In April, 2018, after doing extensive research on developers, I came to BitCot with an idea. During my initial meeting, BitCot's owner, Raj Sanghvi made me feel completely at ease and, as I explained my idea to him, I could already see the wheels turning in his head. By the end of the meeting, Raj had transformed my idea into something more than I could have ever imagined. Within the week, I signed an agreement with BitCot for initial design and development. Within the next two weeks, BitCot provided me with sample design screenshots. Over the next two months, BitCot maintained, at least, weekly contact to update me on progress, asked for my input, and provided me with test versions of my app. After a little more than two months, I had a professionally-designed and developed app available in the Apple store with the android version and accompanying website following shortly thereafter. I was initially cautious about approaching a company to act as my developer (as opposed to a freelance developer). I was afraid that, by hiring a company, I would be charged more and would be unable to provide personal input during the development process. With BitCot, all such fears were alleviated. Raj made me a part of the process at nearly every step and listened to the input that I had and implemented it if appropriate. While development is not an inexpensive process, I believe, with BitCot, I obtained a fair deal with a company that cares about whether the final product is functional, professional, and sustainable. I was also initially cautious about hiring a company with some of its workforce operating in other parts of the world, believing communication or efficiency may be an impediment to progress. This was not the case with BitCot. While you may receive emails from Raj at 2:00 a.m. because he is busy working with the team at that time, I did not encounter any drawbacks from using a company that utilizes both an onsite and offshore workforce. To the contrary, I believe that I received a quality product at a fair price because I did not allow my initial apprehension to stop me from doing business with BitCot. Before approaching BitCot, I engaged in extensive research into website and app developers. My research revealed that several nationally-based companies could probably handle my project as well as, possibly, some local freelance developers who may or may not be able to fit my project into their schedules.
