After 2 toxic farms in 18 months , we were concerned. Judy welcomed us with open arms. (We waited…read morefor the next shoe to drop.) The professional conduct is second to none. Our horse is top shelf. And he is treated as such. The other farms he was treated like a concentration camp. Our horse is treated like a Champion. The board fees are very reasonable and fair. We are satisfied beyond measure.

My genuine thanks and love go out to Judy & Shelly. It has…read morebeen two years since I started my animal communication work. I didn't know where to start. I knew I wanted to work with all kinds of animals, but horses held a special place in my heart. As a result of Judy & Shelly's generosity, I had the opportunity to work side by side with their horses. At first, they weren't sure what to expect, and I was ill-advised to explain the process. I have worked with many humans but never animals. A chance was taken with me, and amazing things happened. Through our work, I learned how to communicate with horses and help heal their past dramas, and Judy & Shelly's horses were able to get the help they needed. Morning Star farm is a special place. I have been to many horse farms since and I have never seen two humans care and love for their animals as much as Judy and Shelly do. They are true heroes, who have saved countless animals and their work with neurodivergent children & adults has left me speechless. The love they have for their animals and clients is endless and that is a special gift to have! Thank you, Judy & Shelly, for being my teachers of all things horses and giving back to this world in a way most people can't even imagine.

i'm actually being generous with this two - if they had a lower rating that is what they would…read moreget.. omg i have never seen people so freakin rude in my life. the only good thing i will say about this place is that the horses are very beautiful and our guide TARA was extremely nice and so informative on questions we asked about the horses. it would be very wise to keep bringing her back to help with the guide... my b/f and i first went on sat aug 17th, 2019 to get information to sign up for the guide. the woman with the glasses i guess the owner was EXTREMELY RUDE!!!!! we've never been there so of course you learn as you go along. we drove up to the office where she told us we were not allowed to park there but in the parking lot to the right when you drive in. then we were told we couldn't make a reservation for the next day because we had to call first thing in the morning after 8am. we were like cool no problem because we wanted to ride before we started our drive back home. so here comes sunday morning august 18th 2019 and we begin calling and not answer. finally at 8:40 someone picks up and we go to make our reservation and we are told NO - WE ARE ALL BOOKED UP FOR THE DAY. at that point we were like well why didn't you just let us make our reservation the day before - we were told no you have to do it the day of. so my b/f hangs up and we were both disappointed because #1 we were driving home that day before 1pm and #2 i personally have never been on a horse in my life.. i tell my b/f to call back and explain we are going home and can't make it any later can we come now - the person was like okay come now. we get there in 5mins. i guess the owner - which i should have gotten her name was just nasty and rude. after we fill out the form it is now time to get on the horse. now i'm only 4'11 and my legs are short. so i get on the small stand they have and the skinny woman who looks manly tells me to swing my leg over.. well it was some site because i couldn't swing my leg over this huge horse. she is holding me on one side and i kept trying to swing my leg over because it was halfway and i called for my b/f to help me. when i look back at the woman she has this nasty face and holding her arm. it was the most embarrassing thing i've been through. oh and when our guide Tara came there was no one else going on the trail but me and my b/f.. REALLY BECAUSE THEY WERE SO BOOKED. Tara was so very extremely nice. she took it slow showed us how to handle to horses and how to pull on the reign. we got to see a family of three deers laying by the trees. the horses were so tamed and beautiful. as we got back the woman who had tried to help me on once again gave a face and shook her head as to say she is not helping me down. SO FREAKIN RUDE!!!!!! as far as the experience on the trail with Tara and the horses i enjoyed it. if they plan to get better reviews BEING NICE AND NICER TO YOUR PAYING CUSTOMERS IS A START!!!!!!!

This place sucks. The staff are very rude. Horses out of control. Staff constantly screaming. Just…read morehorrible do not recommend.

A short google search later, we found Daisy Field Farms and spoke to the owner who was kind enough to find us a slot that matched our schedule. We even got 20mins late while getting there because our GPS totally screwed us over, but they were kind enough to wait and immediately got us horses when we got there. I got Stella who was a beautiful big horse, strong and obedient. We trotted with our horses in a single file over a small hill/mountain. I don't know what to call it, only trust me when I say this IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. The farm looks like it's come out of the pages of an adorable old school english farm illustration. There are wagons here and there, Dumbo the dog is super friendly, there are goats you can feed, and rabbits too. During the one hour ride, you're taken up and down and around a mountain, through forests and fields and by small lakes. It was a gorgeous day when we went and everything looked 10times prettier. The couple who run this place are super nice and the horses look very well taken care of. Summer vacations are on and their three adorable little grandsons were helping around the farm too. I was positively jealous and swear I never wanted to leave. I'll be back again for sure, this place just made me so so happy!

We had an amazing guide! There was beautiful scenery through the mountains. I would definitely come…read moreback again!
