This is a fun place. Because this was a special occasion for our family, we ordered a good bit of food. The food was typical...ok but not great. The service was incredibly slow. While we were there it was hot. I found it very difficult to get ice for our drinks....once the drinks themselves finally arrived. Waited 4 hours with 7 people. We were told only 6 people could play. One of our guest didn't plan on playing anyway. We get to the bay and they say only 6 people can be in the bay regardless of if they are playing or not so our friend who wasn't playing was instructed to go sit in the waiting area. Meanwhile 3 bays over, 9 people are in the same size bay we were in but that was apparently acceptable. Not sure who they paid off but we weren't offered the same deal to be able to have our 1 person in our bay. We've always had a good time when we come to top golf but this is very disappointing, especially when there are those who are getting special treatment for whatever reason. If you are going to have a rule, enforce it for everyone and warn people ahead of time that it is no more than 6 IN THE BAY, not just limited 6 to actually playing. read more

I was so excited to hear about top golf coming to Baton Rouge after trying it out in Houston and Dallas ! Perfect hangout place along with food and drinks ! When this location first opened up I had trouble trying to even get a bay at first, didn't surprise me considering everyone in town was trying to go here during their opening months. Fast forward half a year and I finally got to try this location out ! Now I'm not a huge golfer but I will say it's addicting trying to hit the ball as hard as you can and seeing how far it goes and getting points for getting the ball into different point holes! The food and drinks are okay, I never thought they were amazing at any location but they were good enough for a night out at top golf along with drinks which weren't bad. They have different specials thoughout the week so you can always look forward to coming here on different days! I recommend anyone whose never been to go try top golf because it's fun! Service was great and it's just fun to swing and hit a ball! Drinks may or may not help you get better but it does make it more exciting! I have only been to the top golf in baton rouge and needless to say after my 3rd time coming in 3 years, i have no desire to come back. the drinks were expensive but very weak, service was mediocre.. our waiter only stopped by 3 times and that was to greet us, bring us our drinks take orders, then close us out. we didn't expect them to be bothering us often but by the time we were wanting more drinks or dessert we didnt have enough game time left to even wait for the food/drinks without adding more game time. it is a fun place to go but not worth the price for the experience! read more

Tried to make a reservation for 11 people. They said to go on the app. I asked them if they could help make one for me on their computer, they said no. Tried to go on the app and make a reservation for 11 they said make a reservation for 5 and 6. I asked will we be sat together? They said they'll try their best. Been here 3 or 4 times. A couple times for their brunch in the weekend and a couple times at night. No matter when you go it's great vibes. The only difference is the food that is offered. But it's all fantastic. Their brunch menu is extensive: French toast, multiple burgers, açaí fruit bowls, etc. The dinner menu is fantastic too. We've had queso, wings, tacos. AND THEY HAVE INJECTABLE DONUTS (see my picture). You pick the filling and it's delivered in syringes along with the donut holes. They also offer a wide variety of cocktails and we eve never been disappointed in any of them. You can make a reservation beforehand so there will be no wait. The staff is extremely nice. They even have people walking around offering to take group pictures for you. They are also very diligent in allowing you to split the check at the end depending on who ordered what, which is nice. Finally, even the pricing is 5 star. I can see where it could be expensive for just a couple people. But you can split your bay up to 6 ways and it becomes very affordable. read more

Wow it's busy here! I guess since there is only one in the city. Usually I go to top golf locations early on weekends cause it's cheaper and not nearly as busy as later in the day. That is clearly not the case here. There were a lot of folks here, but I felt top golf has a good set up for the number of people and managed it well. There are plastic curtains between each bay for social distancing. Even with the number of people there, I didn't have an issue getting a bay though they only had a few left and only on the ground level. Service was good, place was clean, really no down sides. We had a good time. I guess my only issue would be that I had a party of 8 which included two 5yr olds but due to covid they are only allowing 6 per bay. Trying to reserve 2 bays a week in advance to meet the covid requirement I was quoted at $480 for 2 hrs including food sampler and non alcoholic drinks and told that was a requirement to get two bays even after explaining the ages. So we just met up with my brother and nephew after and saved $450. Okay maybe save a little less since we did order nachos which were good. read more

