The store does everything it can to keep prices down, so you're renting your shopping cart with a quarter (which gets returned when you bring the cart back), and you're packing your own groceries. The other shoppers are generally so pleased to be saving money, they look out for one another. More than once I've gotten a "free" shopping cart, with instructions to, "pay it forward". The store is clean, simple, and easy to navigate. Also, very inexpensive. For example, a corned beef package that was $40 at Tops a mile away was $7 here.

This BJs store is fine- the only thing that makes it possibly stand out for me is that people may be friendlier because it is in a smaller community and it's not as congested as BJs closer to bigger cities. This particular one has a gas station with it which tends to be reasonably priced for the area, but the prices here have never wowed me when I visited.
