Wine Flight was enjoyable with scenic views. Great place to relax with friends!

Excellent wine choices, scenic views, great find while visiting Torch lake. Nice place to spend the afternoon with friends. We will return in the future!

Charming little winery that offers a limited, but very good, choice of ciders and wines. We lean toward being wine snobs and we really liked the boca noir (sweet) as well as the zweigelt (dry). The peach and black cherry cider was also really good. Some of the best we had in the area. It's a fun place with a gorgeous view, corn hole, and a hole in one game that rewards you with a free bottle of wine (we watched for quite awhile and no one won-- it looked pretty tough). If you're looking for a nice place to taste wine or cider, you will enjoy this cute little spot.

Beautiful views of the area and great wine and ciders. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a golf game set up out back which was fun to watch. Not a game for kids tho! Note- hours are listed wrong on yelp. During the summer they are open till 9 every night except sunday.

The views here are stunning! A truly must stop just to take it in.  They built a fantastic tasting room with lots of stone and polished wood put together in a regular style yet with artsy touches. They charge $6 for 6 tastes. Neither of us liked their wines, but their cider varieties are outstanding. Johnny Cider and Sangria being my two favorites. The only real issue is they are so small they can't bottle their ciders, so you have to drink it within 7 days from a howler before it goes bad. This prevents you from buying multiple varieties or even multiple of the same one for a later day. Hopefully everyone will find this gem and help it grow big enough to be able to bottle their ciders. The service was excellent. Overall a 5 star review. I would definitely return and make sure you check out the 2nd floor viewing area.

My husband and I always stop into Torch Lake Cellars when we are in Bellaire. There is an excellent selection of wine and they even have cider now! We have been very impressed with both the wine and cider and it seems like every time we stop in there is something new to try! The vineyard and winery are absolutely beautiful! We bought a post and even get a discount now as well! The staff is very social and friendly. We always try to stock up before we head back to IL. IF you are in the area I highly recommend stopping in. You will not be disappointed!

Beautiful view, we had a blast evening, Best wine tasting I highly recommended and the option to play golf amazing.

Best time ever, beautiful views, excellent costumer service, highly recommended. My favorite wine pretty pink.

Love the individual and comfortable feel of this winery. Chad and his colleagues have started something wonderful here in this northern Michigan area. Off the beaten path by Clam Lake, tucked away in the trees.... sitting upon a hilltop, we enjoyed a wonderful Sangria.

We didn't have one cider we disliked, the view was spectacular, the setting was idyllic, and the service was on point.

First, there are two peninsulas off of Traverse City. Both are dotted with wineries, and this is…read morenot a one-off thing. This area has a Sonoma vibe. Old Mission Peninsula is the much smaller one, and it's plenty big enough. Bowers Harbor Vineyards offered exactly what we were looking for. Great wines, very friendly staff, and a beautiful outdoor space to enjoy it. They have snacks available that are kind of pitiful-- convenience store packages of hummus, pretzels, etc-- but you're not going for that. And they do the job to accompany the wine tasting. So whatever. They were very accomodating with letting us mix red and whites on a shared flight. We ended up buying a couple of bottles of a wonderful, dry and minerally chardonnay. Very relaxed and not at all intimidating for people like us who are not usually doing the wine thing. There were families with dogs and kids, and everyone seemed pretty chill. But of course we hightailed it out of there when the first bachelorette party arrived. I don't know why Traverse City became a hotbed of bachelorette parties, but it has, and you'll have to suffer through that wherever you go.
