Our dog Appa gets scared with new people, but Deka approached him slowly and with care. We received pictures of Appa during his appointment which we appreciated! Deka advised us about a bald spot on Appa's coat and said to spray some moisturizer on it. Overall we will definitely be coming back and experienced wonderful service.

My husband and I brought our 10lbs Shih Tzu Ginger for a first time full groom here. We are from…read moreTorrance California and she regularly gets her grooming done every 4-6 weeks. We are here for the holidays and it was her first time in Nevada so we wanted to give her a groom experience over here. I'm glad we chose this place because the hand scissor skills and experience was top tier! They actually do get spoiled. She got her photos taken during the groom and after! Her hair was very soft and she smelled so good. There were still some armpit knots afterwards but it was very minimal and hard to spot so missing it was very likely but not impossible. I know Ginger is not fond of having her under brushed so I think her groomer did not want to force it on her and prioritized her comfort which I definitely understand and would rather prefer it that way. Her overall cut was honestly very surprising to me. It was very symmetrical, detailed and polished. I can usually tell when they cut more clipper focused (from bringing her to different groomers which let me see the different styles--I'm picky) because some thigh edges get left out, some indents get visible, and it ends up being a random longer tuft of hair though in this cut there was visibly none. The hair her groomer cut (or Kandice in particular) was molded and shaped well. She nailed the round face, her legs and the start of her tail by her butt looks more flushed and it feels flowy. It's hard to explain. There was a tuft of hair by her butt before that didn't really flush the start of her tail and now it's basically cut well--I feel like I'm saying jargon at this point but you have to see/feel it in person to tell. The cut by her visor was also so admirable. It looks so straight and detailed; I'm so happy with it. I can tell she took her time, and that Ginger was comfortable enough to let her do it. I'm pretty sure it's a given with all the pictures you see here. Them taking pics of the pups before and after just shows how confident they are in the final look. I'm really satisfied with how she cut Ginger's hair! This raised my standards a lot more with hand-scissor cutting and I fear I might have to start looking again around Torrance sigh. Now, the store itself. In the morning when I dropped her off I got the strong dog odor smell when I opened the door which I'm not fond of, because her groomers at home do not have that so it's possible to mask the smell. Though when I picked her up the store smelled okay, so it might have been one of the clients, but just a heads up that it can be one or the other. The entry experience was awkward, but nothing bad. They just don't greet you until you get to the register bahaha. Their merchandise was so cute. I wish I budgeted for that, but it'll have to be for next time. The price was a little inconsistent as well because before when I called they said that it would be around $90 since the groomer I chose is $20 above the beginning price of $70, but I ended up paying for $100 and some change. I didn't mind because the matts might've been the issue and we usually pay around that price back at home, but just be prepared to bring extra. They cut really well so I had no issues paying more than I was quoted for, but some people might not be. This is where I take off a star when it's regarding the storefront and the pricing. Regardless, all-in-all great visit with some minor understandable inconveniences. They take their time with your pup, they SPOIL them. Their hand-scissor skills are very proficient, and you get cute pics of your pup depending on the season! There is no doubt when they take care of your pup. Thank you so much for taking care of our little Ginger during her vacation at Nevada. We will definitely come back if we stay here with her again next holiday when we come back to visit my husband's family. Thank you Kandice! Happy holidays!

I purchased a Yorkshire Terrier puppy from Puppy Boutique Las Vegas about a month ago. To be fair,…read morewhen we noticed at the store that the puppy was coughing and hacking, they were honest enough to admit that he did have a cough and described it as mild. Calvin was also friendly during the process and helped us get the puppy we wanted, which I appreciated. That being said, when you purchase a new puppy, especially for the amount these dogs cost, you expect the animal to be healthy, properly cared for, and ready for a new home. Unfortunately, after a month, my puppy is still coughing and hacking despite already going through 2 courses of antibiotics and 2 courses of steroids, we have been back and forth in vet clinic. Recently he also started having bowel irritation with mild blood in his stool, which has been stressful and concerning as a new owner. I do appreciate that they have communicated with my girlfriend from time to time regarding updates and concerns, and I also want to give credit to Flamingo Pet Clinic for helping care for him throughout this process. However, one thing that bothered me was that I was the one who paid for the dog in cash, yet most direct responses were not given to me and communication mainly went through my girlfriend instead. At this point, this situation will not be taken lightly. We love this puppy and are doing everything we can to help him recover, but no new owner should have to deal with ongoing medical concerns shortly after bringing home a new puppy. I truly hope he fully recovers, and I will continue updating this review depending on how things progress. If these health issues continue unresolved, I'm considering next steps regarding this situation.

Tiara is the sweetest with my pup who has had bad experiences at groomers. She talks to him the whole time with kindness to let him know she is not going to hurt him. I think my pup will warm up to her as we keep going. The shop is bright and always decorated in fun decor. All the groomers are sweet and the front desk is so nice. I am so happy to have them as a groomer now I believe the cost is perfect for the work and heart she shows.

I had made the appointment online the day before and also provided my phone number over the phone during the booking process. When we arrived the next day, they again had me write down my phone number, my name, and my dog's name on a sticky note. We were told they would call us when Honey was ready for pickup. Around 4 PM, I started wondering why I still hadn't heard anything. I didn't want to call too early because I didn't want to be a pain if she wasn't finished yet. When I finally called to check on her status, they informed me she had actually been ready since 2 PM. Apparently, they mixed up the 702 in my number with a 720. Living in Las Vegas, that mistake was honestly frustrating -- especially considering they had my correct number written on the sticky note right next to the computer, in addition to already having it from the original appointment booking. I'm also confused why another call attempt wasn't made after the first number didn't work. When we arrived, they were apologetic, which I'm not sure how you can't be when you're sitting in front of me looking at my correct written phone # on the sticky note.  Unfortunately, on the drive home, we realized Honey had feces stuck in her paws, which then got on my pants(photo provided). When we originally dropped her off, they were already cleaning up another dog's accident on the floor, but I didn't think much of it because they cleaned it quickly. I'm not sure if the dogs roam around together after grooming, but I was disappointed that she somehow ended up with dirty paws after just paying $114 for the service. Despite the frustrating ending, we genuinely loved the groomer we met with initially. I don't remember her name, but she had an Australian accent and was incredibly kind. She took the time to walk us through the grooming process and made us feel very comfortable leaving Honey there. It's just unfortunate that the rest of the experience overshadowed that positive first impression.
