And finally Peixinhos da horta, or fish of the garden. Which turns out to be tempura fried green beans. They were also very good. Mini Bar is kid friendly, and the server we had was so awesome with our kids that I can't sing his praise though. We opted for the Tasting Menu, and ordered a pizza and fries for the kids. The food arrived pretty quick, until we hit the mains, then it slowed down a bit too much for my liking. The space is pretty interesting, and there's plenty of room, so you don't feel squished in. All in all though, great experience. Happy that I got to have my meal without having to ditch my kids with a stranger in a foreign country.

Our waiter for both nights was named Diogo that was very attentive, laid back and just very cool. His professionalism made us all feel comfortable as we drank and probably were a bit loud haha! The bar owner, Miguel, was also very nice too. He kept coming around to make sure we were taken care of. This is a must stop in Lisboa if you want a great cozy bar experience. They all speak English and they take credit cards.

All the dishes were delicious and drool worthy. Seafood was very fresh and tasty. Not the cheapest meal in Portugal, but we thoroughly enjoyed it and would come back. I took photos of everything including the signature cocktail and made my social media friends look at them. This place rocks! (Literally. They have a rocking playlist and live music at night.) Both nights we had different good bottles of red Portuguese wine. Attentive service and nice atmosphere on a busy slopes street. The value you get at this restaurant was spot on and worth making our way over from home base in the Alfama. I'd love to get all poetic, but this was simply one of the highlights of our weeklong stay in Lisbon. Get it!
