I had Samuel to build a webpage for my business. In the beginning this all being new, I understood that he would build my webpage, I would pay him to do so but the webpage was mine was I paid for the website. He also built my email address, which I did not understand that he would have complete control over both. After while once I slowed down on the business work and I was not using him or have not talked to Sam at this point for over 6 to 7 months, he sent me a bill that I did not understand that I needed to pay. Because I did not pay him he completely shutdown my email address and my webpage after I paid him over $750 dollars to build my page. My concerns is that his integrity to shutdown something I paid him to build shows me this guys does not deserve anyone's business. He took from me the access of something that I paid him for. A true professional would have just took his name off of controlling anything from that point not take away something that I paid him for. I would not recommend him to no one I know ow here. I was referred to these guys by their sister company, and I have to say I'm BLOWN AWAY by them. I was very scared to get a website for my business (financial advisor) as I've never had one before, and they walked me through it, teaching me how it's just normal business transferred onto screens. They got it done within about a week, and at first it wasn't quite what I wanted so they redid it to my specifications. I was able to preview the website before paying the deposit which I was very happy with and haven't seen elsewhere. After the website was completed I worked with their design team and had business cards done that matched the style of the website. They turned out looking FANTASTIC! My boss needed a website made ASAP, so we ended up using this company because the price was right, and they sounded like they could deliver on time. It ended up going great! After they were finished my boss asked them to put in some "flashy" extra stuff (animations, transitions, etc) and they didn't charge her anything to do it, because they said it was still part of the job. I think that's nice that they don't nickel and dime their customers. My boss also asked that the mobile site look pretty different, and they did a great job on that as well. If I ever need a job done in the future I'll probably be coming back to this company. I was pretty skeptical at first. It looked like one of those "too good to be true" situation because the price was really competitive and the service seemed impeccable. They ended up living up to their reputation by far. We started out by having a cup of coffee and talking about other sites I liked so that they could get an idea of what kind of site I wanted (because I didn't really know to be honest). Within a couple of days they gave me a wireframe and a flowchart so that I could see what the people going to the site would see, without the actual design parts. Overall it was an exciting process seeing a website built from the ground up, it felt like having a house built! I'm pretty picky when it comes to my websites, and I don't settle for anything less than the best. I fired my last two internet designers because they simply couldn't get the job done and keep in contact with me. They can say I'm picky all they want, but in the end I'm the client, aren't I? :P What really got me was when I talked to these people on the phone, they told me that a lot of their clients have had negative experiences with other designers, and they said that they wanted to be flexible. There's a lot of purchases that the average person has to make that are simply terrible experiences. One of those is getting a website made. I've used firms from other states and countries because I thought that I would get good value, but the final product always ended up terrible and it always cost more than they said it would. I made the decision to do the right thing and use a firm in my area that has a great portfolio. I talked with a lot of companies and ended up using this one because they seemed a bit different. They've obviously got this down to a science as the flow was pretty good and they kept in communication the entire time (which most don't). Isaac and Sam did such a great job and our on-site conversion rate immediately went up about 30% (about a third of our sales are on our site), which means about an extra $15,000 a year for our business in profits. I needed a website made for my dropshipping business, and I didn't want a template that just looked like every other site. I sat down with these guys and they helped me figure out the kind of website I wanted. Within a week they made me a fully functional site that was exactly what I wanted. Then I realized that what I wanted wasn't what I expected I would want, so I wasn't too happy with the final product. They didn't care, and remade the site from scratch to fit my standards. They charge by the job instead of by the hour, which impressed me as this was a lot more work than they quoted, but ate the cost anyways. I've already gotten a lot of compliments on the design, and even a few copycats (mockery IS the best form of flattery). Before any commitment on my side, Sam put together a home page after meeting with him to discuss what I liked and did not like about my existing website. It shows confidence when a company will actually put work into something to earn your business. I'm not a very good judge of sites, but my friend is. While the site was being made I kept sending the updates to my friend and he kept telling me the same thing over and over again: you're getting a great bargain! I've definitely gotten some compliments on the site as well, from associates and customers alike. If I need a site in the future I'll definitely be coming back to this company because they really listened to what I had to say, and actually cared about the end result. Also they were pretty flexible about payment, which made me trust them quite a bit (which is a hard thing to earn when you're dealing with me I'll admit). I got burned by some company in India for my first website, and less than a year later the site simply didn't work and there was no way to edit the Wordpress. When I started looking for a new web designer I was EXTREMELY skeptical of everyone I came in contact with. A friend told me to use Straight Line and it turned out to be a great recommendation! The job ended up being a bit more complex than originally described, and they worked tirelessly to make sure that I got EXACTLY what I wanted. At the beginning I sent them a mockup of what I wanted and the final product looks just like it! Plus it's a well made Wordpress theme so I can easily edit it whenever I want.
