Our first time here, Christina and her trainee Brittney took excellent care of us. We will definitely come back to this location!!! They were really hot too! They got boyfriends? Tell em hook it up haha read more

This place has changed. At some point they changed their policy. They require you to be paying for a golf game every minute that you are at a bay. So if you are sitting there with a group of people spending hundreds of dollars on food and drinks and you've been paying for the golf for an hour or whatever, the minute that golf game expires they are pressuring you to clear your table and telling you, you need to leave. The waitstaff and bus boys circle you like vultures constantly interrupting your conversations and asking if they can take things away. After paying for 2 hours worth of games, drinks and food... they were on us within 10 minutes telling us we had to leave. It was truly like trying to have a good time with the food cops looking over your shoulder the whole time. I've been a member since this place first opened. I used to take large groups of clients there all the time. Terrible experience now. I'll never go back. Note to the owners: This strategy of yours may help to "turn and burn" tables in the short term... But it is an awful experience for customers and will end up costing you repeat business in the long term. read more

The manager is the awesomest !!! Josh Roach you're the man and they're lucky to have you

top golf is super fun! It was about 20$ per person to play for about an hour and it is very worth it. I am not very good at golf, but because you are so high up, it makes it feel like you are better. I would recommend it for sure read more

So I have been to this TopGolf location many times but no one has ever taken care of me the way Tank did this past Friday. After waiting on the balcony for 15 minutes we went to the bar and received EXCELLENCE service from her. read more

If I could provide this establishment with a zero rating I would! I went for my birthday and after speaking to one of the managers the day before and getting everything, what I thought was taken care of turned out to be a complete disaster. I had asked them if the 2 bays would accommodate for the number of guest that I would be having and we were told yes, we were also informed of the set up of the bays. When we arrived they had us in the wrong bays and not with the set up. They told us it would be about 30 minutes for them to get us another 2 bays - we were okay with that at the time. After sitting in the bar area for about 45 minutes and the bar tenders being very rude and shouting peoples personal information (cards being declined, not able to authorize cards, they are going to pour peoples drinks out if they don't pay, etc.) The bar manager also came up to several of my guest and told them that since they did not have a "valid" ID they needed to leave the bar area. One guest had a paper ID with 3 other forms of ID - he had just renewed his ID, another guest her ID was expired and she provided 3 forms of ID along with her husband validating and the manager again asked them to leave the bar area. Now, I am aware of TABC rules and regulations as I have taken the test multiple times and renewed multiple times, at no point were we in violation of TABC rules and regulations and he did not have to talk to my guest that way. After sitting at the bar area for longer than we were told, I asked for a manager to get a status update on my bays. Judging by her body language you could tell that there was a mistake that was made, considering the number of bays that we could see were open. Once we were at our bay about an hour later, we were told that we were going to have a waiter and his name was Carlos. Well when we asked for Carlos to take our drink orders and food orders, he said he was told that he was not to take care of our bays and that we needed to ask for another waiter/waitress. Myself and the guest were very upset at this, knowing that this young man was told not to help us. We eventually received a waitress, however you could tell that we were being an inconvenience to her, even though everyone was being very patient with her. While at our bay the bar manager that told several of my guest that they were in violation TABC walked past our bay about every 5-10 minutes to ensure that they were not drinking or had drinks. He went as far as asking other guest if they had seen them having any alcohol. As we were golfing and having a great time, I was approached by a manager and was asked if I planned on having any more people show up. I asked, no, but why does it matter, I was told I could have up to 20 people here. She then informed me, that my party was in violation of fire code and that her and Top Golf would receive a ticket of violation if the fire marshal was to walk in and see my party. I told her, I did not understand and why this was my issue; we were told we could have this many people, you were aware of this. If this was going to be an issue then someone should have said something at that time. She informed me that, she was just providing me with a warning, and that WE needed to re-evaluate how we balanced out the area and that WE needed to either send people home or to the bar area. With about 16 minutes left of play time, Sam our waitress very loudly told us that we didn't have much time left at our bays. When we looked over the guest that were taking our bays once we left were already standing there waiting for us to leave and Sam told us we needed to go ahead and move all of our stuff to the other bay. If I still have time on my account why am I being told to move to accommodate for someone else that there time hasn't even started? This is not how I wanted my guest to be treated at my birthday get together. I will never step foot inside of any Top Golf ever again. My guest were profiled, harassed, embarrassed, and made to believe that we were an issue and an inconvenience to the Top Golf Katy institution, considering we spent a lot of money in that establishment during our event. I have tried to call and speak with someone of authority, however don't bother calling because no one answers the phone or when they do they hang up on you - it's the same thing with corporate. read more

