We had a large group, taking over ten golf stalls. When we walked in charcuterie boards were on the tables with bottles of beers in buckets of ice. That was really nice, since we had been at a hot outdoor event all day. Topgolf is fun. We like the game Angry Birds. You try to knock down a wooden structure on the screen by hitting your ball in the right spot. Or you can choose to hit the ball as far as you can into the ground targets. Afterward, a buffet table was set up with hot foods and salad. For dessert, donut holes were presented with syringes of jellies to choose and squirt into your ball. This was really nice. First time at a top golf. We were in the upper level which was awesome. Loved it. Even the restaurant and food were good.

Never, ever hold an event here that requires using their event menu. It is the most overpriced in my memory. The first clue was walking up; The smell of fried food permeates the air like a hot July afternoon at the county fair. Be aware that the promotional material says "Chef Crafted Menu" not Chef Crafted Food. In our case the "sliders" were cheap mini-burgers in a room temperature chafing dish, with a tray of cold, dry mini buns with a few pieces of lettuce, tomato (nicely ripened actually) and some mini slices of what appeared to be processed cheese decomposing on another cheap serving platter. The sliced pickles were unremarkable. The mustard and ketchup were nowhere to be found, until I asked staff and they pointed to them, several yards away, on a coffee table in the middle of the playing area. The other "hot" choice was deep fried chicken nuggets, rapidly congealing in the tepid evening air. I think you would need lab tests to determine how long before serving they were fried, of how long they were frozen before that. I think the inside was actual chicken, and not chicken and filler, but I'm not sure. There was a bowl of dipping sauce. A communal bowl, of dipping sauce. Purchased in bulk, from Cisco, I can't imagine everything together cost more than the charge for a single guest. In my opinion you could go to the Dollar Store and buy potted meat product and generic white bread and get the same nutritional value and more flavor and character than what Top Golf provides. For the most part we all just took turns hitting balls. The screens that give stats were cool, but otherwise we could have been at a driving range. Throw in a food truck or some local pizza and you would have easily topped the Top Golf Experience. I have to add, my group was there as guests of one of our gracious investors, who couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Also, I've heard very good things about Top Golf Tampa, who will allow you to rent several bays and still order off the menu. This rant is directly at the person responsible padding the profits buy insisting large groups eat Dollar Store food at Seasons 52 prices. read more

The golf bays are located on three different levels, so there is plenty of space for a lot of patrons. You can also have food and drinks in the bar or restaurant area. We decided to get the wing trio, which allows you to choose three different wing flavors. We chose the buffalo, garlic parmesan, and Asian sesame. All three tasted great. We also ordered the macaroni and cheese bites, which are fried balls of macaroni and cheese. They were delicious. The service was pretty quick. We did a standard 2 hour session and had a blast with our son and his friend as they are in town for Sunday's Jags game. It is easy to prepay online. They send you a reminder and at your designated time send you your bay number. This all worked as advertised and we were at our bay on time. The bay had been cleaned before we arrived. Our server, Deon, promptly came over and got our drink orders. We also ordered a couple of appetizers and later ordered a couple of meals to share. Deon was super friendly and took care of everything. I had the Frozen C'old Fashioned and my wife had the Trop' Fruit Mai Tai. Both drinks were fresh and mixed well with great flavors. We ordered some Signature Nachos and Cheesy Macaroni Bites. Both dishes had good flavor and were just enough to share. Later we shared a Smokehouse Burger and a BBQ Brisket Flatbread. The burger was well cooked. The flatbread had good flavor but the only negative would be that most of the meat was fatty which shouldn't happen with a good brisket. Totally unhappy. Had family in from out of town, booked a reservation for the day after Xmas 11am 4 days in advance, gave credit card and have been there several times in last few year. As I went thru on line reservation process I received a "Confirmation Number" you think ur golden....NOT.....I get their with my crew and they tell me, we see ur activity but don't see ur reservation (and I am there 10 min early) they said,"do u have email" what, I have confirmation #, they said....no that is just confirmation of ur cell number....WHAT.... how do I know there is an email to follow, there is nothing on screen telling me that....and what did that'll say att 11am.....we are booked till 930pm, aka though S....t. He was quick and efficient even with our crazy party and demands ( food and beer orders) he kept up lol. The bar is nice as well as bartenders, food was kind of hit and miss but for the most part good. Pricing was fair and about what you would expect anywhere else. Scheduled an event using the online system. Fairly easy to do but does not provide you