I pet mouse the entire time and when we were assigned horses, my husband said i wanted mouse. I recommend not picking your own horse & just having a horse be assigned to you. The workers know the horses best. Mouse is on the slower side but I still enjoyed my time on him. They know which horse hasn't been out yet, has more energy for the ride, etc. All the horses did a great job and they're friendly. At the end of the ride, mouse turned around to look at me while I was still on him. He's so funny... I guess he wanted to see who kept talking him. On the ride we saw turkeys and deer. I had gone horseback riding once over the summer, but I am definitely a newbie and Linda guided us on what to do (ex: lean back when going downhill and lean forward when going uphill). I love that we got to walk AND trot and cross streams. My horse Sarge was a former NYPD horse and he was very good and well behaved (although he was quick and ate some grass before I could stop him while on the trail). After we finished, Linda helped take some photos of us and we got to meet the other horses in the stable. I would absolutely recommend coming here!!!

The stable and property is absolutely beautiful and it's not your run of the mill little trek around the property, it's 20 something acres with woods, fields and water to ride through. Bob immediately greeted us upon arrival then we were introduced to Linda, Olivia and the horses. You can tell from the get go how well cared for the horses are and how much they truly love doing what they do. I've been riding most of my life and they are able to match your horse to your level of riding whether it's just starting or intermediate. This weekend was going to be the first time I ever went to Mount Poconos. We only had half a day on…read moreour hands and horseback riding was one of the things I was dying to do. A short google search later, we found Daisy Field Farms and spoke to the owner who was kind enough to find us a slot that matched our schedule. We even got 20mins late while getting there because our GPS totally screwed us over, but they were kind enough to wait and immediately got us horses when we got there. I got Stella who was a beautiful big horse, strong and obedient. We trotted with our horses in a single file over a small hill/mountain. I don't know what to call it, only trust me when I say this IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. The farm looks like it's come out of the pages of an adorable old school english farm illustration. There are wagons here and there, Dumbo the dog is super friendly, there are goats you can feed, and rabbits too. During the one hour ride, you're taken up and down and around a mountain, through forests and fields and by small lakes. It was a gorgeous day when we went and everything looked 10times prettier. The couple who run this place are super nice and the horses look very well taken care of. Summer vacations are on and their three adorable little grandsons were helping around the farm too. I was positively jealous and swear I never wanted to leave. I'll be back again for sure, this place just made me so so happy!

I have my 3 horses boarded at Stoneview Farms since April 2011. I love this facility. I have…read morepreviously been at 3 other farms who I also liked very much. But Stoneview is definitely the longest time my horses have been boarded. I hope it's like home for them by now. I love the people at Stoneview Farms. It's no drama, no bossing, no rudeness, and no stress. Stoneview Farms is a place where people come to enjoy their time with their horses. I really appreciate that. The schedule is very open but I always check for availability on special days. So far I can visit my horses anytime: 8 pm or 6 am. On holiday days or weekends. This is important since I live 35 miles away and I have a very busy schedule. The barn is kept extremely clean. The horse stalls are 14x14 large. Perfect for really big horses like mine. It has windows that are open in the summer. It never really gets too hot in this barn. I think it is because of the altitude of its location. There is always a nice breeze. The farm also has a large arena, a round pen, a jumping field and a track. The horses are not crowded in their paddocks which means there is plenty of green landscape for our equines to enjoy. The Taddeo family and their employees work tirelessly in improving the previously neglected farm. Every month there is something new, something improved and it makes everyone happy. Its already a gorgeous farm that suits our pocket sizes. Some boarders are serious horse people. They will ride under any weather, and their horses are worked almost daily in their skills. That is always inspiring to me. Some horses there are retired but they look very happy and cared for by their owners. Some horses belong to Eric Taddeo and these are race horses that are worked out almost daily. I really enjoy seeing all this activity. But nobody is preaching and its a very relaxed atmosphere without die hard rules. I do recommend this farm. It's a pity they don't have an indoor or a warm space to hang out in the winter with my children. But I'm certain that eventually it will happen... I love their new instructor Laura Juhlin and she has brought in so much business by teaching horse ridding to children and adults. She is also very easy going and knowledgeable of her horses. Stoneview Farms is the best Warwick secret. They are affordable, kind, home like facility for all sorts of horses and their owners. Thank you guys!
