She brought several small tastings of different beers before we each made a selection; I love when bars do this so you are not wasting your money on a drink you do not care for. One of them we ordered had a cauliflower crust because of some food allergies and it was great! If they can made cauliflower crust that good it puts them ahead of other places, as that is very hard to do and do well. Our bartender did a great job of taking care of us even though we were not sitting at the bar. I returned about a week later with my grandkids; again the pizza was great. Then crust was crispy and light and the topping were generous. The service seemed a little slow but overall we still had a good experience. The owner demonstrated an outstanding level of professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine commitment to ensuring a positive customer experience. Their ability to engage with guests in a warm yet efficient manner is a true reflection of strong leadership and sets an exemplary standard for the team. In addition to the remarkable service, the pizza itself exceeded expectations on every level. The quality of the ingredients, attention to preparation, and overall presentation were all indicative of a kitchen that takes great pride in its craft. Each aspect of the meal was executed with consistency and care that is not always easily found. It is experiences such as this one that foster customer loyalty and reinforce confidence in an establishment. I have no hesitation in recommending this location and hope that both the manager and culinary team receive the recognition they rightfully deserve. read more

I recently had the pleasure of visiting TOPPS Pizza, conveniently located near the local Walmart. This place serves truly exceptional pizza, easily earning a spot among the top five I've ever tasted. While it's challenging to crown a definitive favorite, as comparing all at once isn't feasible, TOPPS Pizza stands out impressively. Having enjoyed renowned pizzas from places like Mellow Mushroom and Grateful Head, which top my list, I can confidently place TOPPS Pizza in the same esteemed category. Situated right here in Tyler, it's a gem of a find. In short, the pizza at TOPPS is outstanding. It's a culinary delight that surpasses any other pizza offerings in Tyler, making it a must-try for locals and visitors alike. read more

Topp's Pizza is hands-down one of the best pizza spots I've ever been to! This locally owned gem serves up phenomenal, high-quality pizza that absolutely delivers on flavor. We ordered the Double Pepperoni pizza, and it was nothing short of amazing--perfectly crispy crust, generous amounts of delicious, zesty pepperoni, and just the right balance of cheese and sauce. Even though it's takeout only, it's well worth the stop. The prices are fantastic, and we devoured every last bite. If you're in Tyler and love great pizza, Topp's is a must-try! Went there today after a rough day at work and the staff just turned my day around. Especially Josh! I ordered a supreme pizza with no sausage. No SAUSAGE. Pretty standard order I think. I even told the story about how sausage gave me food poisoning a long time ago from Godfathers pizza so I haven't eaten it since. Somehow this got translated into no SAUCE. I overheard them talking in the kitchen about 'no sauce', so I interrupted them to tell them I wanted SAUCE, just didn't want SAUSAGE. This seemed to irritate the kitchen staff and I even heard them say that they had confirmed with me it was no sauce so the order wasn't wrong. I was wrong. Okeeeee...They weren't happy about re-firing another pizza but said they would. The pizza finally came out after a bit of a wait (again), and it still had no sauce. It was not hot. The veggies weren't cooked. The cheese wasn't melted. It had no sausage, but also had no SAUCE. I even initially ordered a side of marinara when I placed the order, so it was pretty obvious I wanted sauce by this point. Sigh. So the pizza finally comes out... incorrect. Surprise. Ok whatever. I'll eat it cuz I'm starving at this point and there's no sense trying again, but they didn't bring my extra marinara and they totally forgot about my husbands meatball sub he had ordered. More waiting now for his sub. I don't know who the sauce police are at this place, but his meatball sub was seriously lacking sauce as well. I mean...is it like invisible ink that disappears after a minute?? Or was that a big middle finger for the pizza ordeal? I don't know and I don't really care. Bottom line - when you own a pizza place, USE SAUCE!! And when your salad is the only thing that's good on your menu, you might reconsider your menu and ingredients. Overall, bad first impression. Bad enough that we will probably not go back. So sad that there aren't any amazing pizza places near us. What have we done by moving here??? No good pizza and no good fried chicken. Ugh.
