They have a splash pad which is super awesome, lots of trees and lots of grass. The play equipment is on sand which is hardly ever seen anymore. There are two basketball courts and during the summer they put up a volleyball net and provide balls as well. They have outdoor connect four and they provide chalk as well. There is so many things for the kids to do here and plenty of swings which kids love! It's located in an industrial part of Whittier but it's not too noisy at all. I would Definitely recommend you go here and I will definitely be coming back soon.

It is a small park located just off Excelsior Drive. They keep the field locked up so you can't use it for a family softball game unless you are willing to climb the fence. There is also a small t-ball field that doesn't have a fence surrounding it. There is only one basketball court and two handball courts. There is a small open grass area where you see people sometimes have a small pick-up soccer game. There is a recently renovated playground for the little kids and a recreation center with a room/patio that can be rented out. The main problem with this park is it just seems "dead"...you don't see young kids or families hanging out having fun...there is usually more adults there hanging out that look a bit sketchy like they are there because they don't have anywhere else to go and are possibly homeless, unemployed, and you will see people hanging out on benches in the shade of the trees smoking weed and getting their drink on...more a hangout for losers than families in my opinion.

Attended a pre-4th of July celebration with my family…read more This annual event draws thousands of visitors for a fun-filled day of food booths, food trucks, live music, vendors, giant TVs showing sporting events, gift giveaways, and a fireworks display that lasts over 20 minutes at 9:00 pm This year, the celebration was especially meaningful as we marked the USA's 250th birthday with a military plane flyover. It was truly awesome, and the crowd's response as the planes flew overhead showed how united we all felt. Whittier Police officers and a private security company provided high-visibility security to ensure everyone felt safe. Great job! The organizers did a FANTASTIC job -- the event was well organized, fun, and very well attended.

I've had my first birthday here & now I'm a mom of 2 who loves bringing my children here for all activities. This park is the definition of nostalgic.
