Absolute hands-down the best cherry pie!…read more Two summers ago, we stopped here while passing through on vacation, and I bought a slice of their traditional cherry pie. It was the best cherry pie I've ever had. My husband--who normally despises cherries--reluctantly trusted me enough to try a bite... and then kept coming back for more. Fast forward to this summer: we were driving down US-31 when I spotted the sign and immediately made my husband do a U-turn because I recognized "the cherry pie place!" This time, we bought a whole crumble-top cherry pie, and our family happily devoured it over the next couple of days. My husband still says it's the only cherry pie he's ever had that doesn't taste like cherry cough syrup. Fresh Michigan cherries really are something special. We'll be making this a tradition every time we're in the area!