with a confirmation email until days later. Only knew that it was scheduled because the deposit posted to my account. Received an email with instructions to check in 15 minutes prior to event, which we did. Informed the two ladies at the desk that we were there for a 7 pm event and showed them the email. They sent us outside to wait for a text, which would have the bay numbers listed that we would be assigned. At 7pm I still hadn't received a text so I checked back in and got blank stares. They sent me to the main desk and there they told me that they do not send text messages for events, only reservations and instructed us where to go. I attempted to let the ladies know that events do not receive text messages and at first they blamed me (saying I told them I had a reservation) and then each other. We finally got to our correct location and it took 20 minutes to get everyone (11 people)registered because "there's so many people here the system is slow." So now we are 30 minutes into a 2 hour event before anyone is actually playing a game. The bright spot was our server, Kaylee (sp?) who went out of her way to ensure that we had drink orders placed quickly and came back to check on us frequently. (Don't worry, we tipped her well, none of this was her fault). The food was so-so. Nothing to rave about but also wasn't horrible. Would not bring small children during the evening. The atmosphere is loud, chaotic, and the alcohol and cursing was flowing freely. Overall, the experience was not worth the money. We've been to "Top" Golf several times. Never knew they had a bottom floor until we showed up this evening to celebrate my son's birthday and my Mom who was in town visiting from England. We reserved ahead of time since it was a special occasion and we wanted to make sure we could get in while she was in town. We showed up and they told us our bay was on the bottom floor. We proceed down and realize you literally are level with the course. There's no "TOP" about it. We go back up and ask if there's an alternative bay to be told they were fully booked and didn't have any other slots. We tell them we're okay waiting, but again was told there's no other slots at all for the rest of the night. I asked if they can move us with another reservation. Still no. So I asked the guy if we can take it down to just 1 hour or cancel to be told "no", we had to do that 24 hours in advance. Oh, but so graciously was offered a "free round of miniature golf" which we politely declined. At this point there was clearly nothing we could. We started the game and realized what a total waste of time (and money) this was. Based on our location and having zero height / air space we could only aim for 1 hole realistically. And the poor kids couldn't even come close to getting it into there. And to make matters worse, the course was so full of golf balls that every single ball we hit just bounced off 12 other balls before going absolutely nowhere-near-the-hole since it had now changed direction. At a higher level you avoid the majority of those balls since you can go over them, and the kids use the air time to give them more power and get further out. It was a joke. And an absolute waste of time. We went back up after 5 minutes of us all being utterly bored and asked to speak to the manager who gave us the same run around but finally agreed to refund us. If we had walked in I totally understand if that's all you have left, but if we reserved in advance why were we given such a crappy bay? And why were we unable to be moved with someone else? They claim it's "personal preference" but evidently it's not when they didn't want to give anyone else such a crap spot. The bottom bays should be substantially cheaper since that is not the "TOP Golf" experience. We showed up to celebrate a special occasion and play TOP Golf. If we wanted to just hit balls into a field (that needed clearing up) we would have played regular golf or miniature golf and had a lot more fun doing so with more options of where we could hit the ball into. Never again. Thanks for wasting our evening and ruining our special occasion! read more

If you have ever tried to golf... it's not easy, so seeing everyone on ads SO happy....they must be naturals at hitting that stupid little ball and it actually taking air out into the range...lol! Needless to say I'm not a natural. You pay by the hour for the use of a bay, around $27 an hour? I did enjoyed seeing the others trying to, and actually hitting the ball, but the highlight for me was actually the Cobb salad! I heard they had really good salad but I didn't believe it but they really did; nice lettuces, tomatoes, lots of chic, one hard boiled egg and cheese. We ordered the nacho...not worth it (was about 6 chips) fitted around in a pinwheel with salsa, avocado, sour cream on the side. Certainly not enough for 5 adults as an app, the wings I didn't try but looked good, we had 2 kid chic/fries meals which were good, my husband got a cheeseburger and it was good too. So go to try and golf, but stay for the food! PS it is not cheap with beers and food with 2 hours of golfing, but I guess most knew that. read more

