Went to this location to take my mother shopping. First of all the good thing about this location was the cashier (Rayvin) she was sweet and nice ! But everyone else they were horrible my mother and I felt uncomfortable! They gave us a vibe where they didn't want to help along with a rude attitude. Never again will I go here !!! I have tried time & time again to give this store a chance but its an epic fail every single time. The associates are just not nice. Popped in last night wanting to buy a few things for the sale but walked out empty handed. The girl who was manning the fitting room didn't even greet-mind you it wasn't busy at all. No how may I help you? Do you need a fitting room or anything. She basically looked at me as if I had shit all over me. This store is dirty and completely disorganized. The dressing rooms were dirty and disgusting. Limited selection. Product was not worth the price tag. There were two people at the front helping one lady with 8 kids and no one even acknowledged that I was in the store during the whole 20 minutes I was there. This is the absolute worst Torrid and I am never shopping there again. They rarely have anything good anymore and the ladies behind the cash registers are not helpful at all. They have lost a customer for life. If I could give zero stars, I would. The quality of their clothes is so bad they wear out after 1 use and if you try to return something because of the poor quality they won't accept it because of the poor quality. Idk why this torrid has so many bad reviews. I do understand that the employees are not as interactive. But I am happy about that, I'm a shy person so I prefer to shop on my own without being bothered. The employees I did talk to were very friendly and fast. Got me into the dressing room quick and the fans in there are such a plus. The only thing I would recommend is that they sweep the fitting rooms throughout the day they tend to get very dirty. read more

This is the closest location to me but I might just go out of my way to avoid coming back to this torrid . The store was pretty well organized , but when I was looking for a pair of shoes that had a display pair and that were fairly new the girl just said oh I don't know they are all in boxes when I asked if she could get my size , then couldn't be bothered to I guess go through said boxes . At check out the two girls behind the counter carried out a whole conversation before acknowledging me waiting to check out and even when I placed my clothes on the counter . I am assuming they read the reviews because i thankfully had a better experience. Right upon entering the store i received a warm welcome. It was nice and tidy and i did notice one worker had been non stop cleaning. I had two different workers help me throughout that visit and they were very kind and helpful. read more

Love this location I used to shop the one inside Parks mall but they moved over here they have everything you need for plus-size clothes are such good quality and last forever! The staff is really friendly and helpful yes the prices are kind of high but they're always having really amazing sales. I love the new location is in the highlands because there's lots of other friends stores and good stuff to eat the only complaint I have with Torrid right now and I know it's not the store's fault it's the manufacturers is that their leggings used to be really really good and now they just fall apart after the second or third time you wear them :( read more

Nice employees but VERY deceiving. You shop their sky high prices and get cash to spend at a later date. It sounds great until you get to the checkout. All of the sale signs inside don't apply when you are spending the Haute cash that you earned. With all of their hidden rules, the cash is useless. Very disappointing. Done with Torrid. read more

Poor Online Support Bought 3 items for my wife. The jacket and shirt shipped together, once it came it was torn open 1st off and 2nd it was yoga pants. Called online support and talked to Connor and he said the jacket was out of stock and he would re ship the shirt. I was like How is it out when my order for 1 was shipped somewhere else. Had to jump thru hoops to find the jacket locally at Torrid. Finally found oneat Grapevine Mills thanks to Anna at Arlington location and had to drive 20 minutes to get it. Then waited a week, got the shoes and they were ok...but no shirt. I call online support and they said the shirt was out of stock..I was like why didnt I get some sort of courtesy call..All she could do was apologize and refund my money. Had to drive a half hour 1 way to find the shirt in Alliance Tx, thanks to Amanda at Grapevine Mills..I am very saddened by the lack thereof with this situation..Oh and at the end of finding the shirt I ended up paying more for it because the special I had originally purchased it for was over. Wont recommend Torrid to friends at this time. read more