This is my first time at Topgolf in Baton Rouge and it was amazing! My sister and I went on a double date here with our boyfriends and was a nice surprise for us! Since located in a college town, granted, it's mostly college kids. Which is not a problem for me considering I am one myself. Just a heads up incase you being family or kids. It's pretty pricey. We had to pay $5 for each additional player which wasn't a big deal but I didn't see a need for that. We played for an hour and 30 minutes for around $70. The time went by fast! We ordered the wings, mac n cheese bites and a side salad. All very good, bar food. My sister and her boyfriend tore up the wings while me and Andrew ate the mac n chz and salad. Salad didn't impress me but I didn't expect much, still good! Mac n Chz bites were very creamy, rich and had a hint of spice. According to my sister, wings were very delicious and prefect bbq! The Topgolf experience is different than any other. It's the perfect spot for a date night, family outing, or party events. We will be back! Wish there was one closer to Mandeville though! read more

My first trip to Topgolf and I must say it was really fun ! It was a friends birthday and his wife brought him to Topgolf to celebrate ! First we went to the third floor and found a comfortable spot . Next we ordered some food because we had all just gotten off work and was ready to let our hair down and celebrate his birthday! The food was just okay for me ! Your standard pub fare , nothing fantastic, but the highlight was our waitress! She was great! Very patient, and very helpful with what was available,and what she really liked and enjoyed! Then we wandered around and watched a few people hit golf balls, that turned out to be VERY entertaining ! Next we went to the outside patio to relax and have after dinner conversation. This was were we discovered the outside gaming area ! This place has a little bit of something for everyone! On Friday's there is a DJ that keeps the music going! This review is super late - I went to this place months ago. That said, my family and I had a great time. None of us are necessarily good, but we enjoyed trying and getting a little competitive. I've been 4-5 times now. It can get crowded and there is a wait sometimes, but it's never been more than 25 minutes. It's not super expensive and the gameplay options are great. I had zero golf experience and I enjoyed the hell out of it. I've been with a group of adults, just me and a friend, and also for a 7 year old birthday party. All ran smoothly, and the staff is very helpful. The food isn't bad either. I haven't eaten much there so I can't give much detail. Visited last night to celebrate a birthday. Pros: the place is beautiful and very clean. The staff is very approachable and friendly. Cons: The price. We were aware of the rental cost of the bay, but we did not take into account the inflated cost once every person in your party buys their "membership". We had two children in our group and I was surprised that they too needed to have a paid membership to play. Our $67.50 for game play alone quickly jumped to almost $100. We did not purchase food or drinks, but if you are interested in that (which most people are!), expect to pay a pretty penny for the whole experience. We went on a fairly cold evening (in the 30s) and while the bays have heat lamps, we found that they were not very effective in keeping the group warm. Additionally, we wanted to purchase coffees and teas for everyone and were told that they were out (huh?). On a cold night, it is a must to offer warm beverages of some sort. It would have been nice for the kids to have hot cocoa, too, so this is definitely something I would recommend adding to a menu (plus, they could make hot toddys or other warmed alcoholic beverages! Another opportunity to make more money). When we had about 15 minutes left in our game, the heat was shut off in our bay... we are still unsure if this was to rush us out of the bay to make it available to others, or if there was some other explanation. We found this suspect. Overall, we would not regularly visit TopGolf, especially in the cooler months, but mostly because of the price. This is certainly more of a special occasion place than anything else, which also makes the paid memberships feel rather unnecessary. read more

