I called in a month and a 1/2 ago for an appointment, had to eventually reschedule, which gave me the opportunity to speak to two diff ladies and was given an option to purchase an $89 discount plan via a third party called resolution dental plan. This provides my whole family a discount when visiting the dental office. Making the price only $49 for a cleaning. Being it's myself, it would be $138 for the cleaning first time. Second time in the year would be $49, so almost $200 for two cleanings in the year. Well, what do you know, waited over a month to see this office and as soon as I get in, they hit me with a $15 charge due to covid. Something that was not mentioned by neither lady. I told her I did not bring an extra $15, she said I could reschedule. I told her it was inconvenient to reschedule due to a 2 hour round trip. She said sorry, idk. I walked out, embarrassed and called to speak with manager. Tina answers me, as the manager, I explained that I didn't have the $15 and wasn't given that detail by either lady and in these hard times all details should be given, considering that some cannot bust out with the extra few bucks. She had the nerve to tell me that their business is also having a hard time... so basically that her clients didn't matter, her business mattered more. MONEY HUNGRY BUSINESSES LIKE THIS REALLY TICK ME OFF, bc if I had allowed them to take my lousy $15, they would just be so quick to tack on even more at another visit!!! Grow up and be professional people! I would be embarrassed to tack on little charges like this to my clients. I offer roofing and remodeling. I am very upfront with my prices and I would never put my clients in a sticky situation or bind where after they've made the decision to choose me for the job, that they are now stuck with paying an additional fee that I wasn't upfront about! Just sad. And the lady told me this price change happened about two months ago!! Wow! Couldn't be upfront about anything I see, so how would I trust them with my teeth? Next thing you now, they'll be telling me I need an unnecessary root canal. Go somewhere you can trust, people! This ain't the spot. They're taking advantage of people and especially low income people who feel they need the program of discounts. You definitely get what you pay for and I have learned my lesson here. Cancelling the plan I jumped on for them. Bye Felicia. read more
