I purchased flowers from Toronto Bulk Flowers as the primary decor for a milestone birthday brunch. We provided our own vases and used the lovely flowers from TBF. They were very responsive and helped me with the selection and order. When their supplier didn't deliver enough of one of the types of flowers, TBF called me right away and rectified the issue graciously. The flowers are now a week old and still looking full and fresh. Very happy with Toronto Bulk Flowers. read more

They offered peonies on their website and they let me know they do not have them 4 days before the wedding, they offered me playa Blanca roses instead, I have not received my refund of the difference. The playa Blanca roses were not fresh, a lot of the petals were brown. Also I ordered supplies that I later cancelled with anticipation and they have not given me my money back. I do not recommend this business. read more

I was very disappointed with my experience. I called a week before placing my order to ask if the flowers I wanted would be available, and I was told they were. I then placed my order two days before pickup. However, when I arrived, only one type of flower from my order was available, and those flowers were already dry the next day. What upset me the most was the lack of communication. Nobody contacted me beforehand to let me know the flowers were unavailable. I drove over 30 minutes to pick up flowers that were completely different from what I ordered and not in the best condition. Although I was able to substitute them with other flowers, the quality and overall experience did not meet my expectations. read more

After my wedding, this is the email I sent Toronto Bulk Flowers (for a $600 order) that I NEVER GOT A REPLY FOR: I received two phone calls on the day of delivery letting me know that what I ordered would not be able to be fulfilled due to lack of stock and quality. On the day of delivery, I realized the condition of the flowers/greenery was horrendous but just had to work with what I was given as frankly, there was no time for me to be reaching out and speaking with customer service about the quality of flowers since it was 1.5 days before my wedding. 1. I received the first phone call on the day of delivery letting me know that the mini green carnations I had ordered may not be fulfilled. I was flexible and said as long as they were replaced with something else, this would be ok because I understand that this can happen. 2. I received a second phone call on the day of delivery essentially warning me about the poor quality of the Salal leaves. I spoke with Sugar on the phone and she told me that one bunch of the Salal leaves were "not very good" but could be used and that the other bunch was fine. I tried to be flexible again and said that I did not want anything that was poor quality and to please replace them with something else. Sugar said that I would be given extra flowers/greenery to make up for the inconvenience.  We discussed that it was very important to have different greenery because my event was in a day and a half. When the phone call ended, my understanding was that I would not be receiving two bunches of Salal leaves, but would be given more of another greenery to offset the poor quality. I received the flowers and greenery and was instantly disappointed to find that I was given a full bunch of Salal leaves that were rotting and completely unusable. The second bunch was not great quality either, as there were black spots on the leaves. Upon prepping the flowers, I learned that the quantity I ordered was not even met. Not to mention, many of the flowers were browning. I needed to find a backup plan the day before my wedding and this led to me driving around to different florists. Order 6 bunches of spray roses for my daughter's baby shower a month in advance in 3 colours. Day before pick up I was advised that they did not have e one of the colours available and I agreed to have them substitute regular roses in the dame colour. I picked up from their Markham warehouse. Go around the back because there is nowhere to park at the front entrance. There is also no signage at the back door. I was worried that the spray roses did not look fresh. I was reassured they were fresh (they weren't). According to their website you should pick up 3 days prior to your event which we did. We took off all the outer petals as instructed and had them cut and set up in fresh water and plant food as instructed. Luckily things came together for the event. However the spray roses all wilted a day after the event. So we got to enjoy them for less than a week. The roses I agreed to take as a replacement are still holding on. I'd never order the sprays roses again. The service was ok but I did feel they purposely misrepresented the freshness of the spray roses. Spent a lot of money and not sure we would do this again. Value was 'meh'... read more

Flowers are NOT fresh. Buyer beware! They offered to refund the price of one flower for $1.84.

I had an unfortunate experience ordering flowers for my wedding from this company in bulk, specifically freesias and hydrangeas. All 30 hydrangeas were CRAMMED into one small box, which resulted in misshapen flowers (they were not round, but linear, and did not improve the next day) with folded, damaged petals, and brown discoloration from the decay. Freesias' flower petals were bruised, damaged, some over ripen (done blooming), top stems broken, overall pitiful to look at. I obviously could not use most of these flowers, and my wedding was the next day. I went though a lot of trouble looking for flowers on such a short notice from another company. Very upsetting, very stressful as you can imagine right before the wedding. I reached out to Toronto Bulk Flowers with pictures, requesting to at least reimburse me for the broken flowers. Here are some parts of Sara's reply: "We sell flowers as is. The flowers were packaged by the supplier, in an efficient way that does not damage the flowers. Unfortunately, we will not be able to refund your order." Too bad I can't upload pictures here to show you how "undamaged" the flowers were. Obviously, this company doesn't care if this is a once-in-a-lifetime event that is taking place. All they care for is to get their money from you, who cares about customer satisfaction! Do NOT order! read more

My friend was getting married in Toronto and a group of us purchased her wedding flowers from Toronto Bulk Flowers at a very affordable wholesale price and designed her wedding flowers ourselves. The options were amazing and the flowers were very fresh. This flower shop also offered great wedding floral packages too, but we wanted to design our friend's wedding flowers as a DIY project that was gifted to her. read more

AVOID AT ANY COST ! ! ! ----- Toronto Bulk Flowers is a RIP-OFF. With the understanding that florists can not reproduce ex-ac-tly the bouquets advertised online, they still must respect and provide some similarity to the selection by the customer. We paid $125 CAD for Mother's Day and chose a wedding centerpiece purely because of the bright colors in it: 90% RED-ORANGE-PINK. The online bouquet had families of poppies, chrysanthemums, hydrangeas and roses. ----- Please note that we spoke with "Ellie" on the phone before buying. We asked about size, how different or similar the final result would be from the online picture, what flowers would be included. ------ "Ellie" assured us that she could offer a bouquet "as bright" as what we saw, but it would not be exactly the same (understandably). ----- What we got had a lot of WHITE, a lot of carnations and yellow tulips, only three red roses. ----- Very deceiving ! ! ! But worse is when we called "Ellie" again at 416-568-8009. Once she understood that we weren't happy, she started screaming, talking over us like a total bully, repeating, I NEVER REFUND, I NEVER DO THAT ! ? @ # ! ----- Then total silence, because she hung up on us. Terrible experience. She screamed so loud that our phone had to be kept at a distance. We were never able to finish a sentence and to say that we wanted only a "partial" refund. ----- How's that for INSULTING the customer's trust? How's that for ACCOUNTABILITY? How's that for GREEDINESS? ----- The answer: "Ellie" is an excellent representation of BULLYING and RAPACITY (too bad that we can't post the "before" and "after" pics here). read more

I had a excellent experience with Toronto Bulk Flowers. I'm actually baffled by one of the reviews because as its clearly states on their website: you are buying the flowers directly from the farm aka wholesale packaging. I got my flowers on my delivery date as arranged. I had to remove my flowers (roses, hydrangea and lusianthus) from the packaging. Prep the flowers (clean and dip them) which is a MUST so that the flowers that are packaged for long transit times bounce back to their pretty state from the prepping, and then use my flowers. My flowers were fresh and in excellent quality and the service was excellent. Can't believe the ignorance of the other reviewer. If you have no experience then why would you DYI your own flowers for a wedding?! How do you think flowers are shipped from Ecuador and Colombia, in buckets? Obviously not. I'm so glad I gave them a chance and I absolutely recommend them! read more