First time last night & had a absolute blast. The servers were awesome and the manager that night Alejandro kept checking on us. Would definitely recommend this location!! read more

I was invited here on Saturday afternoon by a few friends. I am not a fan of golf but since I don't get to see my peeps I decided why not go and check it out. Let me just say that this was the highlight of my weekend. I had so much fun playing golf with my friends and just enjoying good food and good drinks. The price was $40 an hour but if you are in a group setting then that's not bad everyone can split the cost. Our server was freaking awesome! I am now a lifetime golf member which means I will definitely be going back. read more

Come before noon and it's only $20 an hr. Great deal for a driving range

place is like lucky strike except golfing instead of bowling. it's definitely the new hot spot to hang out at. you'll find people from all ages hanging out. decor is very modern and looks like a lounge. they have couches at every bay, bars, bar games, tv's, banquet rooms, alcohol, food, the works. the place is not cheap though, $40 a bay for an hour. drink prices are high, food prices are high, even need a membership card of $5 just to play. although the balls have chips, they are not 100% accurate. it's nice having the different levels cause even beginners can hit the ball off the side and still score. definitely a fun place to go to hang out but be prepared to spend some dough. read more

Forgot to drop this review when I went last Saturday but here it is. Drumroll pleaseeeeee haha not. But yea this location off highway 6 is great. It was a packed Saturday for a friends birthday, we were promptly met at the door by greeters and explained what we were there for. They gave us detailed instructions on who to talk to and where to go to check in. I'd already been and signed up for my lifetime membership, so I was good to go. Friend wasn't there yet so, I went to the upstairs bar with the open patio, which is awesome by the way, and had a large Blue Moon while I waited. Bartender was quick, polite and well deserving of her tip. Once the party arrived, my lady, my homie and I met the rest of our friends and sat at bay 311 which was all the way at the end. We ordered the brisket grilled cheese sandwich with a side of fries and it was delicious! Of course the playing of golf around friends was great even tho I suck, but that's neither here nor there lol. Definitely come with a group and enjoy yourselves. The moment of memories is well worth it. read more

Last night (Friday night at 8pm), despite the large crowds, I still had a surprisingly excellent experience in both golfing and dining! Finding parking felt more like hunting, but they do offer valet parking ($7 at the time). Our wait time was ~1-2 hours, so we headed downstairs to get dinner. We managed to snag a table for our group of 8, and were greeted promptly and with sincere apologetic sentiments; you could tell she sincerely wanted to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your time. At most times, we were able to flag her down when we wanted drinks and food, which was all consistently pleasant, but nothing that makes you think "wow, I must have this again!". After 1.5 hours passed, our golfing bay was available, so we transferred our dining check over to the golfing bay, where we had a different server who checked on our table very often (maybe every 15-20 minutes). The golfing bay provides various golf clubs (left handed clubs available at the front desk), tee, and golf balls. I think nighttime is best for amateur golfers because no one will hear as you excitedly cheer when you hit the ball, reach the target, as it is lost in the overall noise of loud music and raucous chatter. All equipment is clean and works properly, as well as all tables and chairs are clean and look nice and presentable (no gum under the tables or chairs falling apart). Overall, an excellent experience, with the exception of terrible parking. read more

There's way too many employees working here for there to ever be bad service. The employees are either all watching TV or talking amongst themselves. We had to wave someone down whenever we needed something. At the end of our time at the bay, we were finishing up our food and drinks and were told to either leave or pay for another hour. We left without finishing our food. read more

My waitress Zee has been such a great person. Giving excellent service and allowing our time here to be truly one memorable one.

