If you are having CAR/TRUCK TROUBLE in or anywhere near the city of Orange, LOOK NO FURTHER! My family and I have been coming to do car repairs at this location for 20 years now with Ulices. The work is done well and it is guaranteed. The prices are reasonable compared to dealerships and other shops in the area. They do work on all car types, including electrical cars like Tesla. They do pretty much all types of car/truck problems including transmissions. No tires or collision problems though. No motorcycles either. We are 20-year happy customers and highly recommend this place! read more

My family and I have been bringing our vehicles to Ulysses and his team for over 20 years. Yes, over two decades! On top of being a genuinely nice guy their prices and quality of service are a thing of old and simply don't exist in today's world anymore. From simple oil changes to major engine work they have you covered. Speedy service that has truly never let me down. I spent ten years living 350 miles away and I still drove all the way down to have them work on my car when it needed anything. Don't waste your time with other mechanics who will likely take advantage of you. Thank me later! read more

We were coming from out of town and our car unexpectedly started having issues once we were in town and we went to 3 or 4 other auto shops and this was the one that gave us a literal hour turn around time. They were able to quickly find the issue and fix it right away and was awesome. Especially because we were in town for a family emergency, cannot thank them enough. read more

Thank you guys for your professionalism! I got my tire fixed it took only 10 minutes. Highly recommended!

The Top Tune Team lead by Ulysses has never failed our Company and personal employee's vehicle repairs from Engine, Transmission replacements to everything vehicle related, even the simplest oil change. They are quick to respond to our needs and have fair prices. We relocated several miles from them and happen to have another mechanic less than a block away but would rather send our repairs to someone we have trusted for many years. Kudos Top Tune. read more

I just love the staff of this place!!! Being a girl from Mexico and not understanding auto related terms in Spanish and less in English, can be difficult to see what is the problem with your car and the possible solutions! They explained me every single detail. This guys really take care of you and they are very honest! I've come to this place before and they have always been this nice to me!! They do great work, fast and efficient. They are professionals on their services and prices are the fairest!! Ulises is very courteous as well as his staff. They sure know what real customer service is!!! This is my fourth time here and I'm definitely sticking with them forever!! There's a pretty neat air conditioned waiting room with nice music and very comfy coaches! ;) The restrooms are impeccable. When I had to go, I mentally prepared for a "gas station restroom" but I was completely wrong!! read more

I was luckily able to diagnose the issue myself with my car so I called around nearby mechanics. No one was able to get it in today or they wanted $600+ I own an old old old mercedes diesel that I am not ready to part with, and yet another rubber part went bad on me. I called the shop and the person who answered the phone actually owns the same make/model as me, I was so happy to find someone who definitely knew what they were doing! In and out in the time I estimated, and the fairest price out of everyone in Orange! Definitely recommend if you drive an 80's era mercedes! read more

Ulisses and his team always do an excellent job. In fact, when I was told I urgently needed brake pads, I drove gingerly until I could get the car over to Top Tune. Not only did I find out my need wasn't as urgent as I had been told but the price in and out the door was far less than I had been quoted elsewhere. I could not recommend this place anymore highly. read more

I have known the owner for quite some time now, even before he started this business. And to be fair and not biased, I'm writing this review. The owner himself has always been a hard working and most importantly a honest technician. I have not seen him once do anything that wasn't right. His main purpose as a technician and business owner is to help other people, for the better. Some people believe that all shop workers and owners are evil and would bend over backwards to make an dishonest buck off of you. Not Top Tune. I read a review that stated that they were able to find a $100 gas tank over the one that was recommended that was around $400(I'll have to go back and check what that price was). But would you really want to invest in a $100 gas tank? Would you really want to ignore the safety of your passengers? I doubt that. Some may think that the parts prices are way too high, but Ulysses and his team have been around long enough to see what brands just don't work or are reliable, hence the more expensive one is always recommended ( remember, you get what you pay for). "Cheap parts do cheap things" Labor costs are always going to be static, you'll find the same rates anywhere. So it really boils down to is whether or not you want to take Top Tunes recommendations seriously, which is always for the better (in the long run) and not your pocket. If it was me and IS me, I would always take Top Tunes recommendations and service seriously because they decide what is best for your cars situation. All in all Great, quick, and reliable service! read more

