In the month of March 2024, we came to Top Golf because it was a birthday celebration that we had going on to one of our good friends. When we arrived at the facility, I loved that there was plenty of parking, a safe area and the entrance to the business was nice. This place had 3 floors that included bars, and plenty of sitting area. Once we purchased tickets for the golfing, we were a party of SIX, we had a blast. You can order appetizers & drinks and practice golfing. We had such a wonderful time. It is kind of scary when you are golfing 15 feet up in the air. You are trying to get the golf ball in one of the pucks they have. It's cool. We had lots of fun. Our Waitress was awesome, and we will be back. Wow how much fun was that! What a view too! Party of 6 on the 3rd floor. We girls are not golfers so we really were not expecting to have fun. Glad the guys insisted, we had drinks, a few Appitizers and two hours of hitting balls out into the wild blue yonder... and some that were putted into the red targets It was a hot day and I was super impressed that we were shaded and kept cool with a nice breeze. We had our company Christmas party at Top Golf in Pompano Beach for about 115 people. Ironing out the details could have been overwhelming, but their staff patiently answered our questions and accommodated us very well. The atmosphere was relaxed and festive. The food was delicious. Our experience was just okay. The golf part was good.....And that's why we went. But the service and food left much to be desired. It took forever to get drinks and food. And the food was average at best. Much of it came out cold - like the chicken tenders and tots. I ordered 3 kids chicken bites and I got 3 regular chicken strips - from the adult menu for double the price. I didn't realize until the check came. And the order was for 3 kids. The tenders were burnt but came out cold. I thought the chips and guacamole and pretzel bites were good. No refills offered on drinks. It's hard to get someone to come over if you want to order something. When I ordered another order of pretzel bites - it took about 30 minutes to come out. Our reservation was at 4:30 and it was NOT busy. Further not all bays have sofa seating. We had a table with 6 chairs even though - 8 people can be in a bay. One plus - the bathrooms were clean! If you're going for golf - it's fun but expensive. Don't go for food and drinks and expect to wait a while to get service. Oh and one more plus - they offer 10% off the price of the bay (this was $149 for us) for teachers and health care workers so bring your ID. read more

We had such a fun time at Top golf!! All the adults and kids had a great time playing the games, and having some friendly competition. The place was clean, the staff was friendly and attentive. The TopGolf in Pompano Beach was amazing! It was so good that my group and I went twice during our stay! The food was amazing! You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The food came out very quickly too. We really liked the pretzel bites, and the mac-n-cheese bites. The service was great too. The staff was always around if we had any questions, and were very nice. I would recommend going to this place if you are actually interested in golf. It is a little pricey so if you are looking for a place to just have fun and not really golf I wouldn't recommend it. The service is good, the ambiance is great too, I had so much fun. Would not recommend to eat here, I had the margherita flatbread and it tasted like frozen pizza that was put in the oven. read more

Beware of making online reservations, I was charged $30 to reserve a bay thinking that it would apply towards the check, apparently it's just a $30 fee and does not go towards anything. (I've never heard of having to pay to make a reservation before// they're definitely nickel and diming people as if $57/hr isn't enough) I paid for 2 hrs of play and 30 minutes before closing they shut the music off practically kicking us out; our server was in such a rush to leave and collect dishes that she left my friends food order sitting at the window for about 20 minutes and then brings it out cold after reminding her, she puts it on the table and says 9 minutes left ( in other words inhale your food and leave) I was so excited to see this place opening as it's much closer to me than the other locations, but after this first time visit, I won't be back. read more

I am more of a "in the moment" type of person and express my thoughts in person however i feel the need to write this today. 1st time at this location, Pomp Top Golf. Very friendly staff from the front desk to the lounge area. We had to go on a waitlist for about 20mins, seemed as they were short staffed- which is the norm during off season. Once we got "buzzed" for our bay we headed downstairs, greeted by an amazing young girl Kahylie. I can not say enough about her, from her big smile to her presence she literally won us over. We will definitely be back to enjoy her hospitality soon. Need more people in the industry like Kahylie to have that energy and go out of the way to make the guests feel special. Top Golf was a really fun golfing experience even for someone who doesn't golf. There are some other activities there too and food. The place has many other different games that all align with golfing. There are three levels of height to gold From and a variety of golf clubs overall, I would recommend even to someone who never played. read more

