My recent visit to Boscov's could have been a better experience. The store is becoming…read moreincreasingly like an off-price retail store. Why must customers go upstairs for items that are on sale? These items should stay in their original sale areas. Then, to add to my unnecessary trip upstairs, signs are posted to check out with customer service. I must wait for the staff to finish ringing up purchases if I have a customer service issue. Customer service should be customer service and nothing more or less. We strongly desire to maintain the traditional department store experience with available customer service personnel whenever needed. If I wanted the off-price store experience, I would visit an off-price store. Give us back our customer service personnel and place all sale items in their respective areas.

Coming from NY State, visiting a mall where all purchases are tax free was a win. The mall itself had your typical mix of local and well known stores, and average vacancies. One level mall, for a smaller mall was clean . My two stores that are my go too are Boscvos, and Shoe Depot. Even though a smaller mall, nicely decorated for Christmas. Boscvos selection was phenomenal, recently remodeled modern store. Shoe Depot was able to find a pair of running sneakers. Service was different then I was used too, but pleased with my purchase and would visit the mall again, if visiting area.

She wasn't wearing a uniform or any identifying items so I disregarded her and thought she was a regular customer. When I passed her to go into the changing rooms she spoke with an awful attitude and gave demands. Definitely not worth my time to go again.

First, we're told they only take trendy items, yet none of my friends American Eagle jeans, Aeropostale jeans, or Hollister clothing was 'trendy' enough for them? Also on that note, I've gone into this particular store multiple times to shop and have seen plenty of SHEIN clothing (which, begs to question what they consider 'trendy' lol). And, as for them telling us they couldn't take clothing with stains (nothing I saw in my bag had stains), I have also seen many articles of clothing in that store with stains or holes. And, personally, I don't see the big deal if they're small/not noticeable. But, the issue I have is when you deny my clothes but accept others with the same 'problems.' And, finally, how are you going to tell me you aren't taking 'fall clothing' at the moment when my bag had multiple bathing suits, shorts, and t-shirts? I just don't get it and, like I mentioned before, there has only ever been on instance which they have ever accepted something I try to sell (and that's after trying more than five times over the years). For a thrift store, I just don't understand the misleading and confusing stipulations smh.

Dover, Delaware store…read more I was looking for a pair of boots that are out of stock in MOST of the stores in the US, so I checked this store's inventory. Perla looked very hard to find the boot based on my description only since I didn't have the item # or SKU. To my surprise, Perla found the boot and went above and beyond by offering to transfer the boot from Delaware to my local store, and Tom (Delaware store manager) was EXTREMELY AND INCREDIBLY helpful in making sure that the boots arrived in only a few days. This store's customer service is on the level of Chick-Fil-A...I give it five stars!!! Thanks EVERYONE, especially Tom, Perla , and the Kansas District Manager who cooperated with the Delaware store!
