This weekend, I got my first (used) kayak! Thrilled that everyone who works here knows about the products they sell and is eager to help others start an activity or upgrade. Very impressed by their willingness to buy back items so you can upgrade to the next best thing. And you can test out all the boats and boards on the wee pond out back. I would pay a bit more for this kind of service but actually spent less than the big box. Love love love supporting a small business! Was crazy busy so we had to be patient but no biggie. I bought my first pair of boots from them six years ago and haven't needed to come back! My sister gave me a gift card and they didn't have anything in stock that I wanted so they let me browse their vendor catalogs. I ended up getting a pair of Cobb hill boots and my goodness have they held up! I've had to change out the laces, and the heel is starting to wear down but they still look great and professional for winter office wear! Mind you I wore these almost everyday some seasons with a .75 mile walk each way into the office from my parking lot. I'm just amazed by the quality of product that they have in stock. I've never had a pair of dress boots last like that! So because of my great experience we went again to look for shoes for my husband while we were back in the area visiting family (we now live about an hour away). Unfortunately they didn't have a great selection of dress shoes for men, so we didn't end up getting anything. We would have opted to order again but since we lived far away and it would have required us to drive back another day, we didn't. I almost got another pair of boots though (even though I don't need them). The only thing that's odd is how they sit down next to your feet while you try on the boots... oh well.

Manager tonight, Nov 25 was rude. Brought one defective Chrismas light string back (wouldn't…read morelight) in exchange for another. Went home and only half of that string would light. Half to wounder if they will burn my house down. Brought back box, string and paperwork with receipt and she would not give money back. She said they can not resell. I should hope not . The only thing missing was the wire tie. What kind of treatment is this. I'm local so I spend a lot of money here. Maybe I should 're think this. If my house burns down because of these defective lights I will hold this store and her responsible. It's no wonder they were on sale ( 70 string red or blue, 2 for 3 dollars).

I contacted Michele via email in hopes that she could assist with working on a Jewelry Badge for my Girl Scouts troop. She called me the next day and we made a plan. Her work area is amazing, everything is in its place and she really takes pride in making old things new. Our girls spent an hour and a half in the studio and really enjoyed the experience.
