My coworkers and I went to the Akron Top Golf on a hot, Thursday afternoon. I've never been to this location but it is TINY! I didn't know Top Golf's could be constructed this small! It was like 98 degrees out and I think that more ways to keep everyone cool would have been great. The heat definitely kept us from trying any of their popular (and high calorie!!!!) hot food items! It had been a couple years since I last went to a Top Golf so my score was in the toilet, unsurprisingly, but it was still a fun experience! Our cold drinks came out quickly too. I would also like to recommend more cold items and some healthier options too. Personally, I'd recommend the Independence location over this one if you're the one paying as you'll have a better experience there. read more

Came here when it was Big Shots and thought that was way better. Then we came here after its conversion to Top Golf and it was not as good. It was more expensive, lost its charm and since it was already set up as something else, it wasn't renovated to match the actual Top Golf setup. The colored targets were different, smaller, and they don't light up! It also didn't used to be so crowded, but after its conversion, we couldn't even get a walk in slot on a weekday. read more

I really miss big shots. This is yet another case of a large company buying up a smaller one and charging more for an inferior product. It's such a shame. It's like twice as expensive now, not as laid back, the course selection has dropped 80%, and the tracking technology isn't as good. A group of 10 of us went on a Sunday. Paige was our server and everything went well. We were at the Akron location, which I think I like a bit better than the Independent one. Everything went well except they couldn't get the fans working. I was a little disappointed in the wings, but otherwise the food was good and hot when it came out. read more

Fun night out for all ages & skill levels. We reserved an area for a surprise 30th birthday party. Staff was friendly & service was prompt. We ordered every appetizer on the menu and there was no complaints. The dounut holes were a hit and I personally would go back just for their chicken, bacon, ranch flat bread We had a blast celebrating here! read more

One of the times me and my family came we had horrible service. We sat in the bar area because our bay wasn't ready yet. 2 of us ordered food, hoping it wouldn't take long because our bay would be ready soon. We were wrong. First of all, it took 10 minutes just for our drinks alone. Then we ordered food and the waitress took our order like normal. However, she never came back to check on us. We watched the tables around us get their food before us, even when we were sat before them. We could easily see into the kitchen and all of the workers were eating the food and messing around. They would come out and walk right past us, not asking us if we were doing okay or if we needed anything. It took around 45 minutes just for 2 burgers and a side of fries and fruit. Meanwhile there was almost no one sitting in the bar area. Overall, the service isn't very good, and the servers don't check on the bays very often. Also, the food takes forever to come from the kitchen to the bay, and most food is usually cold by the time it arrives. read more

1. y'all bought out big shots for this place to be horrible. didn't even change up the inside to make it look or feel like a top golf, you just slabbed that dumbass logo on the front of the building and on your overpriced games and menu and it called it topgolf, ew 2. your phone # doesn't work ... i called in to try to get a hold of somebody real, not a bot, to ask if a group of three could walk in and the call couldn't be transferred to their building, nice one there. and the bot talks in loops, yall didn't even try on that shit 3. bar sucks ass. staff behind there is trash and move slow. pick up the pace or something. maybe leave. it just feels so wrong so damn cheap y'all did nothing to renovate this place to make it "topgolf." staff is as mid as it gets, you'll pay double for what bigshots used to charge while playing in the same layout bigshots was made in, and when it's cold, the bays didn't even get warm. i got so much to say id love to meet whoever did this renovation, you need help read more

Went on Father's Day, and it was a bit of a disappointment. Felt like they were short staffed, and I guess I went in with high expectations, because the one in Tampa, was this one on steroids. Paying $50/hr to hit golf balls, you'd expect friendlier service. I was ready to leave after 45 minutes. It just didn't have the TG vibes I've had at other locations. Turn the music up and get that place feeling alive. Has potential. Save your money and play a round at the Firestone 9, I've also played there, and it's a beautiful course. read more

Bought out bigshots and ruined it. Used to be able to get reps here and have a good time. Now I'm paying triple the price for angry birds and captain America games. Even the new balls they use are cheap and flake off onto your driver. Might I add the games used to track your drive carry and won't go farther than 239. Me and my buddies used to love drive competitions. Definitely won't be back and this used to be my favorite place to come when I'm home for breaks :( read more

Madison the server we had was so so kind! She helped me to select things off the menu that would accommodate my party the best. The only thing is that all managers we saw were sitting around while servers were running around like chickens with their head cut off! Service is shotty at best and the facility falls short of a traditional top golf experience. Go to the Cleveland location.