I've lived close to top tune for years but I've never gone because it always seemed intimidating and expensive but it's far from that. They were really friendly and had my oil change done in a very timely manner. The service and price doesn't get better than top tune, I'll never over pay for oil changes ! read more

I was purchasing a car from a dealer in the area and wanted to get a pre-purchase inspection. I basically wanted an honest, unbiased look at the car to see if it was something that i should purchase. After only about 30 minutes they reported that the car only needed an oil change and that all-in-all it was a really clean car. This was six months ago and so far my 2012 Lexus has been absolutely perfect. I will be making the 30 minute drive anytime i need service because these guys have ear ed my business. read more

I've been taking my cars here for 10 years and have never had a problem. They are quick and I like that they have a van that can take me home/to work if I don't have time to wait around. read more

These are the only mechanics I trust. We were introduced to this shop a couple years ago from a guy in Orange we bought a car from. He'd been going here for years and recommended it to us. What a lucky find! You can definitely trust these guys to give you recommendations - tell you your options and explain the costs/benefits of each. I know nothing about cars so I really appreciate that they take the time to make repairs a learning experience. AND their pricing is fantastic, you won't find a better deal for QUALITY work anywhere. As a bonus, it's walking distance from downtown Orange, so whenever I get an oil change I take stroll down to a cute restaurant and make an enjoyable breakfast/lunch experience out of it. Now I actually look forward to getting my tires rotated! ;) read more

I have been bringing my scion to these guys for the last four years, they always do a great job, good work and fair prices.

I love this place! I am from out of state so I was weary of finding a mechanic that I trusted, but immediately I knew I found good people. I have been coming here for years now and know they will always take care of me and my car. Whether its just an oil change or a big repair, they do an excellent job. I recommend them to all of my friends too! read more

Took my truck there to diagnose a automatic shifting sputter. After test drive I was told the trans is likely going out, No up sell or scam, but after I had multiple shops diagnose the same issue, It came out to only be the the transfer case from the 4x4. Either replace or just pull the fuse for the 4x4 until I could afford the repair. But definitely not a trans going bad. Trans still running like a champ. I was told it didn't have long to live, read more

Been here last 5 years Trustworthy flexible fair pricing type of place you'd send grandma too!!

First of all, let me state that I actually didn't get anything repaired here. My car had been having some electrical issues and it wasn't the battery. So I brought it here to get an electrical systems diagnostic. I came in around noon and it was pretty empty. I explained what was wrong with my car and they did the test. It took about 45 minutes and they didn't find anything wrong. And then they didn't charge me for the test! Usually it costs $90 but they were super cool about it. I was very appreciative of that. I would definitely come back here again for future maintenance on my car. read more

This place is the last honest, courteous, and kind shop that exists. I have been taking my car to them for quite a while now and ulisses and his guys always find the problem. I will continue taking my vehicles to them because its the only place I feel comfortable having any type of service done on my car. You guys are awesome!! Keep it up guys. read more

I went in to get a routine oil change on a Saturday at Top Tune Auto. When I went to pick it up on Monday the owner said he noticed the battery seemed like it was dying. As I tried to turn my car on the battery was completely dead. This seemed extremely fishy because my Jetta is only 2 years old and there was nothing wrong with the battery until I dropped it off there. The owner then said "oh that's weird, well you know we happen to sell car batteries for 150$". If I had proof I would sue these guys for embezzlement. They either intentionally left a light on in my car all night, or replaced my factory battery with an old one. Unfortunately for them I jump started my car and bought a new battery at a local gas station, so they didn't even end up making an extra buck out of the scam. All they ended up doing was ruining a perfectly good monday for me. Please do yourself a favor and avoid leaving your car with these criminals! read more