The Place has three levels each with a bar area for drinks from coffee to alcohol and food. The first floor has huge TV Screens that can be seen from the second floor bar area. There is a great food menu and drink menu. Note it pays to join TopGolf membership for $5 befits get deals for joining. It pays to download the APP on your phone to make reservations. You must arrive 15 to 20 minutes early to make sure you get your golf bay. Carl who was our Able Host was great, he took great care of us. Ash our Tee Line Host who sets everyone up and explains the rules and how game was helpful. The prices all depend on the day and time you are playing. The weekend is expensive so if you could go during the week that would be a better choice. There is plenty of parking so no worries about getting a spot. All and all, look forward to going back with friends or family. read more

Top Golf is an awful experience and I would not recommend or come back. Why? 1) Dual pricing: On top that it is expensive already to book a bay for a couple of hours, you are forced to pay an additional useless membership for all guests IF you want your name on the screens while playing a game. NOO, I do not want my guests to have memberships. I want to pay for the bay, which is already way expensive for what it is, and add as many of my guest to the screen so we can compete. Simple!!!! 2) Tips: To my incredible surprise, they added a 20% tip on top of the total amount of the final check, meaning, they were asking to pay an additional tip tax on the bay cost, the sales tax, and the $15 booking fee!!!! Really? I corrected the final check to add 20% to the server in cash (he was awesome) on the drinks amount only - not on the amount that accounted for the bay reservation. 3) Drinks: they were awful!! For changing $20 for an Old Fashion, I expected top notch ingredients!!! Instead, I barely got a bourbon shot over ice!!! Awful. I could go on but why waste more time. Not coming back. I rather go a to real driving range and bring a cooler!! read more

For being relatively new, we were surprised to see it not be the cleanliest. They were out of chips therefore we couldn't order a bunch of appetizers. They were out of soft pretzel bites, and we couldn't order the turkey avocado wrap because they were out of that. For as much as you pay, don't eat there. Giving it a 2 because my son and I were told there was a 15 minute wait and waited for an hour before leaving. I did go up and ask about our wait a couple times and was told it wouldn't be long. I did get a text an hour and a half later that our bay was ready. We had already left. I don't mind people being off on the wait but 15 min vs an hour and a half is really bad. They did call to see if I still wanted the bay and I said we had to leave because the wait was way to long. No "sorry", just "okay, bye". I came with my friends to reunite on a Saturday to this new top golf location our first waitress by the name of Francesca she was amazing! Very inviting and friendly which made us come back but the next time we came we got Sarah and unfortunately she left a sour taste in our mouth and I hope we never get her again because in my opinion she's not fit for a customer service. She made inappropriate comments to my boyfriend and when our time was almost over we pressed for a few balls (which our time wasn't over yet) and she went and kicked them all away in front of us. Very disappointing experience with her but I won't take that out on the establishment i just definitely won't want her service again. read more

We held a wedding rehearsal dinner here and had a TERRIFIC experience. We had to plan and prepare for the event as out of towners, and the staff was helpful in answering questions and navigating the details. When the event date arrived, they were easy to work with on the set up and attentive in the service from start to finish. The staff was fun, friendly, and helpful. The food received rave reviews from the attendees, no small thing given the range of appetites and preferences in the room. When game time arrived, the golf pro and staff helped everyone get started, which was really important given the number of first-timers on the deck. Lots of laughter, lots of joy. One of the older folks in the group told us that it was the first rehearsal dinner she'd ever attended where the guys all felt included. ;-) Golfers and non-golfers alike had a blast.
