I have called the gym and have spoken to Nick the manager. He said that the last 200.00 charge to my account was going to be that week. I just looked in my account and they removed another 200.00 again. When I called to speak to the manager he said that I needed to come in and sign some paperwork in order need to stop the drafting. I told him that I have been very sick and that I have not been able to do much. He did not care about anything and continue to ignore my request. I have issues with my lower back and knee from some old issues from being in the military…read more I used this studio while I was traveling and instead of doing the weights portion, I wanted to do the strider and the rower. I advised the coach, Jenna, that I would be doing that. I've never had an issue with this at literally any other studio. She said I couldn't and that it wasn't part of the program. I tried explaining it was due to physical limitations but she kept trying to pressure me into doing the weight portion and forbid me doing full cardio even though there were plenty of open treads and strikers. Horrible customer service as trying to force people to do things they're not comfortable with can lead to injuries.

Came to Highland rec center for the aquatic area for my daughter's birthday. We signed up for the…read moreafternoon swim that was two hours long. Now there is a lot of amenities here at the aquatic center but the two big slides in the corner are little rocky. We decided to go down the waterslides when we first got there and noticed that both have flaws. There are wasp nests underneath the slides so you do see tons of wasp flying around. The swirl slide we took moves really slow so you have to push yourself at some point to keep moving forward down the slide. People were coming down quickly after you would get off the slides they got kind of close to landing in the water by us. The straight down slide you catch air midway, especially for a little kids you kinda stopped, touching the slide at one point. Now for the smaller kid area it was perfect for my five year old. They had little slides over there and even a medium kid slide as soon as you walk up nice splash pad a lot more slow pace and relaxing. they do have lifejackets there if needed for children. They also have a café where they serve Domino's Pizza and other snacks and drink options which we did get some Gatorade's and a whole Domino's Pizza, and for the price it wasn't bad.

I made every effort to take advantage of each trainer's individual specialties. Jared, Dana, and Kelly each have different approaches to fitness and nutrition. The commonality is that they were all passionate and knowledgeable about health and wellness. They provided me with exercise plans that I have easily incorporated into my existing program. Also, they gave me nutritional guidance that is sure to enhance my results. Each morning at the start of beach bootcamp, the trainers were enthusiastic about the activities for the day. Their excitement was infectious and made me want to work harder. It was evident that they really wanted to be there. My goals became their goals and my success was their success. They pushed me harder than I've ever been pushed before and at the end of the day, I felt a tremendous sense of accomplishment. The activities were my escape...it was like summer camp all over again. The bike rides, kayak trips, swimming - all that was missing was ghost stories around the campfire. What impressed me the most was the communication between the staff members. Each trainer had committed to memory (at least they led me to believe they had) my entire fitness questionnaire. They were educated about my goals and my entire life history. Each trainer was well informed about the activities and training done by the previous trainer. This exemplifies Getaway Fitness's level of professionalism and efficiency.

I met Jared Carter of Move Foward Fitness initially a couple of years ago at a LeTip meeting and…read moreoccasionally read his articles in the PGN. I reunited with Jared about a month ago to sign on for his "Three Weeks to a New You" program. I had gotten out of the habit of getting regular physical exercise and knew I needed to do something to prevent the exacerbation of my Stay Puff Marshmallow Man physique. Jared's approach of making gradual lifestyle changes to both my activity level and eating habits gave me a feeling of "I can do this". Before I even saw Jared I started making it a point to eat a small meal every three hours as I had morphed into a grazer of white flour and sugar products after receiving my mother's cancer diagnosis. I knew that exercise and proper nutrition would elevate my serotonins and therefore allow me to get through this crisis with some sort of sanity. I have decided to add on some additional sessions with Jared's assistant Christine to make sure my physical activity becomes a permanent part of my new lifestyle routine.