Hey Topgolf was FUN! This a great time out! The building is beautiful and modern, walking in check in to the left and a huge bar to the right. Once you walk out to the bays it's so nice! Each bay has a big area that could probably fit 10 people, I loved you could order food and drinks right there! And my favorite part was the food was great! Lol! Everything we got was so yummy! Looked beautiful and tasted great, loved the nachos! Now to actually playing golf well I'm not too good, but it was fun trying to smack the ball! I love this place!!! Upfront, the only way I can describe this place is: it's like a bowling alley for golf! You do not need to know how to play golf to enjoy hitting some balls here...it's fun just to see what you can do! It's a nice change of place (and pace) to gather for a few laughs, eats, conversation, etc. with friends and/or family. The bays are climate controlled...yes, that means they manage to keep it cool when it's hot outside and they manage to keep it warm when it's cold outside. I have been there in all types of weather and I'm amazed at how they do it, but they do. Some bays offer high top tables, while others offer an L shaped sofa for extra comfort. A server comes right to you as well and you can order food and drinks while you play. Woot! You do not need to have and/or bring your own clubs...they provide them for you. Plus, they have left-handed clubs and clubs for the littles as well. If you do have your own clubs, you are more than welcome to bring them and this is the perfect place to perfect your game. If you have an interest, they do offer lessons as well. As for the pricing...there is a different price depending on the hour that you go. You can find this pricing on their website. The earlier in the day the cheaper...the later in the day is more expensive. (I personally like going early and not just because it's cheaper, but because it's not as busy...shhhh!) They offer a Veteran discount too (Thank you so much for this Top Golf!!!) A few other things: - You can also come here and not partake in golfing at all. There is a wonderful restaurant and bar on the main floor. There is also a roof top bar on the top floor, but please check the opening hours of this one before going. - There is a game room located on the bottom floor with pool tables and on the 3rd floor there is a foosball table and Xbox 360 available for anyone to use. There is more than ample parking and it's easy to drive to. All of the employees have been very friendly and helpful on every visit. In closing, I'd like to say this is a place for everyone! I have been to this top golf several times over the past few months and have had a ton of fun! If you've never been to a topgolf-its a driving range with targets. There are a dozen games that you can play with your friends and it can double as exercise! Don't worry if you've never played golf before or swung a club. After some practice or help from one of the employees, you'll end hitting those balls like a champ! They even offer children and left handed clubs too! I also love how they have deals every day of the week! Tuesday is 1/2 off and I don't know what's better than that! My only reason for deducting a few stars is based off of the food and beverages. Don't get me wrong, they have more than enough options, it just isn't always consistent or at the quality that I like my food to be at. The drinks are way too sweet and are majority ice/juice. If I am ordering a $9+ cocktail, I expect it to be a beverage with a kick. Don't be cheap with the liquor. In addition, I have ordered food several times and the quality isn't always as fresh and consistent. The presentation of the food is nice but there is room for improvement. Topgolf is next level amazing!!!! For me they're attention to detail that can not be found in many places. Going to start with the BATHROOMS!!!! Yes, the bathrooms are wonderful- there are seat covers in the stalls as well as a way to open the door with your foot to keep your hands clean. They also have a private room for nursing mothers. This floored me because I was not expecting that an entertainment center to care about those needs. This was my first time at Topgolf, the greeter helped explained what we would be doing,where to go, and where the elevators are located so that we can take the stroller. You are also able to choose between high top tables and a couch at the bay where you are stationed. We chose the couch as it was a bit chilly so we can cozy up. Found out that they also have above heaters! Topgolf is truly a family friendly venue if you decide to bring the kids along. It was nice family time when we finally played. We came in Sunday 5/29. Things were run a bit different than the Top Golf in CA. I always reserved a bay online so I didn't have to wait. Here they said a bay didn't need to be reserved for only 4 people. So they put us on a waiting list. It took forever we waited almost 3 hours for a spot, to pass the time we ordered food: *Smokehouse Burger ( Rating 1-10: (6) good) *Margherita Flatbread (tasted like a cheap pizza with a basil seasoned tomatoe on top my rating was a 1) *Buffalo Wings ( rating from 1-10; I give them a (4 ): some wings didn't have sauce on them. Others were drenched in sauce. Wings were overly airfried) *Kids Chicken Bites: rating from 1-10; (7) it was the smallest most basic meal yet it came out last we were almost done with our food when it was brought out. It came with fries but ketchup was not included?? It had a dipping sauce for the chicken but no ketchup for the fries. We had to ask, yet it never came. Food in my opinion is EXPENSIVE for the lowest of the low quality. Mcdonalds could probably have delivered better. The golf experience here is also EXPENSIVE.