Had an extremely fun time here. I am not a golfer, by any means... ok... I suck at it...but I still had a great time. They have several games you can choose from, with up to 6 people in a game. Prices vary depending on the time you go and you do have to have a membership which costs 5 dollars. Staff was good, but the reason I'm giving this 4 stars is the time it took for drinks to come out. We went around 11, so there wasn't much traffic. We would order our drinks and it would take about 30 mins for the drinks to come out. Definitely a busy place on a sunny Saturday but easily passed the time in the third floor bar with apps and drinks. The Korean cauliflower was seasonal but my favorite of the apps ordered! However all were good portion and easy to share amongst my waiting group. Negative is the bay did take awhile to be ready and was much longer than their estimated wait time. Also the gentleman at the bay to help players sign in was pretty impersonal and didn't really help those who were new to the membership process and playing setup feel comfortable. Usually topgolf is a nice place to take friends to or have a get together for a birthday but this wasn't the situation for the time we went for my birthday. We had a server named Kennedy and she was the worst server our group has ever had there. We would tell her that we needed refills on some of our drinks and she would disappear for 20 mins and not come back with our drinks. Then when it came time to check out, we told her we wanted to split it by what each couple got since some got a lot of food and some got an appetizer and a drink but she constantly said what was convenient for her was to just split the whole total by 3. She clearly didn't understand what we were saying. The attitude got worse as we tried explaining it to her how we wanted it split. At the end of the day it's about how we wanted to pay not by your convenience. Then when we asked her for plates and a knife, she told me they don't have any, didn't check in the kitchen, just straight "no we don't have any". So you're telling me the time I celebrated my boyfriends birthday at this same topgolf 6 months ago and that time the server brought us a knife, lighter for the candles, plates and forks and now you don't have any, not even a knife in an establishment this big? Ironic. She needs an attitude check and someone needs to teach her some customer service. read more

Today was our first time visiting. And let say it might be our last. So, we made reservations online and checked in. We booked two bays, one bay was for my teenage niece and her friends and the others were ours. We waited almost an hour before the first bay was called. So my sister asked them if there were problems with our booking and was told it was fine just had to wait. An hr and 15 min and still no bay number. So we went back to the front desk to ask why the wait was the wait so long. They said that because both bays were under the same telephone number, then why not just say that from the beginning instead of having having to wait. So we changed the number and have to wait again. So our initial reservations were at 7:30. So my niece's bay is almost done by the time we get a bay. So, almost 9, we get a bay. The waitress gets our drink order and comes back about 15 min later. About another 15 minutes we made our food order. About 25 to 30min our food comes. We start eating about 10 min later the waitress tell us our time is almost up how we going to pay. We tell her,and she tells us we have to hurry because our time is up. If that's the case, you need to get your food service and need a faster turnaround time. They didn't even offer to go boxes, and she was very rude about us leaving. Our food literally had steam coming off of it, and you are running us from our table. We booked for an hour, so why is our food coming out 15 min before its time to end. We ordered pretty quickly. Food is overpriced for the quality you receive. From start to finish our service could have been 100% better. read more

