I arrive with my daughter who has never played any type of organized sports. There's three teenage girls in charge of the session. Kids were supposed to be split in groups of experience that wasn't done. From what I saw my child was the only beginner that day. They lined the girls up and started stretching. My daughter clearly needed help on how to do the stretching. No one moved to help her.One of the girls smirked at my child. Clueless and helpless my daughter began to cry. So rather than losing my temper I took my daughter and went home. I tried communicating with Torand via email and by phone and I left messages explaining my daughter's experience. No one has returned my call.I wanted to know if they had sessions with more mature and more attentive staff. I was ignored. Wanted to tell my story simply because not everyone's experience is great. My child was traumatized so know I have to find a group of coaches who want to build up my daughter. Not destroy her..

The season started with tryouts and all parents (from what we noticed) received one on one time with the coaching staff. I assume so we could all get to know the staff and start to open lines of communication. Micha also shared his expectations for this team so that all parents could know what we were getting our families into. Back office stuff was smooth. Brittany was on top of payments and merch that we asked for. Calendars, uniforms and group chats were all communicated without prompting by us. Interpersonal dynamics between girls was positive and pleasant. Coaching and goal setting was set from the beginning, as a parent I appreciated this as our goals aligned. During practice and tournaments the coaching staff was always professional and coached the players with development in mind. U14 is almost done. Our youngest has started recreational classes and is currently on her first year in team. We love being in Majestic. Both our girls loved gymnastics and their coaches. Our eldest comes back once in a while to see her old team mates and to practice with her coaches. The coaches are very open with communicating with us and truly care about their students. There were some changes made in the gym with viewing but since the beginning, team viewing was always limited as to give all the parents a chance to view their kids during practice because of limited sitting prior to the expansion. Also, as previous athlete, we all know, parents can be distracting at times so I do think limited viewing is not a big deal. As a mom, I am also 100% in support of having the changing areas away from the hallway. I believe this was a great move that the girls have their own isolated area away where they can change and get ready without parents and strangers waiting on them after class. All in all, as a parent, a team sport only works if you as a parent, are willing to work well with the coaches and your kids. Majestic is amazing, we have made great friends out here!

I have never denied entering the back area. I went in to assist my distressed daughter while the lights were on and families were departing the gym. When I entered, I did not yell, I simply asked what was happening. Coach E response was hostile and he incorrectly claimed that I blamed him for her missing attire, which I never said. He pointed his finger in my face and yelled at me repeatedly. Despite my requests for him to stop and asking his wife to help de-escalate the situation, no one intervened. I only raised my voice after this treatment and things escalated. I was then ordered to leave, which I was already doing as soon as my daughter gathered all her belongings. There were far better ways to communicate with me, explain the situation, or ask me to return to the lobby. Furthermore, the video footage you mention does not disprove my account of events. Characterizing my presence as aggressive, threatening, or harassing is inaccurate, and why I expressed my belief that the situation would have been handled with much more respect if I were of another race. Instead, inquiring about my daughter's well being, I was labeled aggressive. Additionally, your note of the police presence who did not intervene contradicts the claim that I posed a threat; if I had, you would have approached them or they would have intervened. Finally, your account of the incident remains inconsistent. You initially claimed that I blocked traffic, but later stated that I blocked the coach's path which was on the sidewalk. Disputing my review with these shifting inaccuracies only highlights the flaws in your own response. This experience was embarrassing and disheartening for both my daughter (who's heart broken) and I. It is imperative for all parties involved to be honest, respectful, and take accountability for their role in this unfortunate event.
