My kids have bad experience with one of Pediatric assistance who is caucasian. They have been…read morehaving same time appoints for a few years and each of them would have the same assistance for each appointment. For the past few cleaning appointments, my older kid have been complaining about how painful it is for the cleaning. In the mean time, my younger kid has never had any complain with the asian assistance. I have been given the staff the benefit of doubt since I know my kid isn't doing good job of brushing, could just have sensitive gum. After two of those visits, I started to pay more attention to the assistance. She seems very serious every time we see her. My explanation for her is that she might just be tired since we always have late afternoon time. In the mean time, I told my boy to do better brush and floss before next visit so I can be sure that he wasn't the issue. The last visit, my younger kid had the Caucasian and older boy had the Asian. I was with my younger kid first. In the middle of cleaning, my younger kid asked the Caucasian, "Can you please be gentler?", She responded "I can't, I have to get the cleaning done!" . I was still on her side at this point with a little shock on her response. The dentist confirmed the my younger one had a little swollen gums. Then dentist and I went to see my older one. Not surprise that my older kid has the same issue. The surprise was so he does not complain about the process. He confirmed later with me that the Asian assistance was tender and merciful. The final feedback from my kids are they would rather to break up the time to wait for Asian assistance to do cleaning for both!

After a cleaning of only half of my mouth the first visit they advised me I needed a crown and a filling. So I had to come back to get that done and get the other side of my mouth cleaned also. So I went back bc they said it was gonna take about 2 hours to fit me for a crown and do the filling. I had no problem with that. The problem was when they gave me a temporary crown piece to wear until my real one comes in. Once they put it in and secured it with cement it popped out of my mouth on my way home. So I had to return the next day for them to place it back in. 20 minutes later it came out again! i had not eaten or drank anything both times. I was livid at this point. So I called the office immediately and they said they would call me back. I had to end up calling them back before going home for the day. So i made two trips to them in one day. So when I got home finally it came out yet again. So i had to call them yet again and they told me to get some cement wax from Walgreens myself and put it back in. They are not in on Fridays which also sucks. It should never cause this much trouble to do a crown.

It seems like this clinic nickels and dimes. Their work isn't that great of quality, and they push…read moreunnecessary, or more expensive procedures. They twice told me I needed a crown instead of fillings. I got one of the crowns done, and then switched insurance to a very expensive one so on Jan 1st I'd be able to get the other one done. (They were not happy I wanted to wait a month and a half to get a crown). I saw a new dentist in January and he said I just needed a deep filling, and looked over my X-rays and said I never needed the first crown. They upsold me on a laser gum treatment and told me insurance would cover it.... It covered $40? I paid the remaining $150 out of pocket. I also got a bill from them 7 months post service saying insurance didn't cover something. When I looked at my insurance, it was denied for failure to submit the claim in a timely fashion. It took 3 phone calls before I finally said: "it looks like it was denied because it wasn't submitted by your staff on time, is that what you're seeing on your end" and magically the bill disappeared. Great personalities, terrible people, terrible treatment.
