Just a heads up for anyone with sensitive ears. This is the second time I've ended up with this cashier. I've nicknamed her Swearing Sue because she will drop at least four damnits before I get cashed out. Not under her breath she swears full force. I thought it was funny at first. She is too weak to lift a bag of apples without dropping them back into the cart so I end up with bruised apples. I know it's my fault I should have gone to self checkout but I was too lazy. But let's be honest we all have sucky jobs that we hate but that doesn't mean you should take it out on the groceries. I shop here often because I can walk to it. That is the only reason. Everyone who works in this store acts like they are miserable all the time. At 9:00pm all the registers shut down and only self serve checkout is open. If you are doing any kind of REAL shopping, you will be bagging your entire cart yourself and using the floor to put your full bags of groceries when you check out. Once I came shopping after the kids went to bed and had $300 in groceries that they made me self checkout. Management was there and saw me and didn't even offer to bring another cart for me to put my bags into. The layout of the store is not rational. Some snacks and beer are in the front of the store, then some snacks like Pringles, Combos, and Chex mix are at the back of the pop aisle at the back of the store. I swear nothing is ever in the same place 2 days in a row. My son loves the Tops brand Buffalo wing flavored chips. Sometimes they have them, sometimes they don't. And when they don't, there is not even a place on the shelf for them, making me think they don't carry them anymore. Speaking of shelves, the Tops brand chips are in a different place every time I come in for them, so I have to walk the entire store to see if they are an end cap somewhere. Overall I just find shopping here miserable. I leave angry every time I go. But again, I can walk there so I come often for milk, water bottles, snacks if I have company coming over.... and I like the shopping carts. :o) read more

i'm constantly being followed and harassed treated like a thief the shop there for over six years and had nothing but problems but when I called corporate, I was told maybe I could find another place to shop luxury transportation because I don't drive disabled. I at least 3 to 4 times a week after my purchase is paid for, my things are scavenged too, and the buckets that are given for free where there's a sign next to it that says take they look to them. Explain to me that I'd be amazed what people can fit to them. I explain to him accusing me of stealing then why go to your cameras , and show me why I am being watched followed I feel harassment. I disabled again, and I also shop for my disabled father. as I'm using their store phone to get money put on my card to finish paying for my order. My bags are being searched again and I was asked why I got the buckets from when I explained they were free. She laughed and said she begged to differ with me, she got strawberries and I didn't pay for them. She was the one who was helping me with my order would make sense if I was I wouldn't have anybody help me with anything. I figure it out, but she insisted that I was stealing just by her actions I explained her I wasn't even finished paying for my food and then I did wick after words I asked to speak with the manager she claims she was then the manager came up to me and asked me what was going on. I explained to him that this was something that continued to happen and that she was searching to my bags. I explained to him that I was being accused of stealing buckets that they were given to me by top and he said yes, they were. I agree she walked away no apology. No nothing the manager that was on yesterday. Apologize to me. how do I finish paying for my order? I walked out in tears, I was shaking my anxiety was high. I had some chocolate in my car purchased at the dollar store which I had to receipt with me. I always do if I shop at another store before I go to Tops because I know how they are waiting, which I wasn't comfortable with her handling. I explain that didn't feel good and I haven't eaten so I was nibbling on it as I was shopping. The manager said I'm not worried about that to her. I don't understand what he was worried about I told him if you feel him stealing they call the police check your cameras show me prove to me they couldn't because there's no proof no reason. Why would spend two to $300 shopping to steal anything first of all not thief never stole anything but definitely wouldn't be worth it to me. I'm tired of it being treated. There's no respect for me when I'm shopping for my family with my money. And I will contact corporate, and if nothing is done this time I will. File a law. Suit! I will refuse to be treated in this manner and be harassed each and every time I'm there I will not shop anywhere else. I love the atmosphere inside tops markets, I love the curbside service.Most of the time they have a wide selection, however, they are often times out of things. The tops that I go to has the best bakery. Their breads and donuts are very fresh. I also love their meats. The frozen foods can be a little higher in price sometimes, but the rest outweighs that. read more

Everytime I shop here I come home missing something. Also I am very upset that these cashiers don't inform you some items you are purchasing have coupons in their weekly ad. Sometimes I forget to grab an ad when I come in so I let the cashier know there may be a coupon for a certain item and they tell me "don't worry I can swipe a coupon for you"..Sure enough I get home, look at my receipt and they didn't take the coupon off! Terrible cashiers in that store. They certainly don't look out for their customers. Some of them also seem to have memory loss. I need to keep reminding them that i asked them to double bag my heavy items. Double check your product for freshness and be sure to check expiration dates I say this because I failed to do so at the store and ended up throwing out some expired and moldy items a couple days after purchasing them. read more

Very poor customer service. I only go to tops to cash my check & its still a hassle. The employees look like their not happy to be at work & it shows in their end result. read more
