I recently went to return a pair of shoes and the girl working the front counter (Deajia - or something like that) looked at the shoes (with tags - brand new, never worn, still in box) and STILL had to call a coworker to see if I could return them because there was some 'dirt' on the sole; this has to be from me trying them on in their store becausd I never wore them after purchasing. I found the same pair online and found I'd paid too much. My advice to management - train your employees properly and teach them some customer service...especially Diajia (again, I know I am butchering the spelling). She was emotionless and inconsiderate. I was going to look around to see if anything caught my eye, but after experiencing the customer service - never again; I left without looking. I went somewhere else. Got my refund after confrontation. I would steer my family and friends away from this place.

They have it split in two where they have "self check out" on one side and "cashier" on the other side. They had two self check out registers and two registers with cashiers all in one straight line. When I got in line the "cashier" side had people waiting in it and the self check out had none so I went in that line. After waiting a while and more people got in the cashier line I was still waiting for a self check out. When a cashier became available and I tried to walk to them I was informed by the self check out police that worked there that I was in the self check out line so I was not allowed to go to the cashier. I had to let other people who were waiting for less time than me go first. Terrible customer service on Kohls end to be doing that. I won't be back.

Dover, Delaware store…read more I was looking for a pair of boots that are out of stock in MOST of the stores in the US, so I checked this store's inventory. Perla looked very hard to find the boot based on my description only since I didn't have the item # or SKU. To my surprise, Perla found the boot and went above and beyond by offering to transfer the boot from Delaware to my local store, and Tom (Delaware store manager) was EXTREMELY AND INCREDIBLY helpful in making sure that the boots arrived in only a few days. This store's customer service is on the level of Chick-Fil-A...I give it five stars!!!
