For the price I was expecting a super clean car, and a professional and solo ride to the airport. The driver was late and blamed Starbucks. The car smelled horrendously of smoke and SURPRISE there were other people in the car when I went to sit in the back seat. I had no idea I would be ride sharing, the person that took my reservation did not share that only $20 more could have confirmed a solo ride and they did not disclose there would be other people. This treatment is unprofessional on multiple levels. The car was in poor condition and the driver told me we could not use the AC going up the grade so it was uncomfortably hot and an engine alarm (?) was going off during that time. The driver proceeded to eat sunflower seeds and throw the seeds out the window. I was afraid they'd smatter the guy in back and hit his face. In these times it doesn't seem safe to be spreading spit around with people a foot away. I appreciate the driver helping me with my luggage. Overall it's a no. They lost all my future business. I did express my concern to the driver he was late, and I did share that no one disclosed that there would be other riders or offer me the choice to pay $20 for a solo ride. The price was the same as my most amazing airport driver now. I will also call the operator as well.

When the cab arrived he told me they didn't do flat rates. I was confused and was wondering ok maybe I heard wrong and asked I thought they were gonna give me a flat rate but he said he charged per mile. So I turn down the cab. When I called the company again and the guy/caller told me off as well as hung up on me. I found it very rude how he acted and felt he was very unprofessional. He thought I lied when I only misheard or misunderstood him. The driver was more polite and friendly.

We visited town for a few days from SD for Cowboys Training Camp, and lucked out by meeting the coolest cabbie ever when we got off the train. Manuel was very cool about letting us know that it was a $5 flat fee to our hotel, but if we wanted to stop by the liquor store as we'd requested, then he'd have to run the meter. We were of course fine with that, and appreciated his honesty. For the next several days, we called him whenever we needed a ride to the training camp, the salsa festival, various restaurants, bars, etc., and he was the epitome of customer service. He showed up exactly when he said he would, was courteous, gave us info about Oxnard (we'd never been there before), found some tourist pamphlet stuff for us, recommended restaurants and nicely warned us away from one we wanted to try but he knew had a really horrible rep with the health dept. Pegasus was recommended to us by a local hotel (for wedding guest transport), and all of the Google reviews are glowing! However, right from the start, customer service seemed to be severely lacking. I requested a quote online on Monday (immediately received an automated email acknowledging my request and indicating that I would receive a response "very soon"). I waited until Wednesday - after not receiving any communication, I followed up via email (the email they have listed on their site). Waited until Friday. Still nothing. I called first thing in the morning on Friday, but apparently while their hours are 6am-5pm, their Sales Team does not start until 8am. No biggie. The lady on the phone took down my name and number and told me that someone would give me a call before 9am. (side note: I did not mention my 2 previous requests... simply approached it like a brand new inquiry) 11:30am rolled around - nothing. So I called again - this time I did mention that I had called in the morning and didn't receive a call back. I finally got through to someone on the Sales Team, and she gave me her email address (I believe this was her direct email address, as it is not the same as the one listed on their website) and told me what information she needs me to include in my email. I emailed her all of the information within minutes of hanging up the phone. I received a proposal about 3.5hrs later, reviewed it and found that it did not take into account the details I had provided. I replied to the quote within 20 minutes of receiving it, requesting a quote with the details I had already provided. Today is now Thursday of the following week, and I've not received any response or updated quote. I've decided to book with another transit provider. Update: it's now Tuesday of the next week and I've finally received an updated quote. 2025 Update: I received a phone call from Pegasus in the second week of March 2025 inquiring if I was still interested in their services. lol
