Our yorkiepoo!
Jamielynn D.

Got our cute adorable yorkiepoo from Barb. Barb had changed our lives by choosing us to adopt. Pro tip: Barb is very busy and may not respond. Keep trying, she receives a lot of messages.

Charlie, our Pekapoo, turned 1 on 11/13/2023. Wonderful boy

I definitely recommend this business. Barb was amazing and available throughout the entire process. Charlie was well taken care of and socialized when he came home at 3 months. He is a loving bundle of joy who just turned one on 11/13.

My Quarantine Pup, Teddy, with his favorite thing
Barbara K.

Yes, i bought Teddy from Barb's Precious Pups, as Covid 19 was upending life as we know it. But, I also was aware of the quality of Barb's pups thru a theatre friend. My goodness, I wonder how I got so fortunate... I bought Teddy from an online video, the only white/apricot Maltipoo in a litter of three males. He is smart, playful, affectionate... everything you'd want in a dog. This will be my last dog (I'm almost 70) and I now couldn't imagine my life without him

Barb was super friendly and accommodating. She answered my many, many questions and let me FaceTime in to see the pup ahead of time. I messaged her on Facebook at first but then ended up texting her and got much quicker responses that way. I liked Barb's professionalism with paperwork and payment processing, it made me feel secure that she was legit. She even had requirements after we took the puppy home that we send pictures of poo to make sure the puppy was being feed and taken care of properly. We picked up our puppy on time and freshly bathed and ready to go. The only down side was a few days after taking our puppy home, she got parvo. There is no guarantee where she got it from, and when I messaged Barb about it she called immediately to check in, and gave advice on care. She called daily to check in from there. After a large vet bill to save our puppy, Barb offered a refund on the charge of the puppy to help with our situation. I think this shows a lot of customer service, since she was not obligated to refund us and there was no way of telling where the puppy got parvo from. Thankfully our puppy made it through the tough parvo battle and is now doing great. I think the puppy's are a big investment but am grateful for Barb's help and treatment throughout the process. That helped make it all worth it.

Tucker!!! Shorkie

We just purchased a shorkie from Barbara in Oct. the whole process was very smooth. The puppy has shots ( guys lots of vets hand write in the shots!!). He was chipped so I only had to register the chip and had a first grooming as well. He is the best baby. We have had no problems. Received shit records, received chip info and a goodie bag to get him started. We FaceTimed to see the puppy as we were not local. She sent pics at the airport. Had a plan of how to pick up the pup and payment was made thru Zelle very easily. I have asked questions since reviewing my pup and Barb is very quick to get back.!!! Love our baby and would buy more from Barb

My baby is perfect. Thank you Barb for my precious baby!!!! She's adorable. She loves her big sister Cookie.

I highly recommend Barb and her pups to anyone looking to bring a new puppy into their lives. Barb has made this entire process so much better for us! After losing our dog a couple years ago, we decided to get another one. She walked me through the entire process and answered all of my questions. It is obvious that she cares about her pups and the families they go to. She would send multiple pictures and hold video calls to check in on our puppy. Due to some flight restrictions, our pup couldn't travel via airplane. She went above and beyond to find an amazing form of transportation for us. Our puppy arrived clean, happy, and healthy. It has been a few days now, and he is just the sweetest boy. If you are considering adopting one of Barbs pups, you will not regret it. I will come to her for all my future pups. Thanks Barb

Barb was very professional and walked me through the steps to get Sport an Imperial Shih Tzu when she promised he would be available. I sent her the payments through Zelle without any hiccups. When we got Sport, he was 11 wks and already potty trained to go outside! I recommend Barb to anyone who is looking for a fur baby!

