I happily met Roy, and had a pleasant experience with my appointment. Was offered wine, and chatted easily! Long (and expensive) story short, my hair turned out nothing like I had expected. Both cut and colour were extremely choppy, not properly blended and I have a blonde lions mane around my face (so I can't pull it back to hide the two very different length of hair I have). I tried styling it myself, different ways to wear it... but nope. I know that this can happen, and decided not to be rash but instead to let him rectify the situation. I emailed the salon, and they said to come in for Roy to take a look at what needed to be done and we would book the appropriate appointment afterwards. I was satisfied with this response and agreed to meet at the salon today at 6:15 pm. I arrived shortly after 6, was offered water and sat and waited... and waited... At 6:45 I went to the receptionist to say I would come back another time. She offered to go check to see how long he would be. I agreed to wait. I was not prepared for what happened next... Roy came out squinting, looking around as if someone had just disturbed him. Asked, "can I help you?" I explained that I had an appointment at 6:15 to discuss my hair with him. He said, "and you're waiting?" I said, yes but I had been waiting half an hour. To which he replied, "and you have a problem with that? I'm in the middle of a session!" I said yes, that he had set the time. He then turned to reception and said, "I'm NOT doing it!" Dismissed me by waiving his arms and walked away! At this point I welled up in tears. The receptionist was kind and apologetic. Said I caught him "in a bad moment". I reminded her that he was the owner and I promptly left. If you were one of the customers sitting in the waiting area that day, you can attest to his degrading and dismissive behaviour. I am truly shocked anyone would speak to a client this way. Never mind when given the opportunity to retain business and fix a clearly bad hair cut. I couldn't leave this alone, and let his bad behaviour continue. If you are considering trying out his salon or spa, please keep this in the back of your mind. Paying $400 to be yelled at in a lobby, for a terrible hair cut was not at all what I had in mind. I was told that they wouldn't accept…read moremy Groupon because I had already used one, which would have been fine, except that I received such a cold and rude attitude at the mention of Groupon at all. If Oxygen Medi spa does not want to accept Groupon users, then they shouldn't offer on the Groupon website. When I said that I need to think about the full price facial, the lady at the front (I think Karine) rolled her eyes and was very dismissive with me. I would rather lose the money I spent on the Groupon than give this establishment my service. I will definitely be telling all of my girl friends about this and we will be taking our business elsewhere.

The #1 massage clinic in my opinion, I explained my pain to the therapist and without even having to touch me he already knew what area to focus on. I got my makeup done here for prom, and I walked out looking like a clown. My makeup looked like it…read morehad been done by a 12 year old child, and this lady told me she had been doing makeup for 15 years (or 20, I can't remember). I asked her to contour my face, and she said she couldn't because my acne would show. I have never had this problem before and it was honestly funny how she blamed her lack of skills on my face. And I realized later on she did not highlight me at all. This lady told me not to worry about how my makeup looked and to trust her... claiming things I've never heard of before such as 'I only blend all at the end' which might I add, had my eyeshadow looking like I got punched in the face. She also said that she concealed before foundation, and she didn't use different shades to highlight my under eyes. I had huge bags under my eyes, and when I asked her to fix it all she did was apply powder that did nothing. I also asked her beforehand to do eyeliner, and she told me that it would not show under my false eyelashes ? Then she said she would show me what it was before and then add come if I wanted to. That never happened, instead she drew a thick uneven line along my eyelashes to hide the glue, and it made my eyes look small and frumpy. This lady had no idea what it means to highlight the good parts of a face (contour, conceal lighter, make eyes look bigger and actual highlighter) and she did a bad job at covering my acne. I walked out looking washed out, unblended and so unflattering. It was so horrible I had to remove all of it, and redo it myself before prom. It looked 10000% better, and I am nowhere near a professional. She made me look like an absolute clown. The lady was nice but lacked technique, and she told a regular customer that she would be done in 10 seconds right before asking me how everything was. I felt pressured into saying it was fine, but when I got in the car I took a better look and saw all the things she messed up on. I regret paying 84$ for this look that honestly made me look like a run down prostitute, and the fact that the company's makeup artist was okay with sending someone off like this really reflects on the business. Absolutely horrible and I wouldn't recommend to anyone to get their makeup done here. These are photos I took less than 2 minutes after leaving. What a mess.
