn't see me and because I had makeshift splint for my wrist they patronized me like I was mentally ill. Every time I have come here for simple 5-10 minute employment screenings they insist that I wait for hours behind people who are there to see the doctor. I work in medicine, and I've worked urgent cares. If a patient is there for an injection only, or a urine test only- that is a MA only visit. There is no reason for that patient to be made to wait behind other patients there for more complex reason that require a doctor visit. It's called fast tracking patients. This is the only urgent care I've been to that doesn't fast track there patients. after waiting 90 minutes, I asked how much longer, and I was told possibly another hour- for an injection. I was told its not fair to put me in front of people here to see the doctor- but I'm not here for the doctor so why am I waiting on that line? how is it fair to make me wait behind people here to see the doctor when I'm here to see an MA?Any MA can do this- it takes a few minutes, and it would not add time to the already waiting people because they're there to see the doctor. Their wait time depends on him- not the MA's or my 10 minute appointment. I ended up going to Care One of Florida- who did fast track me and I was brought back in 15 minutes and done within 20. I'll never go back to Suncoast, and I highly suggest you stay far far far away from this place. read more

Misleadiing regarding charges. My husband went to get his ears cleaned could not wait for an EENT visit. I understand that it is an urgent care clinic, we are aware that he will get charge more than a regular EENT visit. He was charged double the amount what he was told in the beginning. All they did was clean his ears no blood work, probably did not even listen to his lungs or even blood pressure. Waited 2 and 1/2 hours to be seen. I am 58 y/o I have asthma, I have been sick for over a week and have been unable to sleep for days due to a cough, I explained this to the nurse and then the Doctor I even took the medication in that I told the nurse and the doctor, has worked well in the past and allowed me to sleep at night. The. Dr comes back in says he can't find the med that was used previously but he would give me something else, the something else he gave me wired me up so bad within 15 minutes of taking it, I was shaking and antsy. I couldn't fall asleep until well after 3 in the AM because my heart was beating in my chest so hard I thought I was dying. He may be good for aches, pains and ear infections, but he is not good at listening to a 58 y/o woman who has had bronchitis and pneumonia multiple times and knows what works and what doesn't. I need to find a GOOD MD in this area so I don't need emergency clinics. PS I googled the med this morning, they still make it and I had no trouble finding it online.