My friend and I sat at the bar. There was no one in the entire restaurant. The bartender kept passing us. Not sure what he was doing. Several minutes go by and he finally comes over and asks if us girls are ordering anything? Um yes, that's why we're sitting here. We order 2 blueberry joitos. He didn't give us mint or lime that it comes with. We asked if he has mint. He said oh yes, would you like to add some to your drink? Um that's how the drink is made. We never got limes. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich add bacon and jalapeño jack cheese and mac n cheese bites. I asked what came in the side salad. Bartender said it's lettuce but not the crunchy kind. It's dark green like spring mix but not romaine. It has croutons, tomatoes, onions, scallions, you know, a small salad. I said Every place tops theirs differently so no I don't know. He had no idea what was on it. Ended up passing on the salad and got tots instead. My friend ordered steak tacos. Bar tender brought app out and said here you go and it's served with some kind of white and red sauce. He clearly doesn't know the menu. After we are done with our app he then starts to put our entrees in and tells us they don't have steak tacos. Not sure why he waited this long to tell us. My friend changes to shrimp. He said we don't have tacos except mushroom according to the system. Not sure if they were out or what but he never went to the kitchen to ask. Just relied on the POS. Friend changed order to flatbread. Both of our meals came out cold. My sandwich was missing the bacon. Bartender said they are going to make some. So what am I supposed to do in the mean time? Stare at my food as it gets even colder for several minutes. He then said he'd put it under the heat lamp. Um no. That dries chicken out and who wants a meal that's just been sitting around. They ended up remaking it. It came back out and this time it was missing the cheese. At this point I was just done and said forget it. We've sat there so long and it's been nothing but a disaster. In The mean time, my friend had one bit of her cold pizza and there was a long hair baked in. So that too had to be remade. While we waited for our refire, 2 older gentlemen came to the bar a sat. Bartender asked if they were drinking. They said yes and there'll be 6 of us. The bartender said you all are sitting at the bar? The man said yes. Bartender said well it would be more convenient for me if you got a table and I can serve you easier. Um WTH? Who says that? The man said oh can we not sit here and the bartender repeated himself saying it's just more convenient for me if you were at a table. There was nobody in the entire place except us. For as dead as it was, this experience was the worst. Pretty sad when the front and back of the house both can't get it right. Our plan was to golf after we ate but after our horrible experience we opted out. read more

I took my son there last Saturday around 7pm. We went our bay which was 106. I couldn't get past sign in with your membership or add another person. I tried it several times on the screen and then on my phone and still nothing. I finally stood up looking confused, waiting for service. Several employees walked past me. 2 employees were talking right across from where I stood. I politely waited for them to finish their conversation and they just walked off. Another employee was walking out the door, looked at me then went back in. Finally when someone came in my direction, I was going to ask her, but she went to bay 107 where those individuals already had everything and ask she asked if they needed anything else and was everything good with them. At that point, I told my son we're leaving. I went to the front desk and left them know I was having trouble getting the game started, the young man there said he would help me, I told him no. I said I was irritated because several employees walked past me, didn't acknowledge me and that it was bad customer service. One of those employees was standing there just looking at me as I made this statement. Then he asked if I wanted to buy good. Really??!! I said, "No, I don't want to spend my money here." We then left. I do not plan on going back. I anticipated having a good time with my son, but left irritated and feeling offended. This definitely needs to be corrected. read more
