We did a major renovation: a primary bedroom and bathroom addition, a full kitchen remodel, a full bathroom remodel, and updates throughout the rest of our home. Traci was referred by our general contractor, and while my husband was initially skeptical about hiring a designer, he quickly became a believer. By the end, he said it was one of the smartest choices we made.
Traci's talent goes far beyond traditional interior design. She created all our floor plan options and brought thoughtful space planning and design insight to every part of the project. She guided us through countless decisions, big and small, always offering a clear point of view while empowering us to make the final calls. Her ability to explain the "why" behind each option, and her wealth of experience, made every choice easier and more informed.
Another bonus was that Traci had worked with our general contractor many times before, and their seamless communication made things so much smoother. I never had to be the go-between--they handled things fluidly, and I always felt informed and supported.
We were working within a tight budget, but Traci helped us make decisions that stayed within our means without compromising on quality or style. The final result looks and feels beautiful -nothing about it says "budget-conscious," even though we were.
Traci was also an incredible advocate for us during the process. She's meticulous, communicative, and unafraid to speak up when something's not right. There were a few instances where I would have let things slide just to avoid being a burden, but Traci held vendors and trades accountable and made sure things were done properly. She doesn't expect perfection (she understands the realities of construction) but she absolutely demands quality and follows through to make sure the vision is executed.
Even after the project wrapped, she stayed involved, helping us source budget-friendly window coverings, following up on small details with vendors, and making sure every last thing felt complete. It's clear she genuinely cares, not just about the project, but about her clients.
We've now touched every surface in our home, so we don't have any more projects on the horizon, but if we did, there's no question - we'd work with Traci again in a heartbeat. I recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a thoughtful, talented, and truly dedicated designer. She's simply AMAZING.
