You cant leave Spain without buying a Turron . I tried a few different versions in Barcelona and knew that this was one of the things I was taking back home for family and friends .The store has so much variety that the biggest challenge was to settle down on only a few flavors . We ended up buying mixed packs of four different flavors and single packs of the traditional as well as chocolate . They let you sample almost anything you want to and are very generous with that . The store staff was knowledgeable and gave us recommendations based on our preferences .The Turrons last a long time and mine are still going on even after a few months . The packaging was great and travelled well .

The gourmet version of turron. Comparable to prices I have seen in the US therefore although it's pricier than the "basic" turron in Spain, it was worth it to me (especially that basic turron is usually only available during Christmas which was not the season I was visiting Madrid). They have tons of flavors ranging from the classic hard and soft to cherry flavored, with chocolate, made with pistachios, made with eggyolk (and no nuts) and that with no added sugars- just to name a few. We ended up spending 91 euros buying several bars for ourselves and several family members. They gave a small cloth bag and threw in a bar of praline almond chocolatey looking turron. Would recommend if the turron prices in your country/regio. as similar to these gourmet prices, as was my case.

Samples, samples and more samples Actually I think this is very effective way of getting customers like me in the store. The first one we tried was in Madrid but whilst checking out Sagrada Familia we say this location and yes my sweet tooth came to the calling of the free samples. Apparently this is a chain of stores that is based in Lleida. they have a wide variety of flavors of torrones and our favorite is the pistachio. We bought one from the other locationa and had managed to eat it all on our way to Barcelona. To make for a short story we need restock and pick up another pistachio turrones. The product keeps well and it will travel well. It is creamy and the sweetness is just right and it would go well with your favorite cup of java any time of the day. My only regret was not buying a lot more to take home and share with friends and family. The staff is very friendly and they speak english well that I don't have to really dig deep in my spanich vocubolary. The place is clean and very inviting. So if you are in the area, stop by and pick up the flavor that fancies you the best and you won't regret it. Oh and yes pick up an extra one or two to take to your final destination.

Landmark Alert!!! My Go-To Place and favorite spot in every vacation trip to Madrid. Vicens offer the best quality Turróns with the biggest and most diverse assortment for fans of sweets & desserts like me to go wild. This place has several greeters and stations serving multiple flavor samples at all times. This last time I filled my back luggage with about 30 of them to take back to Miami. I did not get any of their liquid turrón bottles because I do not check my luggage in the airport but they offer a good variety as well. This place is big and is never empty. They do a great job keeping lines flowing and having promotions for people like me that like to buy in bulk. Located in the heart of Madrid right across el Palacio del Jamón. The average turrón is about $11.00 and they are large size and best quality. I have gone all over Spain looking for a good contender and even though I have purchased every brand I have come across with, I still haven't found a real competitor yet in terms of the whole experience. The moment you walk through Vicens door you want to leave your money in there. This review is based in many years visiting this place and having the same awesome experience. Central and convenient location. They happen to be about 2 blocks from La Mallorquina and the famous Madrid's Bear Statue in Puerta Del Sol. Making it very convenient for tourists. This store is wonderful, the turrones are delicious, the girl who served us was lovely and helped us gave us so many samples to try. We ended buying different turrones for our friends back home. My favorite was the Turrón de Baileys so creamy inside and delicious. You cannot leave Madrid without buying a turron from this store. You won't regret it. I wish they had this store in the states.

Great selection of sugar free turrones.

A staple in Spain, you must pick up your "turrones" at Vicens. These are great gifts for family and friends back home. They do tend to put on a bit of weight on your bags so keep that in mind when you're trying to decide how many to buy in the huge selection they have!

This is the biggest store in the world just opened last November at the gorgeous Paseo Del Prado in Madrid. Store is so welcoming to try all their delicacies. Inviting to try a cafe and pastries and to take a couple of boxes of turrones to go. I adored the wide selection or artisan turron My favorite is the flambed soft turron, a must to try. Dark chocolate pieces was a yummy treat after a long walk at the Paseo Museum.

Vicens is a chain- they have location in UAE too. This is the main store. And a very busy one. They specialize in nougats. They have so much variety that it's mind boggling. Everything is displayed beautifully. It's a decent size store but due to the tourists looking around, you constantly bump into others. They do try their best to make your decisions easier. There are lots of samples available- in 3 different areas. And when one sample tray gets over, they instantly bring out more, but different varieties next time. So if you stay long enough, you can sample all varieties. Prices are not cheap, but the quality is excellent.

They have amazing chocolate at a great price. They also have great samples (a little different everyday). I can see why they are popular in Spain, the quality of each product is high and you can tell that they want to make sure the food taste good as well as the appearance of the box. I bought some cookies, brittles and chocolate here and all taste amazing. Some sweeter than others but all taste amazing. If I get a chance to come back to Madrid, I would definitely come back here

I love their Torrons. There was one particular torron (Chocolate BonBon) that barely made it back to our VRBO. It was delicious and we went back for more.

It's your commercial store to get the infamous Spanish nougat. Nothing more nothing less.
