We thought everything was taken care come to find out the order was never placed, luckily we called to check, then they just told me to email- like I wasn't on the phone talking to them?- so I did- stating the dresses were paid for and to order. I again had to call back because I didn't hear back. First person I spoke with told me dresses back in Aug- 2nd week and when I questioned it- as my wedding is the first week of September- another person came on and said June? I asked a volunteer (a short blonde woman) where the men's restroom was. When I didn't understand her vague instructions the first time, she repeated the same thing in a loud, sharp, irritated voice. In the past I have also witnessed volunteers gossiping about customers, saying unkind personal things, in whispered voices they didn't think people could hear. I appreciate the hard work most of them do and the FRIENDLY ones. I just think some of these "church ladies" need to adjust their attitudes a bit. We probably won't visit here again anytime soon. Maybe it would help them to realize that many of their customers visit for PLEASURE and not out of necessity. Today's visit definitely "killed the vibe" for us.

I have an online thrift store. I spend a lot of money at thrift stores for my inventory. While shopping today, Wednesday 8-30-2023, I wanted to look at some dollhouse furniture. At the same time, a volunteer wanted to get into that very small corner. No excuse me, just a loud sigh & dirty look!! The ladies checking out were so busy gossiping about another volunteer that they could not say hello or thank you or even acknowledge I was there!! Great display of your Christian values!! I've finally found out why cotton is not being utilized in clothing much now, but the clothing details are all wrong for the petite woman styles. Such a shame, the styles make women in their 60's look older and they are not stylish either. Shift pull over linen dresses with no zippers would be washed and fluffed once then discareded, I suppose that is the plan. Such a shame. The recent linen jacket I bought the sleeves & colllar were so ugly, who would wear that?
