If I could give zero stars, that would be too generous. This happened several years ago but the "what" is far more important than the "when". Took a used vehicle I recently purchased from a big local dealer chain in for a simple exhaust downpipe repair. The employee who did the work did not properly ground the vehicle, so when he did the arc welding, which involves electricity, he fried my entire electric system. Tony, the owner or manager shown on the website, refused to accept any responsibility to me, my father, or my uncle who was a mechanic. Even better, they tried to bill me for the exhaust repair. They say they are an honest, trustworthy business but my experience says otherwise. I ended up taking them to court in Livonia and unfortunately had to speak first, which allowed Tony to hear my statement and then lie to the magistrate. After I explained what happened, Tony said that my car "sounded like crap" and that's why it wouldn't run now. I was not allowed to rebut with "it sounded bad because it needed a downpipe. It ran when I drove it to your shop and it does not run now. The electrical system worked fine but suddenly now is fried." I tried, but the magistrate shut me down and would not allow me to say another word for the remainder of the hearing. The magistrate either wasn't paying attention or was simply ignorant of basic auto repair and systems, because he agreed with Tony. The car I had just bought to replace one totaled by a drunk driver was ruined and he got to walk out without any consequence. The thousands I had to spend to get another car cost me the tuition I had saved to go back to grad school. His lies cost him nothing but messed me up big time. We walked out together and the entire time he stuck to his story and made me out to be a nuisance he was forced to deal with. Stay far away from these guys. Go somewhere else. When they screw up they won't take responsibility and you'll be out of luck. read more

RUN, DON'T WALK FROM THIS SHOP. We dropped off our vehicle June 29th with assurance that the work would be done by July 10th when we returned from our vacation. On the 6th we were called and told that someone attempted to steal our vehicle, but that they would cover the repairs ASAP and that the planned repairs would still be done ASAP. July 18th (almost two weeks later) I got a text that they finally pulled out the window frame to send it in for a new window to be made, and that all the other repairs would be done along with that by the end of the month, guaranteed. On July 28th I received another text that everything was completely finished except for the window and was assured I could pick the vehicle up on August 2nd or 3rd. On the 2nd I was told that they were still waiting on only the window and I was given a quote nearly double over what I was quoted for the original work. I went up to see the vehicle on the 3rd and found that the door panel was still disassembled as was the center console, there was stuff disconnected under the hood and on the floor of the shop, and the carpet in the bedroom was covered with dark black grease after again being told everything was finished and cleaned up (I have photos of all of this). I expressed confusion to the manager Mickey who up until that point had been polite. He got defensive and argumentative with me in front of the other staff, yelling at me (which I then recorded) and told me that the locks weren't even back from being re-keyed (again, after being told the RV was "completely finished" other than the window). I was promised stuff by another employee Anthony who said he was the manager (and wasn't), and he just talked in circles. I called the glass shop who stated that they never promised a two-week time frame due to the nature of the special glass and curation. The owner of the shop, Tony, was beyond condescending and rudely told me to come up and get my vehicle (still taken apart) if I wasn't happy waiting for the repairs. He gave me a total for the original repairs, but refused to take ownership of the fact that by then their shop had our vehicle for nearly SIX weeks and that their lack of action had cost us income and impacted our business. We were finally able to pick up our rig on August 16th - seven weeks after we dropped it off. The carpet in the bedroom is full of black grease that is not really coming out, they ruined the light beige rug in the hall with more grease, and the "new" window is full of scratches. Oh, and it was left outside completely unlocked when we pulled up. We paid our bill and got the heck out of there. We brought our RV here because of the reviews. While the break in was not their fault, the fact that they dragged their feet on repairs and making things right, combined with the attempt at gaslighting me (a woman) is unacceptable and unprofessional. If you are a female or know females who might be looking for auto work, don't send them here. read more

They could have snowed me, saying my whoosit was bad, or my whatsit was loose, but they didn't. They determined water had gotten in the line and fixed it. For free. And they always remember to super lube up my hood latch because it sticks. Tony treats me right. He'll prioritize work by how soon it needs to get done when my money is tight. I will be honest, the guys made a mistake while lifting the car which resulted in damages - But they let me know what happened right away - and offered to fix it (they also did my muffler delete for free). Always had a great experience here. I received a coupon welcoming me to the neighborhood and giving me a free oil change. This is my 4th time coming since and Ive always been treated well and fair - esp as a woman. I had taken my grand cherokee to two other places before and was told my oil changes would be $45+ but then came here and it was done for $26 every time. Seems to be an honest place. Just don't expect the extras...they aren't going to check tire pressure or fill fluids, wasn't disappointed at that. read more

I've been here a few times for oil changes and to have some exhaust work done. The pricing is very reasonable and the level of service is top notch. The waiting room for customers is the best I have ever been in for an auto shop, with free bottled water, coffee, and whatever else you might need. It's also super clean! The manager, Anthony, is always super helpful and will get everything scheduled and done for you quickly. Took my car there for a simple job weeks ago and I'm still paying for my mistake. A simple exhaust repair and coolant flush turned into an ongoing series of problems because of an obvious and amateur mistake on their part. If you don't ground the car before welding, you fry all kinds of computer modules, components and wiring - which is exactly what happened. Of course the shop manager Alex first tried to tell me that the problems "just happened on their own" and it happens all the time. Maybe with their incompetent workers it DOES happen all the time. He tried to pull one over on me, but once a relative went in that knew what he was talking about, Alex's story changed - quickly. However, they have never once accepted responsibility and now i have to get go to Small Claims court to try and recoup the $1500 plus I've racked up in expenses since they screwed up and we pulled it from their shop. In short, the car ran fine before they did the work and now it doesn't. They lied to me about the causes and then replaced my original parts with defective salvage parts, took forever to do the work and diagnostics. The service manager Alex treated me poorly and with disdain for questioning what happened. Lied about completing the coolant flush. Refused to cooperate with fixing the car and wouldn't allow me to take it to a repair facility of my choice rather than a dealer - who charges waaay too much. Refused to take responsibility for their actions. Almost cost me $3000 in repairs - or the loss of the car since that is too much to spend on a used car. AVOID THEM!! Was told that a tune up and radiator was needed - cost of $1000....although I already received a tune up over 6 mths ago. Took it to another mechanic, there was a loose wire and NO leak in the radiator. Total cost - $75. My car has since been running good for over a year.
