Immediately AFTER the pull out, J. Grant told me $1500 for an implant. Pure evil. Don't let that smooth voice fool you. I got health problems right after they pulled my tooth. Don't pull your tooth out unless you need to. Be very careful. Recommended by a friend, I went to see Dr. New in Valley Mills, Tx, & he's worth the drive. I will NEVER forgive Jennifer. I blame myself for not realizing that she had a tech talk for her & that clinic didn't have my best interest in mind. Say a prayer before walking in that door.

Botched Implants twice causing lasting damage! First implant…read morecaused infection leading to the reduced hearing capacity on my right ear. Second larger implant crowded out the teeth in front of the implant site resulting in speech difficulty. Dr. Lassetter denied any wrong doing and mentioned her former partner was on the Texas Dental Board implying that I'll have no recourse. She mislead me to think there was something wrong with me other than the peri-implantitis that she said I did not have. I spent a lot of my own money to get MRI, CT scan, and the removal of the implant by an oral surgeon. She told me there was nothing she could do for me, yet did not refer me to any specialist/oral surgeon. After two years of pain and suffering, I had to find the oral surgeon on my own to remove the implant. After the removal, the pain from the inflammation of the implant site is gone, but there is lasting damage to the right side of my mouth/face.

That said, he did good quality work. And has a very nice office, will all the latest equipment. His dental assistant was also top notch and really knew her stuff. This dentist was excellent with anesthesia -- t was truly painless -- and had a really positive attitude, very friendly and "can do". I really appreciated it. Not only was it too high, it was too big. I was having another issue with it as well from the time he placed it in. These concerns were dismissed. He struggled to get it in. Its really sad when you put trust in people like this and they take no accountability. Now that the damage is done he wanted to send me to orthodontist to pay more money. I can see why their overall rating on here is a 2. These people need a lawsuit. Im going to get a second opinion and go from there. I am taking myself and my family elsewhere where people actually care. As I said it's all cookies & cupcakes until something goes wrong. They are inexperienced in my experience. Which ended in a painful visit both the temporary and the permanent tooth. With little to no regard for my comfort. Even after I asked for only the dentist to do the work, she still tried to pawn it off on the "assistant ". All about the money though! Expected me to promptly pay after two terrible visits. 3 counting when I had to go back in just to get extra glue of the temp out of my gum. Which hurt like hell having the dentist pull floss though sore gum. Terrible! Not going back.

I was almost immediately called to the back (waited about 3 minutes). Once I got to the back, I was asked a series of questions that gave the dental hygienist an idea of my dental background and naturally, my fear of the dentist came up. She went out of her way to explain every single detail of what she was doing, why it mattered, and what she was seeing as she did it. Thankfully, I had no cavities so I only received the cleaning but I could not have been more grateful. She was gentle on my teeth and chatted with me about random topics to keep me engaged and at ease. The treatment I received at this office by everyone, from the front desk to the actual dentist herself, was 100/10. I was not prompted to write this review in any way, shape, or form; I am just genuinely impressed at the level of service, hospitality, and hometown feel of this office. I will absolutely be coming back.

I went to see this Dr the day after I lost my tooth filling. They got me in fast. He was not very…read morefriendly, but I didn't really care. He put a new filling. A few days later my tooth was hurting and I couldn't floss (because the new filling was touching the tooth beside it). He took a second look and told me that I did not need to have space between my teeth so food won't get stuck..and that the filling will settle in few days and it will become easier to floss.... It has been 3 months and the pain has gotten worse. Every time I floss the floss breaks. I finally went to a different dentist to find the cause of the pain that won't go a way and has gotten worse. I discovered that Dr. Davis had drilled so deep that the new filling is touching the nerve, and that the root is likely infected. My new dentist carved off part of the oversized filling to relieve some of the pressure and crowding, but that is only a temporary fix. It appears that the only way to repair the damage (and infection, if present) will be with a root canal. A simple filling that should have only cost a little over a $100 has is now is going to be a major procedure costing well over a $1000 plus months of pain and a painful oral surgery. Very disappointing. Doctors who don't care about their patients should not be doctors.

They took photos and sent the info off to my insurance to see what they would cover. Over two months later I called back to see why they hadn't had a response from my insurance, the receptionist told me they had no record of me coming in with a cracked tooth, and no record of sending anything to my insurance. The receptionist herself even held a mirror so they could get a better photo of the tooth for the insurance company. Needless to say, I'm looking for a new dentist.