The staff was very helpful and prepared for any new golfers. My expectations for Topgolf were fairly high. I couldn't imagine that a business model such as that would fail in any category and in this area. I was mistaken. When we arrived we were informed it would be a two hour wait for a bay. We decided to stay anyways and hangout on the top level and grab something to eat and enjoy the atmosphere in the bar area. We sat ourselves in an open area next to the bar and next to a table of about five people. The area we were in was next to were the waiting staff cash out their tickets. After sitting for about 10-15mins with no acknowledgement from any staffer I decided to go ask the bartender for some help. Our waitress for our area had walked by us serval times once I was informed who our server was. Our waitress had come to the table next to us a couple of times but hadn't inquired if we needed anything so I figured we had a different server. When she did decide to come she took our order and our drinks were brought out by a different server and our food was brought out by another server. The server who brought the food we asked if he could bring us some plates and silverware which we never received from our assigned waitress. Mind you the food server NEVER came back with the plates and silverware after waiting for 7-10 mins. So I once again went to the bar and asked the bartender for plates and silverware. Our waitress came by once after our food arrived. We never got refills after being there for over an hour and eating . We watched our waitress service the table next to us a couple of times but never asking if we needed refills or something. Another waitress came to get a chair from our table and I asked her to send us a manager over. The manager arrived I informed him that I was not pleased with my experience and how I had to get my own plates and silverware and never got good service at our table after watching our waitress go to the table next to us serval times. He stated our waitress had multiple tables inside and out but "that's not an excuse", and asked if we wanted anything. We just decided to leave and packed up our food at that point because he seemed very unconcerned about our complaint. I even told him I'm not one to complain but our server was way off that night. We asked the manager for to-go cups of soda and he brings us two 4-6oz water cups with the lids that didn't fit and he acknowledged that the lids didn't fit......so why bring them....smh. I'm pretty sure those were not the regular "to go" cups. Once our server came to bring our ticket she brought us the WRONG. ticket with someone else's closed out ticket and tip! She left so fast we had to wait till she came back by to flag her down and let her know we had the wrong ticket. When we finally closed out our ticket and I called our waitress over and she apologized to us after seeing that we had called over the manager and knowing she didn't provide us with good service. I asked our waitress if she was having a bad night and she stated that this was her first time waiting inside and outside. If anything we should have been her easiest table because it was only two of us and we sat right by the cash out ticket area for that entire area. Overall I was not pleased with that service and the unconcerned manager. At the end of the day I left a small tip only because the young lady apologized after I called her over to inquire if she was having a bad night. I'm a pretty big tipper when I go out because I work in the service industry myself in a different capacity. So, we arrived as a group and ordered drinks. Waited a while and nothing. Late person shows up and orders a drink it comes out immediately and she says ours is Otw. Waited another 10 mins finally the group drinks came. Fast forward to 35-40 mins later and we ask to order another round and she leaves and finally comes back to say they already made last call and the bar was closing. Ma'am, how did you tell me you have been here for 8 hours and we are your third group yet you didn't make it back over to let us know the bar was on last call. It was a group of 8 people with drinks, why wouldn't you check. So of course, I asked the question and she claimed that they didn't warn her either. Overall, bad first experience for sure as far as the service goes. The food came out quickly and was okay. Also, we paid to play until close at midnight and the staff became rude and cleaning all around us as if to rush us....UPDATE THANK YOU TO THE MANAGEMENT TEAM FOR INVITING ME & MY GROUP BACK! We had a GREAT time during our follow up experience. We even had time to check out the entire space, play games on the ground floor, and between our golfing we hung out on the patio at the fire pits! Had the pleasure of participating in a team building activity with coworkers and I must say, this place has all their ducks in a row. The staff was friendly, attentive and knowledgable. The facility is perfect for large groups and provided accommodations specific to our needs. The menu items were not only diverse but quite tasty as well. The bar provided an array of options for every drinker on the spectrum. The place was clean and all the areas were well taken care of. We had a fantastic time and I foresee many more outings both with large groups as well as smaller social outings. The games give everyone a chance to enjoy and excel. Top golf is the most magnificent golfing range you will ever lay eyes on. I recommend going as soon as possible because it will blow your mind! There is so much to do! Not only can you golf, but you can eat! They have a massive menu and a restaurant. There is a bar with all the drinks you can imagine! If they don't have the drink you were hoping for, ask for a recommendation on something to try. It is a wonderful experience for friends, family, co-workers, and strangers! The food was good and the golf was fun, but our waitress kept forgetting about and failed to refill drinks and check up on us. Nobody told us we couldn't take out multiple balls during a turn and the waitress came and cussed at the player who was up and changed his score to zero to be rude to him. Later when the game was almost over and out last golfer was almost finished she took out her last two balls so she would be able to hit them. A manger came and made her throw the halls off the platform so she couldn't hit her last two balls. Seems like everyone was either rude or petty to us. The waitress (Shenia) also made us wait for the our checks while she was visiting with her friends. read more
