He even found a dead animal in the crawl space of the house! Brave man to say the least. I also was not present due to my work schedule, but had my realtor present with Tom. Lastly, Tom takes Zelle as his main form of payment. I understand it may prove as a challenge for some but I don't normally carry cash. Unauthorized Early Arrival: He showed up 48 minutes before the contractually scheduled inspection window without notice or permission, completely violating our privacy.Aggressive & Disrespectful Behavior: When confronted about his early arrival, he became immediately hostile, rude, and deeply disrespectful to my wife. His belligerent attitude was entirely uncalled for and created a highly uncomfortable situation in our own home. Civil Trespass: When explicitly asked to leave the property due to his hostile demeanor, he refused a lawful order from the homeowner to vacate the premises and stayed anyway. Compromised Home Security: To make matters worse, after he finally finished, he left multiple windows completely unlocked, leaving our home entirely unsecured. When this severe breach of ethics was reported to his trade association, InterNACHI, leadership dismissed the behavior, claiming homeowners "cannot revoke permission" once a contract is signed. This is legally false in the state of California, where property rights remain with the deed holder.This individual is a security risk, a liability, and completely unprofessional. I would point out my concerns to him during inspection and he would just brush it away. Sewer inspection? It was impacted so he couldn't get the scope in. Wayne clearly said he can come back after seller hydrojet the impacted pipe. My realtor and I both heard him saying that. After the hydrojet was done, I called Wayne to have him come back to finish his job. He said "no, the sewer inspection was already done. If I come out, I will have to charge you again". You charged me $240 for less than 5 min job? That didn't even view the pipes? Lol Attic inspection? He didn't even go up the attic. Rather he would just take a pics while standing on the ladder, and said it was inspected lol. I had the attic inspected again by other professionals and was told that there were rodent droppings everywhere. I texted Wayne about the rodent findings and his response was "It will not be included in a home inspectors report. Because we are not licensed to identify that". YOU COULD HAVE INFORMED ME!!!! That is ur fucking job as an inspector!!!! Also He's just BS-ing about this issue because he didn't see the droppings. Why? Because he didn't even set a foot up in the attic. How do I know this? Because there are droppings literally right next to the attic entrance. The quote I got for cleaning the attic and getting rid of the rodents was $6,800. If he had mentioned it to me, I could've asked for credits from the sellers. My realtor called Wayne multiple times regarding this matter, but Wayne is keep avoiding our phone calls. Why would you avoid our phone calls if you didn't do anything wrong?
