I do not feel she is warm and friendly and many times I have walked past this store and not gone in when I see her there, she comes across cold and better than others. The staff were really knowledgeable and patient with us as we took over 45 minutes to decide on the 13 different pieces. Due to the pandemic we haven't shop as much. At the register they carefully checked for items that should be for sale for us and ordered a different size for a jacket to be shipped directly to San Francisco. They recommend several pieces that we normally wouldn't have picked out and this was really a godsend since we have a shop for a while and were in a time crunch . Highly recommend this place due to the friendly service and the professional knowledge they have.

The store itself is gorgeous and spacious, so you can avoid the fight-over-the-rack that can happen at similar boutiques. I thought the selection was a shockingly good range of prices and had a great assortment. A few items actually surprised me at their price-- I think the store has a really keen eye and doesn't stock clothes that are cheaper, just those that are awesome and happen to be less expensive. Super nice manager, Kara. I'm visiting Charlottesville and she gave me an awesome perspective on what it's like to live here but did not at all make me feel pressured to purchase. Selection included some French Connection, seven jeans, Hudson jeans, Paige jeans, and a ton of gorgeous brands that I had never heard of. That's what cool about this place: I knew it was curated and unlikely that someone else would have the exact same outfit. They also have a small shoe section but I steered away- too dangerous. They also have jewelry but it was kind of similar to a Francesca style, which isn't my steez. If I'm back in the area, I will definitely return!

My daughter often says the staff is better than other shops because they treat teens like adults. Was yelled at sarcastically to "have a nice day" by a catty worker (really a child) cause I guess she thought I was shop lifting because I was taking too long browsing. Not sure what incentive she would have to do that. It's not as if this is a profit sharing establishment and I can't imagine she could afford anything at this store on a minimum wage salary. Must be poor management that models this behavior for their hive of catty associates. To be clear, I'm not complaining outright about the prices. I know those are set at a corporate level. I've bought things from Anthropologie before, so it's not sour grapes. But I would expect that prices would be accompanied with good service. And why are there so many people working here to begin with if no one is going to help you?
