This program is amazing! Our friend recommended this program when my son had a hard time passing…read morehis junior lifeguard swim test. We came here needing to shave off about 40 seconds in his swim time for the test and he was able to do it after just one week in this program! The coaches are so caring and approachable, and they really work on giving feedback on all aspects of swimming. I could see an improvement every time we showed up to the pool. I cannot recommend this program enough, thank you to all the coaches for helping my son pass his test! We couldn't have done it without you!

We feel truly blessed to have found Lakewood Aquatics. My daughter was born with brachial plexus…read morepalsy in her left arm--a birth injury that limits her mobility and causes significant nerve pain. She began swimming at just three months old, as it has always been an essential part of her rehabilitation and strength-building. After taking a year and a half break to focus on school, my daughter--now 11--was hesitant to return to swimming. She felt self-conscious about her reduced speed and stamina. We tried several swim clubs, but none provided an environment where she felt comfortable or supported. That changed the moment we found Lakewood Aquatics. From the start, Son has been instrumental in rebuilding her confidence, ensuring she felt comfortable in the water again, and connecting her with the right coaches. In just one month, we've seen tremendous improvement--not only in her swimming ability but also in her confidence and love for the sport. She now looks forward to every practice and gives it her all. The additional practice opportunities, the thoughtful pairing with other swimmers, and the exceptional level of personalized attention she receives have made an incredible difference. The care, professionalism, and dedication of the entire staff have far exceeded our expectations. We already feel like part of the Lakewood Aquatics family, and it's only been a month! I cannot recommend this program enough--for its safe, encouraging atmosphere, highly qualified and compassionate staff, and the individualized attention given to each swimmer. Lakewood Aquatics has truly changed my daughter's life--both physically and emotionally. We are beyond grateful. Thank you, Lakewood Aquatics, and a heartfelt thank you to Son for your extraordinary support and care.

PlayPie - Indoor play space

We love this place and how spacious it is. My son loves checking out their books and their video…read moreroom where the kiddos can play video games or games from the projector. Definitely worth going back because when you're all done and exhausted, eating in the food court upstairs was delicious!

Just from visiting this spot a couple times on separate occasions, I would definitely consider this…read morethe best indoor spot I have ever seen for a toddler. It's quite spacious and there are just such a variety of activities for kids, from playing in a ball pit, to stacking random foam blocks, to playing in an area filled with random electronic entertainment (like mario kart and coloring fish), to actual play area with slides and padded obstacles. Even after seeing some of the lower reviews, I still think it is relatively clean considering the amount of traffic the weekend or evening may bring. I didn't really see anything that was broken or not working, and even when the mario kart system bugged out and was on a default screen, a staff member quickly did a reset and got it back into working order within 10 minutes or so. A consideration to be made is the fact that not all the parents are attentive with their kids, so there were definitely some kids that are just disrupting other kids playing or being obnoxious/rude. It's inevitable but also makes it feel like some parents literally just let their kids do whatever with little supervision, knowing that they are within the indoor playground. For example, my 1 year old was sitting on the padded carousel, and an older kid (at least 6 y.o.) jumped into the middle of the carousel and started dancing around wildly, which would've been fine until he almost fell on top of my much smaller child. It should also be noted that the area was marked for 2 y.o. or younger, but there's pretty much no enforcement of the space. Otherwise, it's a really cool spot for kids to burn a few hours and I still think it's remarkable that they fit so many different things to do in the same area.