We purchased Bowbow (AKA FRODO) on Dec 12 from Barbs Precious Pups, Thursday night Bowbow threw up (obv Mannie and I thought it was normal as he was in a new place). On Sunday Dec 15 Bowbow started to throw up again (multiple times) and did not have the energy he had the last two days. The puppy slept all day and it wasn't until 5pm that I decided to take him to the Vet. Obviously the vet was close so I took the dog to an emergency vet, they said BowBow aka Frodo had Parvo. I am sitting at the Vet office furious as to how someone could have sold me a sick dog. I was so upset that I knew that I was going to break my daughters heart. Luckily I caught the parvo right on time and they gave him some antibiotic and a B12 to get him through the night until his Vet appointment Monday morning at 8am. During this entire time I am going back and forth with Barbara. She stated that she wasn't aware he was sick, she didn't have the dog tested as he didn't show signs. Parvo Symptoms take 3-10 days before they start showing signs. If they are not treated right away a dog can pass away within 48hrs. As a 'Hobby breeder' (per her home made contract) she gives you insurance for 30 days, that emergency Vet visit cost me $255. Again, the entire time that I was at the Vet I was in constant communication with her, I had purchased the dog for $600 after she wanted to sell him for $800 as he was the last from the litter. Here I am at the Vet trying to figure out what the best decision is. The vet cannot guarantee that he will survive and gave me a 60% chance of survival. All of this meant that he would be hospitalized for 5-7 days and it could cost thousands of dollars. Monday morning Barbara texted me Monday morning stating that she would give me a refund. I informed Barbara that Bowbow had a doctors appointment at 8am and we could discuss the hospital bill after. Barbara asked to call her in which she informed me that she would not pay for the hospital bill and that she could get the dog better at home for a couple hundred (As a breeder, you should be sure the dogs you are selling are healthy). At this point I have paid $255 at the emergency Vet out of pocket, the insurance that she offers stated I had to file a claim and it could take 6-8 weeks before I saw a refund. The Insurance determine that the parvo was consider a pre-existing condition and would not reimburse me the $255. I am furious that I am in this situation as it's her responsibility as a 'breeder' to sell healthy dogs, Barbara's excuse is that she didn't know, he didn't show signs and she only tests the dogs if they show sign. To make the story short, we took the dog to her and she refund me my money. She informed Mannie Pajela that that she would keep us updated and if he got better and if we still wanted him we could pick him up. Barbara texted me through the week of Dec 16 updating me on the puppy's status. I told Barbara that we would be more than happy to take the dog back once he was cleared by the vet, Barbara agreed to that. Monday, December 23,2019 Barbara texted me stating that the puppy was going to the Vet and getting cleared. Barbara calls at 9am to ask when I wanted to pick him up and that his blood work was all good to go. I contacted Barbara at 3pm to set a time for pick up, she informed me the dog was still at the vet and wouldn't be back at her house until 6:15. I texted her stating that I could pick him up at the Vet since she had errands to do. During this entire week at no point did Barbara state that I would have to pay for the dog. Keep in mind that she was going to refund me the money allow me to keep the dog as long as I took care of the hospital bill. IF SHE HAD SOLD A HEALTHY DOG WE WOULDN'T BE IN THIS SITUATION, but because she didn't want to take responsibility of having to pay for the hospital bill she asked to bring the dog for her to take care of it. There was no way I was going to pay for something that a breeder should be responsible of before selling the dogs. She was never clear or upfront and I gave her the benefit of the doubt of being an honest person. Here we are now, she is now re-selling the dog that she sold to me sick because he was 'cleared' by her Vet. I refuse to pay her 300$ for a dog that I bought sick had to take to the emergency vet pay $255 and because she feels that she reimbursed me that makes it right to want to charge again. Bowbow(Frodo) is worth the $300 but Barbara is not worth getting that money as she sold a sick dog. It is her responsibility to sell healthy puppies. All she will provide are copies of his shot record, Paper looks like homemade and home given vaccines from the feed store, which aren't always reliable or effective If dog got shots from a vet, they would have dr stamp and the vaccine stickers on the paper.

DNA TESULTS

I purchased a beautiful black and white MORKIE (Maltese and Yorkie mix) after 4 months my Vet did a DNA blood sample and we found out the he was NOT A MORKIE but a Poodle/Yorkie/Terrier Mix. I have Barbara a chance to explain but I was met with cavalier indifference. "Return the dog and I'll refund you" and "my Black Poodle must have snuck in there" if you are a licensed breeder in the state of Nevada, you are obligated to secure the animals you are breeding so that this type of incident does not occur. We never were shown pictures of the parents. We were not let inside. A dog ran out the front door into the street and Barb said that was the mother. We love our pup, we are bonded to him. However, the point is, she advertised a MORKIE which was deceitful and breeding methods unethical. I paid $1400 for this dog. I asked for a partial refund. Have contacted the BBB. Animal Control of Las Vegas and got the advice of an attorney. IF YOU PURCHASED A DOG FROM THIS LITTER "MORKIE -TORRIE BORN 3/30/2020, GET YOUR DOGS DNA CHECKED.

I purchased a Yorkshire Terrier puppy from Puppy Boutique Las Vegas about a month ago. To be fair,…read morewhen we noticed at the store that the puppy was coughing and hacking, they were honest enough to admit that he did have a cough and described it as mild. Calvin was also friendly during the process and helped us get the puppy we wanted, which I appreciated. That being said, when you purchase a new puppy, especially for the amount these dogs cost, you expect the animal to be healthy, properly cared for, and ready for a new home. Unfortunately, after a month, my puppy is still coughing and hacking despite already going through 2 courses of antibiotics and 2 courses of steroids, we have been back and forth in vet clinic. Recently he also started having bowel irritation with mild blood in his stool, which has been stressful and concerning as a new owner. I do appreciate that they have communicated with my girlfriend from time to time regarding updates and concerns, and I also want to give credit to Flamingo Pet Clinic for helping care for him throughout this process. However, one thing that bothered me was that I was the one who paid for the dog in cash, yet most direct responses were not given to me and communication mainly went through my girlfriend instead. At this point, this situation will not be taken lightly. We love this puppy and are doing everything we can to help him recover, but no new owner should have to deal with ongoing medical concerns shortly after bringing home a new puppy. I truly hope he fully recovers, and I will continue updating this review depending on how things progress. If these health issues continue unresolved, I'm considering next steps regarding this situation.
