Not all roofing companies have your best interest in mind. As a matter of fact, some like High…read morePoint Roofing have proven they are more interested in getting a new roof and commission rather than an honest assessment of an existing roof. My house was on the market, and the buyer wanted a roof inspection and called High Point Roofing. I had no problem with the inspection and personally have over 40 years of construction experience. The report came back that there was one missing shingle, exposed nail heads on the ridge vent, rubber cracking on pipe vent, two popped nails on garage section, discoloration on front slop shingles and some granular loss as found in guttering (these repairs were simple and would take no more than one hour to repair). This 23-year-old roof expert concluded that the 30-year architectural shingle that was approximately 23 years old only had a "maximum of 1-2 Years Left of Life" and that the roof needed replaced (Notice the caps used to demand attention and generate fear). In all of my years of dealing with inspectors I have never had one offer such a precise life expectancy, only High Point Roofing. Needled to Say the Buyer wanted a new $20,000.00 roof at the Sellers expense. I'm perfectly fine with fixing problems when necessary and needed. In this case it was an egregious attempt to put on new roof that wasn't necessary. I called Antony Regalbuto one of the owners, about his inspector and report. He reported key problems that are often indicators of a roof in decline that an inspector would identify. He noted specifically that often such roofs have fiberglass exposed and bubbling shingles which can include moisture problems and/or poor ventilation in the attic. I agreed with him that both were indicators of a bad roof. I then asked Anthony, if his 23-year-old roof inspector identified in his report such failures and he was silent. He was silent because they didn't exist. In the end Anthony protected his employee. I'm sure Anthony will dispute my report and if so I have written documentation in hand to corroborate my statement. I also have a few billboards that I can offer caution and direct potential customers to another roofing company. I'm very disappointed with the High Point Roofing and a young man that tried for a big commission on my dime. I did not identify the young man intentionally as I hope he learns a lesson from this experience Clark Struebing

They came out to give me an estimate and once I'd said we wanted them to do the siding, they put me on the schedule. They came out when they said they were going to, they did good work. They took all the old siding away. While they were looking at the siding, they told me they could also do work on our porch (which was in AWFUL shape). I said tell me what your estimate is and I might be able to afford to get some work done. They came back with a reasonable price for refurbishing our porch and they completed it in about a week. I LOVE my porch now. It is safe and BEAUTIFUL. I highly recommend Potomac Roofers and Builders.

I finally, actually, made the right choice, for a change! If you've had any of these concerns in the past, about what company to hire to do your job, you can just dismiss all these worries, if you just hire P.J. Roofing company. An incredible company with great, conscientious, serious, skilled employees in their work and work ethic. They recently replaced my old guttering, and did significant repair work on the siding at the back of my house. A representative of P.J. Roofing, Daniel, came out to my home and presented me with multiple options for new guttering, including color, size, and filtration systems to prevent my gutters from getting clogged, and subsequently having rain water, deluges of waterfalls in fact, spilling over my old guttering, that were previously encumbered with Gutter Helmet, which did not do what it was advertised to do. He also identified, understood my concerns, and recommended a solution to the problem, that I had recently been made aware of, with the old siding on a small portion at the back of my house. I am forever grateful for making the right choice in hiring P.J. Roofing. If I was going to have my roof redone, I would certainly hire them again in a nanosecond to do that work. I had their employees coming out after the guttering and siding work were completed, to ensure everything was done right, looked right, and to ensure that I was pleased with what they had done. A kudos and shout out to Donnie, and his son Nick, and Donnie's wife; to Miguel and Elvis; to Edward and Gilbert, all whom I cannot praise highly enough, for their tireless and conscientious work what they have done for me, in restoring and providing better protection for my home. P.J Roofing is the epitome of old time business excellence, and whoever is the owner of this company, had the wisdom and good fortune to have hired such excellent employees, all who exhibited such a high caliber of work ethic.
