When I first started with TBR I didn't think there would be much to it. Previously being a competitive athlete and former Naval Special Ops I thought I knew how to exercise. However, once I took my first class with TBR I quickly realized that this was not your average outdoor workout. Some of the movements reminded me of my military days while many others worked me in ways I never knew. Normally, I would stick to my typical routine when working out, I made sure I got my cardio in, I hit the free weights for resistance and strength but those two never intertwined. Until TBR! TBR pushed me to get more out of my workouts in less time with better results. Instead of spending an hour and a half to two hours at the gym, my workout was cut down to less than an hour with a warm up, cool down and ab circuit! I literally got a total body workout, sweat pouring and muscles burning in less than an hour. Needless to say, I'm heading into my 6th year with TBR and have been a TBR Trainer for the past 3 years. So glad I joined!! I needed motivation, I wanted to get moving again but didn't know where to start. After getting home from work every day, leaving the house had no appeal though getting back in shape was constantly on my mind. I somewhat came to terms that this was my 40+ year old body that everyone said would hit & it's been here a couple of years now. Everything changed in November. My sister asked if I come with her if she started Total Body Results (TBR) and I was all in. The results came so quickly & I started feeling better immediately, not only physically but mentally. I absolute love total body results when I first started I was very apprehensive because I really never workout in a boot camp before I was doing kickboxing but I was Not feeling like it was getting the job done. I'm happy I decided to try total body results because Julia and Angela make you feel like your family. They are super supportive which is super nice especially for someone like my self even the group you work out with are super nice and supportive it's like a big happy fitness family I'm losing inches and weight and I'm enjoying the classes. I registered for boot camp because I had become very lazy and gotten out of the habit of working out. I felt out of shape and had gained a few pounds and my clothes weren't fitting as well.