I love this place. Great place to drink and eat some finger foods, while playing a dart/skeeball like game of golf. The wait can be super long during peak hours and on the weekends, but that is to be expected of a place that everyone wants to go to. I would go way in advance, or have someone go early, to reserve a spot on the list. If you become a premium member, I believe there are ways to get expedited to the next available bay. read more

I think Top Golf may have read their reviews. I planned a birthday event for my fiance here but once I read these reviews, it was too late to tell everyone a new location so we went anyway. Let me say the bad first. Parking......valet, please, to prevent a headache just go ahead and valet park, it's only $5. Our guests chose not to valet because they didn't know the price (at that time neither did we) so they spent 45 minutes looking for parking. The parking is horrible and it almost made a couple of our guests go home. We arrived on Friday 7/19 at 8:05pm and while my fiance waited for his friends to park, i went and printed our cards and reserved a section. We were greeted at the door by 3 different people. They were all smiles. When I got to the concierge desk I was told there was a 3 hour wait!! Luckily I read these reviews and had already purchased a $50 VIP pass. We didn't even wait 5 minutes. Once we arrived at our table, our waitress was right there to take our drink orders and she came and checked on us often. It was $40 an hour to play and we played for an hour 1/2. We had so much fun. I'm glad they stepped their game up and read these reviews because this is a great place to go. 3 floors, live DJ, dance floor, and free raffles....what more could you ask for? read more

My husband, 14 year old son and I decided we wanted to try Top Golf after driving by it on our way to our new home in Katy. Since we are recent transplants from Washington State, this concept was new to us. In my preliminary findings before we went, I had known in advance that this place would be busy and if we wanted to go and enjoy ourselves, we should go early. We went on a Friday morning and arrived right before 10 a.m. The parking lot was fairly empty and parking was easy to find. We even received an offer for a lift to the front on their golf cart. We declined...it wasn't that far to walk. We bought our lifetime memberships ($5/each) and purchased two hours at $20/hr. (You only get three hours at this price before it jumps to $40/hour). We then checked in at the concierge for a bay. We asked to be on the top level (just looks like more fun) and were assigned bay 308. So far, so good. It wasn't even crowded and we had a nice bay, with comfy chairs and a love seat. Our waitress was spectacular and on point and we never lacked for a beverage. We didn't order any food, so we can't comment on that, but did note lots of other patrons ordering food. We also noticed that there is NO smoking area and we had to walk all the way down to the parking lot to smoke...and there are no ashtrays. Not a huge deal, just kind of strange and inconvenient for a "bar" atmosphere. My suggestion would be to have a smoking lounge....just a thought. We enjoyed the various games albeit very hot and humid. When we left we were absolutely amazed at the parking lot being COMPLETELY full and another patron looking for one asked us if we happened to be leaving so he could have our spot. We were happy to oblige. We didn't know there was valet parking but the lot was so empty when we got there we didn't mind. My advice would be to arrive at opening if you want parking and great service with no wait time. We will be back...but again at opening to avoid the extra cost and wait times. read more

So fun! If i could afford to go once a week, I would. I've been here twice since it opened and had a blast BOTH times. Service is great. Both were private events, though so I'm not sure about individual service... I think I will be going back soon as a regular customer. read more

Had a great time here for a company party. We didn't have a wait as it was reserved. Good service. Kinda weird everyone working seemd so happy to be there. Must pay them pretty well? This place was awesome. We had the best server Blanca, she was on top of her game all night. We will be going back!

This was such a fun place. My husband and I went for a date. The earlier you go, the cheaper it is to rent the bays. The staff is so friendly and on top of their jobs! Management is also very attentive. We didn't make a reservation which wasn't an issue at all. We were given the rundown of how to play and we got right to it. The food was pretty good. We had buffalo wings which were soooo good! The Guacamole was really tasty too. The beer cheese was okay, I probably wouldn't get it again but I'm sure there are others who would enjoy the taste. I had a mango margarita frozen, and a strawberry margarita frozen. The drinks tasted delicious but to me; I didn't think there was enough alcohol. I'm not a heavy drinker, so I feel like it says something if I think the drink was weak. We also had a small issue with our game and the manager gave us an extra 30 minutes of gameplay which I thought was kind. It seems like a fun place for all ages. I loved it. read more

Love top golf! This is so much fun and great to do with the family. The food is also excellent. We recently hosted a birthday party at top golf for our 11yo daughter and all of the guests had a great time. The service was top notch. read more

It's either a hit or miss with these servers. Our cheese fries and nachos were horrific. The cheese literally was a pancake on fries. The nachos were also stale. I love the concept. If this were in San Diego, I'd be here most evenings. If you haven't been here, picture a bowling alley and a driving ranged merged together. The computerized ball locator is cool. Once you it a ball, it shows how close you got to the flag. No clubs needed at this spot because they already have them. The alcohol is a great added feature to hitting some golf balls. The only draw back from this place is the Texas heat. Though they have fans, when it's 100+ in temp, swinging away at a small ball does require some work.. read more
