I had my fill of auto repair shops that overcharge. I found good reviews on Yelp and other sites about Dynamic Transmission and decided I would go to them. I am glad I did. From the moment I got there, I could see how organized the office and the work area was. The owner Jim and girl in the office were very nice, knowledgeable and honest. It turned out that I needed a radiator which Jim told me when I explained the situation. My car was done quickly and is running great.

If you own a European car, you know the repair costs can quickly get out of hand depending what shop you take it to, but luckily these guys had reasonable prices and accurate identification of what the vehicle really needed. I dropped off my BMX X3 without an appointment to the shop for inspections, new battery, and other troubles as my usual shop was booked solid. Though True Auto was also busy, they made time to accept my vehicle and take excellent care of it with great turn around time considering all the work it required. The Service Advisor Rich and Technician Bob, were very friendly and thorough in review of the issues I wanted them to address. I received a few calls to keep me updated on their findings as necessary, fair estimates of cost to discuss the work prior to them moving forward, and a good timeline to have the car finished. The cost came in under what was quoted, and I found them to be very honest and knowledgable in their work. I have no complaints, was happy with their service and pricing, and will certainly use them again in the future.

I scheduled an oil change at E-Motive Performance and Auto Repair after extensive searching and praying to God for a mechanic I could take my car to regularly. I had to change my original appointment with short notice due to the weather earlier this week and today I was like an hour late to my appointment because of poor time management on my part. When I walked into the shop, I was welcomed so kindly by Esten, who introduced himself and his partner to me. He listened to all the concerns I had about my car, then waited patiently for me to get myself together and figure out how I would wait for the work to be done. Rather than send me to the back of the line, they worked on my car right away they explained so much to me about cars when it was clear I didn't know much, Esten even called my dealership to check to see if I still had a warranty on any of my parts! He went above and beyond for me even without knowing me. He told me everything I needed once they checked my car out, gave me a list of prices including the labor charges, gave me a timeframe of when I should be replacing things and I was just literally blown away by their ability to relieve all of my concerns and give me an affordable game plan moving forward. As a woman, this type of professionalism is invaluable to me! It's just a small shop in the middle of nowhere and I got the best service I have ever had in comparison. My car is running like it's brand new and I feel confident to refer anyone else like me to these guys. This is a gem, I promise!

I'm so easy going because I have 10 years under my belt of running service centers, so I gave them 2 week notice, 1 week notice, for bringing them my truck so they don't feel rushed. Boy did it get thrown back in my face. I don't even feel like getting into most of it. They will make you feel like an annoyance if you have an issue after they fixed something. Their mechanic caused 3 separate issues on my truck after the repair. After diagnosing it all and fixing it myself in the cold with a flashlight, I went in and spoke to the manager for 20 minutes and he ended up apologizing after arguing my case with him which was kind of nice. He said he couldn't offer any sort of refund because I fixed it myself? (I had another shop verify the issues and give me a report before I fixed them). Whatever. I'm easy going. I said call me with a quote for my water pump and help me out with the cost and i'll come back anyway. I don't hold grudges it is what it is. The manager shook my hand and said of course. That was almost 2 weeks ago. No call, no quote. I called last Friday and asked for someone to call me. They said they'll call me back, no call. They will avoid you at all costs and it is very depressing because this shop was so close to my house, and after changing careers I just wanted a shop that I could pay to do all the maintenance on my truck. Shame on you.

On May 12th I dropped my car off at Wensels because my head gasket was blown. I live in the apartment complex next to the them so I just walked home. They gave me a call and said it will at least take a week and a half and that is would be between $1500-$2000. I said that's fine. A few weeks go by and I don't hear an update. I called them and they said "We are working on it" More time has passed and I still don't know what's going on with my car. I walk over and they tell me my engine needs to be replaced but they said they will get a used one, and will keep me at the original price they quoted, however it would be on the higher end of my original price quote. I made it clear I only have $2000 saved and that if they can keep it in that price range to go ahead and fix it. Months go by and I leave multiple messages asking for updates. About 4 months from the time I dropped it off until now, I finally get a call back on my voicemail September 3rd telling me my car is done but it's $2732.86. That is about $800 more than they had quoted me. Reviewing the receipt there was charges for things I didn't ask for, like they took off my perfectly good gas cap and exchanged it with a lousy one. Why do that? They didn't even connect the cap to the car but yet this is a charge they charged me for. I let them know that I do not have that money and that I only have $2000 saved. Another week goes by and they called me on September 11 to tell me that I can get my car back at $2000 but there would be no warranty. I figured it wasn't worth fighting over and this has been a mess from the start so I just agreed. Since I was at work I had someone pick up my car up for me. The first thing I noticed when I saw it, it had new scrapes, dings and scratches on the car. Very upsetting. I took it to another car shop to have it checked out since I didn't have a warranty on it. They said the back of the rotors which are metal and the wheel hub (metal) were rubbing creating a horrible sound and was dangerous to drive like that. This is costing more money and more time in a shop. Also, my front headlight was out and windshield wiper fluid tube was cut in half. This is being fixed at another shop because of how careless Wensels was. This whole experience has been a nightmare and I had to cancel many things due to not having my car back.
