We purchased our car from Audi Vaughan 8 years ago and have had our car serviced at the same…read morelocation since then, including changing the winter tires. In the spring we had our winter tires changed back to the regular tires at Audi Vaughan. Since winter is here again, we needed to get the winter tires back on, but have moved far away so went to a nearby Canadian Tire. At Canadian Tire, the mechanic said they tried one tire but couldn't get the locks off because it was stripped and we'd have to go back to the dealer to get the locks removed. Yesterday we had an appointment at Audi Vaughan and had a horrible experience. We explained the situation to Alessandra, who kept changing her story and gaslighting us. We explained that no one had touched the tires since Audi Vaughan changed the tires in the spring (until we took it to Canadian Tire), so the stripping must have happened by the staff at Audi Vaughan. Alessandra initially said all 4 locks were stripped, and quoted us approximately ~$600 to have the locks removed, and another ~$200 to change the tires. We asked for a manager and spoke with Romana, explaining that the only way this could have happened is by Audi Vaughan in the spring. Alessandra said there was "100% NO WAY" the team here could have caused it because they are "licensed" and always "tighten the wheels BY HAND" and if they had stripped the locks they would have said they did it at the time. Obviously the mechanic needs to use TOOLS to tighten the wheels and of course could have caused the damage. Our appointment was at 9:30am. At ~1pm the story changes and Alessandra says there were 3 locks that were stripped and asked if we want to get the tires changed too. We declined getting the tires changed. The work was completed around 1:30pm and I asked for the stripped locks. Then the story becomes 1 lock was stripped and 2 were seized and the seizing was caused by rust/corrosion and again could not be Audi Vaughan's fault. This is nonsensical - a very simple Google search advises that a common cause of both stripping and seizing is OVERTIGHTENING. Audi Vaughan refused to take accountability for their error, but "as a courtesy" and "out of the goodness of their hearts" (direct quotes) did not charge for changing the tires and applied a 15% discount. To get our car back we had to pay $631.05, nevermind all the time lost. If they didn't screw up our wheels we could have had the tires changed elsewhere for $150! Do yourself a big favor and STAY AWAY from Audi Vaughan! They only care about protecting themselves, not about the customer.

When we arrived, the car they knew we were coming to see wouldn't start as the battery was dead. They wanted a firm deal before test driving the car too. I said no way to that without driving the car, of course couldn't be done as the batter was dead. There were many other things that didn't seem right either but I won't bore the review. There were so many red flags popping up that we just got out of there. Two days later we bought the same make model and year of car with similar kms at another dealer about 10 km away. We actually spoke to several other dealers about our experience and all confirmed what we already knew, stay away.

I highly recommend that you NOT try to buy a car from this dealer. I called about a car and spoke…read moreto a guy named Ilya. He assured me that he would be there waiting for me to come for a scheduled test drive. When I arrived with my wife, I was met by the owner Steve (he didn't introduce himself, I had to ask him who he was). He barely said hello, didn't even ask my name, but let me test drive the car because Ilya told him someone was coming to do so. After the drive, we sat down to talk price and financing. I was trying to understand why he wanted $500 before even discussing the price or financing. Not a single word about the price. He immediately asked for $500. I kept asking questions about the $500 as this is not my first car purchase from a dealer, but this is the first time I was asked for money before any discussions had started. Steve is a rude person, does not know how to talk to people, and has a bad temper. He immediately stood up and kicked me and my wife out of the office. He lost his temper and shouted "I'M NOT SELLING YOU THIS CAR!!! GET OUT!!!" I was confused, but said "Thank you" and proceeded to leave. Unprovoked, Steve continued to lose his temper and started yelling at us "YOU THINK THIS IS A FREE COUNTRY!?!"...????...umm, yeah! I was born in this country and it absolutely IS a free country. This really upset me and we exchanged words. Even as I was stepping back into my car (a nicer and more expensive car than the one I test drove) Steve was still engulfed in a rage and he came back out of his office just to yell "GET OUT OF HERE BEFORE I CALL THE POLICE!!!" ???? Umm, I was already leaving and getting into my car to leave. Steve obviously has anger management issues and a slow wit. Of course, I was angered by this trivial display of a loss of self control, I asked him "do you mean you are gonna call the cops because I'm already leaving? Is it because I'm gonna tell you to F*** OFF?" He then shouts "YEAH!!!" So I respond "Well, call the cops then and F*** OFF!" When leaving the office, Steve nearly shoved my wife and I down his steep staircase. I'm still considering filing a police report, but I am definitely filing a BBB complaint. YYZ Auto has provided me with the worst experience I have ever had when trying to purchase a car, and we never even talked about a price!!! I urge everyone reading this to avoid YYZ at all costs. Steve presented himself as a violent, extremely short tempered, impatient, ignorant man. I actually feared for my wife's and my own safety around him. As a man of this nature, I would not stop to help Steve if I saw him in a ditch in need of medical help. I'm filing my BBB complaint right after this review. Too bad you can't post negative stars. At pickup, the hood wouldn't open, despite their earlier promise to fix it. They charged a certification fee. Within a week, a "drive train malfunction" warning appeared. They kept the car for repairs from September 15th to the 19th. Though claimed they fixed the hood, they wouldn't specify what caused the drivetrain issue but assured its resolution. Four days later, the malfunction warning returned. Despite my concerns, the staff redirected me to their mechanic and hinted at retaliation when I expressed doubts about his honesty. All I want is a proper repair before my warranty ends and an independent inspection The Mechanic informed me that Mortoland never fixed the Hood because the cable they claimed to have replaced was not. Be careful with this place.

I really hate dropping one stars, but I really don't know what other rating to give this place…read more First off, I had to personally add them to Yelp as they were not listed previously. The only other reviews I could find were on Google and they were mostly lower rated. I'm putting this here for all the Yelpers out there who are looking for a luxury car or vehicle and have come across this dealership. To start things off, I had a deal with a private seller on a GTR. The seller was pushed by Ideal Fine Cars to sell his GTR to them, so the deal I initially had was bullied out of my hands. Ideal Fine Cars now wanted me to pay $3000 more than the deal I made with the private seller was. Seriously? $3000 for doing absolutely nothing!? They told me to come in to check out the car and discuss possibly trading my car towards the GTR. I thought I might entertain the idea if I got a good trade in value, so I decided to check out the dealership. The salesman I spoke with was there (I'll leave his name out), but he did not say hi or greet me (until much later), he was just on his phone the entire time I showed up. He finally showed me the car and said I could take a look at it. That was just about all I could do, as I was not able to test drive it or even sit in it (as they had someone cleaning the interior). So I drove a couple of hours to come and stare at a GTR and on top of this the salesman did not even discuss the trade in value he had for my car or any solid numbers, which he said he would. He did the typical "what is your car worth to you" banter and in the end I got nothing out of it. When I left the dealership the salesman said he would call me to follow up on an offer for my car and negotiate a deal on the GTR. This never happened, and when I called him a couple weeks later to follow up he came up with absolutely no numbers or any kind of deal, in which he said he would. I guess they just don't want the business or care to follow up with customers, as this is one of the first times I actually had to call a car dealership to follow up on a deal! It must be just like what the salesman said "these GTR's sell like hotcakes" so they don't really need anyone's business. Well they certainly don't have mine and I was a serious potential buyer that will now look elsewhere. It perplexes me to know a dealership which has so many high end cars, could care so little about their customers. After reading some other horror stories on Google reviews of this place, I'm glad I didn't end up making a deal with them.

Highly recommend you visit. Great vehicle super store with awesome customer service!!read more
