I stopped here yesterday with a friend before leaving Olean. We each only needed a few things but after reading another Yelper's review, I wish I would've grabbed a few donuts. Like a different Yelper stated, it is a perfectly sized grocery store. I liked their setup. It's like a cross between a large Savealot and a small Tops. The staff were nice and friendly. They had enough cashiers open. They weren't too busy and we were able to get in and out in a quick manner. If I'm back in Olean, I'll definitely stop here again, for whatever I might need. (I'll definitely get a few donuts and a few candies that are at the registers that you can only find at Vidler's, like mint Aero bars!!!) read more

There is no place like Ried's for donuts; at least in my opinion. Truthfully though, if I remember correctly, their pizza, subs & wings are good, as well. I no longer live in the area but while back home for a visit, donuts from Ried's are a must! It is probably a good thing that I cannot find a place near me with donuts this great! Best Deli around, by far! Great food, friendly and helpful workers. Highly recommend.

Everything in the store it set up nice, and their deli and bakery are amazing however many types of food are over priced. I shopped at four different grocery stories in one month (a different store each week) getting pretty much the same groceries at each and I spent the most at Reid's Food Barn. read more

The perfect sized grocery store. Great deli and handmade subs, excellent produce. I can get in and out in a reasonable amount of time, there is always a staff person to speak with and the registers are never overcrowded. Missing some high end delicacies and their breads could be better but it's my favorite grocery store. read more

Shopping in the store isn't bad. It's the deli that has a big problem. Sanitation is poor. Dust everywhere. Lettuce gets set out on the counter while subs are being made. I never see hand washing or changing of gloves. They use the same gloves to answer the phone write orders cut meat. Then make your sub with the same gloves. ( never change them) read more
